U.A. Recommendation Exam.

{POV Ryuu.}

"You can say that, my Empress," I said in a low tone.

"Did you convince them to leave or was this all planned out?" I asked as we continued to press our foreheads together.

"Or better yet don't answer and let's just enjoy the moment." Mei hummed her answer as we continued embracing each other.

We continued our embrace for a couple more minutes before I gently put Mei back on the ground, as she reached out her hand with a small amount of embarrassment.

I smiled as I grabbed her hand and intertwined my fingers with hers as she responded with a flushed face, but with the happiest of smiles. We left the training area and headed to the entertainment room as we cuddled together on the couch and turned on the TV, with me the big spoon and her the little one.

"Why are you joining the hero course for U.A. High Ryuu? You've always thought that being a hero was ridiculous." Mei asked in a curious tone. Her question surprised me a little.

"They have the best training facilities for quirk training and I get to fight villains." I said as Mei slowly turned her head to look me in the eyes. I knew what that look meant.

"There's something that I have to do and the best way to achieve it is by being in the hero course. Plus, I think there might be something off about the number one hero All Might. I've noticed that the number of times he appears has decreased or his smile seems to be forced instead of his natural expression."

Mei continued to look at me for a few long seconds as she slowly turned back around as I hugged her from the back and brought her close.

"It's related to your ability, isn't it?" Mei asked and I hummed to say yes.

"I thought so. Me becoming your Empress wasn't the only gift as I made something to help you train your quirk better. I left them in your room, they're called High Density Weights, they're currently a prototype but they should help you train your stamina, and speed."

I was surprised by the gift Mei had created for me as I kissed the top of her head as we continued to cuddle on the couch and watch TV.

We continued to just relax until mother and father returned home.

Mother was especially happy when she saw how both Mei and I had become boyfriend and girlfriend. She even dragged father out of the room so that they could "leave the lovebirds alone" as they went to create an amazing birthday dinner.

I have to say mother made an amazing dinner as even more great news was shared during dinner.

Mother and Father had discussed and invited Mei to stay at our home until we both started U.A. High and was welcome to stay as long as she wanted after. But with separate rooms, that was a requirement from both mother and father.

There were two months until the U.A. High recommendation exam started as I had no time to waste. I needed to increase my strength and ability to the limit before the exams started.

Mei seemed to have it easy but when I noticed that she wanted to talk in the morning I knew something was up. She didn't seem nervous or scared but wanted to talk about something deeper.

I wondered what she wanted to talk about as I entered the training area and saw Mei stretching her small yet mature body. I continued to watch as she stretched, as did my lil bro as he tried to peak.

"Enjoying the show, Ryuu? And have you tried out your birthday present yet?" Mei asked as she finished her morning stretches and started to walk in my direction with a smile on her face.

"I did enjoy the show, and not yet I was waiting to use them until I started training in my roadwork." I said with a smile as I brought Mei into a hug and kissed her. She was surprised at first but melted into the kiss.

"You said you wanted to talk about something last night? So, what's on your mind?" I asked as I gently put Mei back on the ground.

I soon saw her face morph into a smile as she reached towards both of my hands.

Then I heard a 'click' noise and my body dropped to the floor like a sack of potatoes, almost cracking the floor in the process. I was surprised, shocked, and frankly amazed by the genius of Mei.

"I forgot to give you the other pair for your feet as it was supposed to be a complete set, but I'm glad I forgot," I heard Mei as she headed to the training room door and locked it.

"I'm just making sure no one will bother us. Now, what is your goal Ryuu? It can't be for further training as your ability is limitless it seems, so what is it? And don't bother moving. I made sure the weight was enough to keep you down until I got my answer." Mei said as she sat on top of my chest.

"Well for starters, your ass feels amazing. And I didn't lie last night, going into the hero course is the best way to achieve my current goal." I said as I looked Mei in her eyes and saw that she nodded her head.

"I know you didn't tell the whole truth Ryuu, but I won't get into it as it seems that it could cause me harm if I knew, correct?" Mei asked as I nodded my head in agreement and before I could say anything she stopped me.

"Then it seems that I'll have to work harder also, as you don't seem to be the type to stop after completing your goal so what comes after?"

There was a seriousness in her tone as the look in her eyes denied no lie.

"I want to create a firm foundation for the empire that I plan to build, that many that call themselves as heroes would not agree with. The one who everyone calls the symbol of peace is broken, shattered, and on the verge of no return" I said without hesitation.

"I plan to become my own moniker of Emperor."

Mei didn't even answer as she just continued to look me in my eyes before she slowly stood up and lessened the weight enough to allow me to train.

"Then I guess we have no time to waste then, Ryuu," she said as she walked back to her training area.

"Then what about you Mei?" I asked as I watched her prepare for a set.

"Simple, to stand by your side as you've done mine and become your Empress." She said while smiling.

Two months flew by faster than you could think with constant training and dates.

Both Mei and I made sure to take a breather every weekend to go on dates.

Mei was a very outgoing person as we went on multiple hikes, trails… oh, and of course cliff diving among various other similar adventures.

And let's just say my increase in strength would be enough to handle any B-ranked villain.

"How hard do you think the exam is?" Mei asked as we headed inside to take the exams, while watching a green haired boy struggle to take a step forward then trip over his own feet. To only be saved by a girl using her quirk to make him… float or become weightless, interesting.

"It shouldn't be that hard as it seems that the boy over there has a good chance of passing," I said before kissing Mei.

"But it seems here that we go our separate ways for now, and you should definitely pass." Mei nodded her head as we went to our specific destinations and proceeded with our own exams.

The room was packed with a bunch of kids with multiple different styles of quirks and mutations that made my own ability seem lacking, but the one who definitely made himself known was the announcer. Or better known as Present Mic, he quickly explained how the written, practical, and later the interviews worked and then left.

The written exam was rather plain and simple as it asked basic questions about normal things and other basic heroisms and being a hero which I passed as I've made more real heroes than this school.

The practical exam was an obstacle course filled with robot villains that we could either avoid or destroy. I destroyed every single one that stood in my way rather easily which surprised the other contestants and even some of the judges.

During the interview… sorry I don't even remember it at all as it was one of the memories that couldn't register, but I do recall them saying I should get a letter in about a week though. But the whole thing seemed to be a breeze.

I even heard talk of some kid one shotting one of the big robots saving another.

Leaving the building I found Mei next to someone who I haven't seen in a while, Power Loader. Who seemed to be leaving as I just finished my exam?

"So did you pass, anything interesting happened during the exam, oh Power Loader-san wants to take me under his wing…" Mei continued with a barrage of questions to which I gladly answered as we headed back home.

A week quickly went by as two letters arrived saying that both Mei and I were accepted into U.A. High. Mei was accepted into their Department of Support for Class 1-H, while I was accepted into their Department of Hero's for Class 1-A.
