I Will Survive
Though the rider took his gaze away and his face hardened in an instant.
His guilt ridden face and loss of actions for a second was enough for the knights to doubt him and came running in his direction.
The coachman froze with shock. He was not expecting the knights to come out suddenly.
His body trembled while his hands on the reins tightened.
The horse neighed loudly as if they were afraid when a knight took the reins from him and pulled him out of the carriage.
"Where have you seen the girl? If you would not give proper replies then you would be imprisoned for kidnapping a small child and selling it." The threat was loud and clear when the man shivered.
Their grim face was telling him, a wrong reply and he would end miserably.
