POV:Chung Li An
The blinding neon lights of Mong Kok are all I see at the end of this dark alleyway. As I quickened my pace, I saw a man clothed in black steadily following me. He had been on my tail for a while now and I can't seem to get rid of him. As my heart raced and my breathing quickened, I reached into the busy Nathan Road full of tourists trying to get the cheapest deals available. I thought I lost the man. I should have, as today was the first day of the mooncake festival and many tourists from Mainland China had come to spend their week-long holiday here. As I walked in the middle of the street, dragging lalong my blisters covered feet, I noticed that many people were staring at me with their eagle-eyes. Maybe I shouldn't have brought my limited edition Hermés Ginza Tanaka Birkin Bag, a birthday gift from my father for my 16th birthday a month ago. And I also probably should have not worn my Versace bodycon dress or my diamond Tiffany and Co necklace.
Anyway, tonight's whole outfit was a mistake seeing the situation that I was currently in. I should really just call Mr Hu, my father's secretary, to pick me up somewhere around here. I can't believe I've managed to stand here in this busy street full of these discount grabbing peasants, without having to take a breather in one of the luxury malls! <roll eyes>. I walked to the side of the road by an alleyway, where it was much quieter.
"Hey Mr Hu, I'm somewhere in Nathan road being surrounded by peasants! Didn't you realise I disappeared from that Cartier shop hours ago?! Quickly come pick me up or I'll tell my dad to give you no pay for the next month! You have 5 minutes!"
I quickly ended the call and stared at the swarm of tourists in front of me feeling disgusted. I looked up at the night sky and could only see the neon lights of the many shops, hoping that Mr Hu could quickly come get me out of this hell hole.
An arm suddenly pulled me into the alleyway. I stumbled backwards and knew that the person that pulled me hadt accidentally pulled one of my precious 24 carat diamonds off my bag. A black cloth suddenly covered my mouth and I felt my world turn dark as I fell to the floor.
