*Kidman's pov*

I struggled to grasp just what Joseph had said. They spied on my whereabouts before I had a cerebral chip? How? I got up and wiped the tears of astonishment from my eyes. I still couldn't believe it, Joseph's here and he's-

Laughter, all to familiar laughter resonated from the cinema's speakers as the camera turned on again. Projected onto the screen was a blank, black face, with the outline of a suit-shirt and red tie underneath. It spoke,

"Kidman, Kidman, Kidman," there was a dramatic pause, as he sneered, "long time no see."

"You-you're dead!"

"Aw," he said casually, "I missed you to."

The image began to phase out and the fuzzing of static blasted from the surround sound mixed with laughter. Black smoke started to materialize the impossible and my insides turned and my skin went cold. I hastily ran, the rage from earlier gone as fear took hold.

"Aww, afraid birdie?" The voice purred as if I was still in the cinema and not running through concrete hallways with the assault rifle over my back.

"Are you familiar with that lie people tell themselves when they lose someone they love? Oh, wait-" he laughed, "you wouldn't!"

I barged through into tile halls and he was there. The Administrator. He blocked my only path, dark tendrils whipping from his body as he continued saying,

"People will make up the lie that their loved ones are in their hearts, tell children that their memory lives within them so that they can cope with death."

He disappeared and I continued on tears stinging my eyes only to have him again at the end of the hall.

"But once those children grow up they realize it's all a lie. Those that they love are gone or they simply forget them altogether; out of sight, out of mind they say. I know the pain you hold, I haunt you at night don't I?"

"Shut up!!!" I screamed.

"I know your pitiful excuse of a family at least had the decency of deceiving you into thinking that those you hate or disgust cannot be housed in your heart. That their memory cannot live in you, or did they teach you to cover your eyes and ears? Is that what you've done for five years? Hide from the truth?"

The lights in the hall flickered on, causing him to dissolve and I continued onward towards the chapel, holding my arm that had the knife thrown into it. That monster stood on the platform, black smoke forming around him as he droned on,

"What have you done to yourself? You were nothing before, how did you become less? You shake more now than when I told you, told you that you're going to be an example of what we are going to become!"

"Get out of my head!"

"Ahh," he said as a popping sound echoed through the silence, "I see, you've lied to yourself all your life. You've ran away from your family, you ran out on Mobius and thought that without seeing them you'd escape or forget. But you haven't..." two clones of me materialized next to him, "you know why you haven't forgotten? Because you can't run from your worst monsters; the monsters that live inside you-"

The clones jumped up onto the chandeliers of the chapel in one jump.

"And yourself."

The mouths of the clones opened up like flowers when they roared and I cussed as I ran. Laughter followed me and I risked a glance back to see the clones crawling on the walls after me, saliva dripping from their mouths. I burst through one set of double doors and then another. There was a clap and I glanced back seeing one wrecked into the floor and the other one started a slide on the tiles but recovered. I risked closing the next set of double doors but the monster's hand punched through the hardened glass. I screamed in pain as it clawed at my face, cutting my cheek. I cursed and a shot of anger burst from me and I turned to violently twist the things arm, breaking the bone. Then I opened the door and punched it in the face, and kicked it before running from the other one that ran like a cat.

I looked back briefly and pushed harder but came at a crossways. I turned sharply and the monster wrecked but I used my momentum, turned my hips, knife in hand and impaled the beast's head into the wall. My teeth were grit as I twisted the blade spitefully. It lifted its hand with much effort before dying.

"Take that!!" I ripped the knife out with a vengeance and kicked its body.

There was a shriek and the other clone came running to me on two feet. I fled to the nearest door and entered a library. I took tentative glances at my surroundings and noticed a staircase, lofter, the check out area, and tons of really tall bookshelves. I hunkered down and started sneaking around.

The door clapped open and I could tell that the monster was straining it's ears for the slightest noise. It laughed a demonic laugh, taunting,

"Did you really think that you were something?" It began preening about looking for me, it's unhinging mouth uttering a laugh, "You never did make a one year anniversary with any of your boyfriends... did you?"

I grit my teeth and muttered a curse as the creature passed into the row of books behind me.

"Fitting considering your failures. I mean," it chuckled, "you act like I can't see you through the gaps of this bookcase."

Wait-

Both arms reached through the bookcase and I grabbed her bad arm, pulled it through and rammed my back into the bookcase. The monster shrieked as the bookcases fell on top of her. I got up and shrieked when the arm came with me twitching as I dropped it.

I shuffled backwards and bumped into the checkout area. My hand numbly glided over a flashlight and I picked it up. Clicking the power button I had to bop it before it flickered on to show me two different blood trails. I mumbled a curse and climbed over the counter, searching for anything of use. Pulling open drawers I found a magazine for my assault rifle, and a revolver with one shot. I muttered under my breath,

"Does the librarian play Russian roulette much?"

I tucked the gun into my pants and stayed low as I crept from the checkout area. Ominous silence reigned until I heard the watery sound of something being eaten. There was a tear and I continued on and spotted the red light of the 'exit' sign. I mumbled a curse and took my rifle from my back to reload it. Once I cocked it back I heard the wood of a bookcase groan. She's up there.

Without sound, a clawed hand embedded weakly into my back and I yelped swinging my knife back at- nothing?! I sheathed my knife and took my flashlight out to see the stump of and arm slithering away. Ugh, I don't like that one bit. Then I was plastered to the ground by the clone which shrieked at me, a crater in her head and gashes from the bookcase. As she raised her stump as a weapon I dodged instinctively as she tried to stab me with the bone. Left, right. Left, right, then she shrieked and tried to bite into me as she spat at my face and I wormed my revolver free and pulled the trigger frantically several times until I put a hole in her.

This stunned her enough for me to shove her off as she reeled somewhat in pain before throwing her stiletto like stump at me and that and a long nailed swipe before I pistol whipped her. She collapsed and her flower like mouth roared in indignation.

"You, are one ugly mother-," then I curb stomped her head into a pancake, spying an eye and brain matter squirting from under my foot as I did so. I looked at her body and shuddered, she had ate and torn her mutilated arm into a shank. I hobbled out of the exit and found myself in the hall of a Catholic school or something and spied the administrator.

"What. Do. You. Want?!"

"Finally," he said, ignoring my question, "Alpha and Omega meet."

He disappeared and I continued onward until Mr. Camilus bumped into me.
