Ethan

We had been staring at each other for so long that I think Demyan had concluded my silence was an answer. He shook his head and let out a frustrated sigh before he marched to the door barefoot, in my shirt, his jacket and his hair a mess then left the cabin after he banged the door shut.

I stood as still as a statue as I heard the Bugatti unlock and the door open. When everything he said hit me like a tonne of bricks I ran out of the cabin, "Demyan, stop!" He turned to look at me as he stood next to the car and gave me a tired look.

"What?"

"If I want to do this with you. This blended family, what's your plan with Malia? How are you going to tell her?" It was cold outside as you could see the condensation of my breath out of my mouth as I talked and breathed. Demyan looked barely affected though.
