"You shall not approach her," Queen Lativia hissed when her brother tried to walk past her.

In response, the Baron only chuckled. "Didn't I tell you? I only came because I wanted you. Now, calm down… look at the lines on your face."

"What lines?" Lativia immediately frowned. Then, she glared at him when she realized what he had just done. "You really are—"

"Do you not trust your brother?" Baron Liu asked, frowning.

"Are you seriously asking this question?" she hissed.

The Baron only chuckled, then walked past his sister. This time, Lativia froze. It was as if an invisible force was preventing her from turning around. A heavy pressure descended upon her, and for a short while, she could not breathe. After a few minutes, the pressure suddenly disappeared. Lativia staggered back. Luckily, one of her maids sensed the changes in their Queen's body and immediately helped her, preventing her from falling to the ground.
