Lian's group did indeed reach Ostalas Forest on the afternoon of the next day. Or, to be more specific, the small settlement located on its borders. The settlement itself didn't have a name since there were no permanent residences there. Everyone simply gathered there to have a place far from the Star Energy Creatures while they rested.
Also, quite a few of the Star Energy Warriors there would set up small stalls to sell things they found in the Forest. Obviously, most of them were selling the parts of Star Energy Creatures. It was quite common for merchants to come by and fill their caravans with those items before returning to their own cities. For the warriors, it saved them the time to go back to the city while carrying all those things. Even if they sold those items at a lower price, they saved money in time and energy.
"Senior Blan, perhaps the thing you need can be found in one of those stalls, no?" Tuly asked Blan.
However, Blan immediately shook his head, replying, "If the thing I need could be transported here, I wouldn't have come myself. Instead, I would have posted an order with Brolen for his mercenaries to come and gather the item for me."
Lian couldn't help but ask in response. "We have spent so long talking about each others' worlds that I forgot to ask. What exactly are you looking for, Master?"
Blan looked around and confirmed that no one was listening before replying, "I'm here for the Tricolor Dew. It only appears during the first hour of the day and quickly loses its effect within one hour or so as well. That's why it can't be transported and has to be used on sight."
"Tricolor Dew?" Tuly narrowed his eyes as he had heard something about it. "I know about a flower called the Tricolor Lily. Could it be related to the dew?"
Blan nodded. "That's the one."
"Is that a problem, Tuly?" Carol asked back.
Tuly nodded, saying, "This flower can only be found in the core region of Ostalas Forest. In general, Ostalas is a quite low-level Star Energy Creatures' Territory. Even in the inner region, you would hardly find any creature above Level Two. However, things change in the core region. Although the core region still has a lot of Level One and Two Star Energy Creatures, it does have a few Level Three."
Tuly continued, "The Coral Bear that we want is also a Level Three Star Energy Creature. However, the reason I had accepted the job of killing it was because it could be found in the inner region. If Brolen had said it was in the core region, I wouldn't have come."
Grisa shrugged her shoulders in response. "Well, Brolen only came after you for Senior Blan's protection after you leveled up. Doesn't that mean your Level should be enough to deal with the Creatures since you also have our support?"
Tuly sighed but nodded in the end. "Well, yeah... however, it will be quite dangerous, and things might not go smoothly."
Blan didn't seem to care. "I have to get the Tricolor Dew. It's very important for me."
Lian immediately asked back. "What do you want to use it for, Master?"
"I need it for the Three Phases Leveling Medicine," replied Blan.
Tuly's group opened their eyes wide in shock! "Really?! Isn't that the medicine used for those stuck at Level Two? We heard that it has a 30% chance of allowing someone at the peak of Level Two to advance to Level Three!"
Blan nodded. "That's the exact medicine. However, it's because of the danger involved in making the medicine that there are none for sale. It's just that the City Lord requested this medicine from me personally, so I was forced to accept the job. Well, there's another reason for it as well."
"I see..." Tuly and the others understood. "By the way... would it be possible to brew the medicine for us as well?" Sure enough, Grisa, Hira, Jaruo, and Kavit didn't let the chance to ask pass up. The Three Phases Leveling Medicine could allow a Level Two to enter Level Three with a 30% chance of success. One could already imagine how much it could help Level One Warriors trying to enter Level Two.
Blan snorted in response. "Hmph! Dream on! Sure, the dew is necessary, but so are other rare herbs I brought with me. Besides, I don't even know if I have enough herbs to succeed in mixing a single Star Medicine, let alone another four for you."
Well, it wasn't like Grisa and the others didn't expect that.
-Hey, Lian.- Lugg called Lian's attention. -If Grisa and the others are at the peak of Level One, wouldn't it be easy for them to Level Up? I just need to awaken their crowns. Even though they will fall dormant again later, they can at least allow Grisa's group to level up. It did work for Tuly.-
Lian had to admit Lugg was right. Back when Tuly's crown awakened, it said that the only reason Tuly hadn't leveled up until that point was that it was dormant. 'Hmm... but wouldn't it be too suspicious if they all suddenly level up? It might attract unnecessary problems.'
-That's true.- Lugg agreed with Lian. -In any case, my offer is always up. If you think they need a Level Up, I can try to awaken them. At least I already know what they like and hate after all that conversation on the way here. Awakening them will be easy.-
Lian slightly nodded in response. 'Alright, I'll keep that in mind.'
Following that, Lian asked something else to Blan. "Master, are you the only one who got this medicine-making job? It seems quite inefficient."
Blan smiled in response. "Smart. You're right. The City Lord did come and ask me for the medicine personally. However, he did ask other Star Apothecaries as well. I did say there was another reason for me to come, didn't I? That's the reward he promised for the medicine as it seems the City Lord is quite in a hurry. He promised the Apothecary who brings the medicine first a Star Fall Fragment."
And as always, any Golden Tickets and Stones are welcome. ;)
