Tuly and Brolen discussed a few more things before Brolen finally left. "According to what he said, we'll meet our client two hours later at the north gate exit of the city," said Tuly.
Grisa couldn't help but sigh in response. "After such a good night, my mood has already been destroyed just by seeing Brolen's face. Anyways, your dick stuff is starting to drip down, so I'm gonna clean myself. Be right back."
Tuly laughed in response. "Hahaha! That just means I'm a healthy guy."
Carol, who still couldn't get used to the level of 'freedom' of this world, felt obligated to ask Grisa something. "Errr... Grisa... are you not afraid of getting pregnant?"
"Pregnant?" Grisa was taken aback for a moment before laughing in response. "Hahaha! That's right. You guys are not from this world." Grisa then got closer to Carol before pointing at her crotch. "Let me give you some excellent advice. Star Energy is a very useful thing, and I mean it. You can simply focus your Star Energy in your womb, and it won't matter how many times their dicks shoot out the white stuff inside your womb. You'll never get pregnant."
Carol's face went as red as a tomato, but she nodded at the end. "I-I... see... Thanks for the a-advice."
Grisa patted Carol's head, finding the girl quite cute. "So innocent! I wonder just what kind of paradise your world was before. Well, to be honest, I don't know why Star Energy can prevent women from getting pregnant. However, it's a very convenient thing."
"Oh!" Duran had an idea after what he heard from Grisa. "That isn't hard to tell. Star Energy is something so strong that it can transform into different elements and be used for attacks. The white stuff from our dicks contains something we call 'spermatozoids' inside that stick liquid. Think of them as creatures so small that you can't see them with your eyes. They're very sensitive creatures too. With that said, when they're suddenly washed over by Star Energy, they all die. I believe the same goes for the woman's egg."
Lian and Carol nodded in agreement, having thought the same. "You're most likely right."
Grisa couldn't help but ask in response, "Small creatures? Now you've caught my interest. I'm going to wash now, though. Tell me more when I come back."
Tuly and the others were also curious. "We didn't know we had living creatures inside the white liquid. We only knew they were able to create babies."
Lian sighed after hearing that. "We will have to explain a lot of things to you before we reach the sperm part, though."
"No problem," replied Kavit, who had just arrived. "It will take at least two days to arrive at Ostalas Forest, so you can explain it to us on the way."
Later that day, Lian's group arrived at the north gate of Tume City. Sure enough, Brolen and the so-called client were there already. "Oh! Just in time."
Brolen introduced his client after that. "This man here is Senior Blan. He is a Star Apothecary. During this travel to Ostalas, you will be protecting him."
Tuly was quite impressed that Brolen would know a Star Apothecary. "Just how far do your connections go?"
"Hahaha!" Brolen laughed out loud in response. "Boy, you underestimate me way too much." He then looked at Blan and said, "Senior, Tuly has just become Level Three. That's why he accepted the price as he could also get used to these kinds of new jobs. For a place like Ostalas, his group should be enough."
Blan nodded, satisfied. "Considering the price I'm paying, I can't ask for much. I'm counting on you to keep me safe as long as it doesn't endanger your own lives."
Tuly agreed with him. "Sir has nothing to worry about. Now that I know I'm responsible for a Star Apothecary, I will definitely do my best to bring sir back alive without a single scratch."
Lian could not help but ask Grisa while the two were talking. "Are Star Apothecaries that important?"
Grisa answered in a low voice as she nodded. "They are. They're as rare as Level Three Warriors in our city. However, if you ask which one is more important, Star Apothecaries definitely take precedence. They're capable of creating medicines that greatly boost one's physical abilities. I heard rumors that some medicines are even able to help a Star Energy Warrior Level Up! You have no idea how respected they are."
"Is that so?" Lian was a chemistry teacher before, so he was quite interested in what Apothecaries could do in this world. Obviously, he wasn't an idiot. He knew that whatever the Star Apothecaries did, it definitely had Star Energy in the mix. "Do you think he would mind teaching me a little?"
"Are you crazy?!" Grisa asked back. "Star Apothecaries keep their methods hidden at all costs. Their medicines are so important for themselves that they would rather be tortured and die miserably than say a single word about their job."
Hearing that, Carol found it weird. "But... they have to learn it from someone, right?"
Grisa nodded. "Well, obviously. However, you would need to be accepted as a disciple for such a thing to happen. Also, it's not just the disciple status. I heard that Star Apothecaries would take several disciples and make them work until they sweat blood but wouldn't teach a single thing. It's extremely hard to be selected among the several disciples to be really taught how to make Star Medicines. Gaining a Star Apothecary's trust is very, very hard."
Suddenly, Tuly called their attention. "Hey, how long are you going to make Senior Blan wait? Let's get going already."
Blan then walked back a little before pulling over a Star Creature. It looked like a fierce hound but was much bigger. "You don't need to care about me getting tired. With my Little Cubi here, I should be able to follow your pace without a problem." It was obviously something that he had domesticated.
Grisa warned Lian and the others with a low voice. "Tuly is obviously trying to create a connection with the guy. Perhaps he will be able to ask Blan to make some medicines for us in the future, so try to not get into Blan's bad side, okay?"
Lian, Hira, Kavit, and the rest nodded. "Sure."
Blan stayed behind the group as Tuly and the others moved ahead. From the looks of it, Blan wasn't much in the mood to talk during the journey. Instead, he had some books in his hand as he read them. After having everything ready, they finally passed through the gate and left the city.
*Zush...*
However, it was at this moment that Lian's sight changed!
"What the hell?!"
In that single step outside the gate, everything completely transformed! For a moment, it was like he had instantly teleported... and reappeared directly back on Earth!
