Epic of Leviathan [REBOOT]

This is a Complete Re-Write of my original The Epic of Leviathan. You don't need to read the original one to read this. However, the story is going to be extremely different from the OG one. MC will have a different background and different powers. The CoverArt is provided by LordValmar and I really appreciate his help. This is a Fanfic... I don't own anything!!! All the characters except the MC and all the Worlds belong to their original owners ------------------------------------------------- A/N: First of all I want to declare that English is not my first language, so if you cannot overlook a few mistakes then this fanfic is not for you. I would have used the Neutral Evil tag if it was available, but it isn't. So, a fair warning, the MC will do pretty evil or Dark stuff. Don't complain in the Future. Last warning, in this fanfic some characters will have a different attitude from the canon or the original version so please note this warning before jumping into this. And finally, this is going to be a World Travel Fic... 1st World: My Hero Academia 2nd World: Yet to be Decided 3rd World: Yet to be Decided ------------------------------------------------- Thrust into a Fictional World, with no parents to support him. With enemies all around him, will he be able to survive, or will he be swept away? Will he be able to make a name for himself? Carve a place for himself in the cruel world or will he be remembered as nothing but a footnote in history? ------------------------------------------------- Discord Channel- https://discord.gg/zdUqAGKrkm

Building Something New (I)

"Is there a reason the cops aren't here?" I wondered aloud while the owner of the pub and the two guards were helping me load the bodies into a van. Thankfully, the Hookwolf wannabe guard was just knocked out and his injuries weren't anything severe. So, after one of the women patched up his nose, he was ready to move again.

"Most of the cops avoid messing with gangs since the nosy cops tend to disappear in these areas" The Hookwolf wannabe guard, otherwise known as Kimura Satou answered my question with a shrug.

"Really?" I asked with a frown. "The cops don't try to retaliate or anything?" I asked, sounding confused. I mean I could understand that the cops are afraid but there should have been some sort of retaliation from the higher ups right? Cops usually retaliate very strongly against cop killers, right?

There were some obviously some exceptions where it was impossible for the cops to enforce the law, but I never expected something like this in a country like Japan…

"Most of the cops who matter are already in the pockets of the bigger gangs and if someone is sent here to investigate then they disappear within the next few days or their families are held hostage until the cases are dropped. There was once a prosecutor who tried to fight back… His wife and daughter were burned alive in retaliation" Satou grimaced at the memory.

I decided not to say anything after that and simply continued our work in silence. "By the way, where are we taking these bodies?" I finally asked when he finished loading the bodies. Even when I was helping them load the bodies into the van, I tried to feel bad for killing so many people, I tried to feel something, but I couldn't. They were just nobodies to me.

Am I dehumanizing them unconsciously to ignore my trauma… No, I don't so. I never thought that they were anything but human, but no matter how much I agonized, I couldn't bring myself to feel bad for them… Am I missing something important? Am I a sociopath?

"There is a guy I know… He works at the nearby power plant. We will toss the bodies into the furnace and nobody will know a thing" The owner, otherwise known as Hayashi Ito answered my question while rubbing the back of his neck.

"Have you done this before?" I asked as we finally climbed into the van. It was a large van, we could even call it a mini truck if we push it and since I was still in my Dragon form, I decided to climb into the back since I didn't want to ruin the seats. It might have been Ito's van in the past, but now it was my van. There was no way I was going to ruin it.

"Yeah, quite a few times actually… Drugs are pretty common in Jaku City, so people collapsing from OD'ing (overdosing) is nothing uncommon. We had to get rid of the bodies to remove any tracks" Ito answered while chuckling nervously.

"You are awfully forthcoming with answers" I glared at him suspiciously.

"You are going to beat me otherwise" Ito pointed out and I had to admit, he had a point. "I would have loved to keep my business, not gonna lie, but I like to keep my life even more" Ito explained with a sigh as he lit up a cigarette. "Jaku City might look beautiful from the outside, but this city is really ugly on the inside" He sighed as he took a long drag from his cigarette.

"People like them-" He pointed at the two guards before pointing at himself "-people like me could disappear in this city and no one is going to bat an eye" Ito finished with a mirthless chuckle.

I see… This city is much worse than I had thought, but for the same reason, this place is probably the best place for me too…

"Tell me about your Quirks" I finally decided to change the topic.

"I can cause extreme pain in a person with my gaze" Ito explained without wasting any time.

"I can grow blades out of my body" Satou explained before I finally turned toward the last person in the van. I knew his name, but he was not that talkative, I think he simply wasn't a fan of me.

"What about you?" I asked while staring at the back of his head.

"I can shift my body through the plane. Honestly, I don't know how it works, but when I go to hit someone, I hit them and when someone tries to hit me, I dodge them" The man answered simply. So he manipulates the space around his body with his Quirk… I continued to stare at his back as a thought appeared inside my head.

"Jun, do you really want to work for me?" I asked. Yes, it would be a waste to let him go, but I didn't want to force a person to work for me. He might end up deciding to slip a knife between my ribs when I wasn't looking.

"My want has nothing to do with you. I have a family to feed, so I can only keep working for you" Kanae Jun answered my question. Right now, I wasn't using honorifics with any of them, but I planned to start using them after formally introducing myself to all of them. "Maybe, you could be a better boss than this asshole!" Jun snarled as he glared at Ito.

Ito obviously wanted to snap back in return, but just one look from me was enough to dissuade him from such a course of action. Ito was not a good boss… He was driving the club into the ground with his usual habits and foolish decisions, so it was obvious that the staff didn't like him much. The club was their only source of income and Ito was taking it away from them.

And from what I have seen, Jun was really dedicated to the club and its workers… That was probably why he didn't like me since I set the club on fire, but like I said, I wasn't the one to blame. Ito and his goons were the ones who should be blamed.

I needed reliable underlings and maybe, I could build something remarkable with them…
