In the Arms of Love

When the pain pierced my body and blood gushed from the wound, my thoughts focused only on one person. I didn't think about the pain or what had happened to me. My heart longed only for her - for her warmth, for her touch, for her presence. Despite the pain that engulfed me, she was my only source of comfort. I knew that with her by my side, I could endure any trial, any pain. It was for her, for our love, that it was worth fighting for every breath, for every moment of life.
