Demyan

I pressed my lips together then ran my fingers through my hair. I was not completely sure how to answer Ethan but all the stress of the past two days suddenly made my face heat up. Maybe it was the hormones or the fact he was really handsome but I found myself near to crying.

His face completely fell apart, he rested his forearms on my desk then reached out for my hand. He held it tightly in his then beckoned me over. I stood and walked around the desk. He pulled me onto his lap with little protest from me and soon I was resting my head on his shoulder.

"You snapped on me in front of everyone," I whimpered then wiped away my tears.

"I didn't mean to, the clients I was having a meeting with were unreasonable. They wanted us to start from scratch and demolish everything we had done with a refund. I was just annoyed and I'm sorry I didn't explain it better, I was still stressed about the Wilhelm situation."
