Demyan

I pushed my nose into Malia's hair and deeply inhaled the scent of soft cinnamon and hints of mango. Her hair normally smelt like cherries and candy but I figured she had probably changed her shampoo sometime but I still loved it. I did not allow my heart to think about Ethan's that always smelt like the forest.

Ethan was the definition of those adverts for men. They always made no sense, a waterfall, the mountain range, forests, maybe a random hawk and snow falling. Most times I did not even understand how they wanted to convey that someone could smell like a mountain side and nature until I shared a bed with Ethan.

He smelt like all of those things because he was always outside. He smelt like dew on the grass on an early morning. He smelt the refreshing winter crisp air that both made your lungs painfully cold but also made you feel so alive. He smelt like the forest after a good day of rain.
