"Your Highness, I apologize, but this is the first time I have seen a poison like this," a woman wearing an all-white robe bowed at Max. She eyed Eve, who was lying on the bed, her expression morose. "The snake looked like something common, but the venom was different. It was— I have never seen anything like that in the past."
"You— someone who dealt with sorcerers— blood sorcerers, to be more specific, does not know that a blood sorcerer hurt my wife?" Max asked, his face dark.
