Yang Feiyu twitched his lips as he pouted. "Duh...I wasn't expecting that. The way you were thinking, I thought you were going to come out with all details."
"I don't have any, alright? If you are so interested, go and see her by yourself but don't talk about her or that night in front of me!" retorted Qin Lixin.
Yang Feiyu wanted to provoke him more but stopped after getting interrupted by Xu Haotian and made the peace sign.
"Fine, fine! We won't," chimed in Xu Haotian as he noted the time on his wristwatch. "I don't have that much time, I need to go now." But before that, he turned to Liang Guohua, "You have hosted events previously, right? Then help me in checking out that am not going wrong with something."
"Sure." Liang Guohua agreed but then chuckled, "However, I can imagine your grandfather commanding in his authoritative tone to not take help of anyone."
"He did say that but he don't think you guys to be capable enough of giving good advice so it doesn't matter."
Though the four groups of families dealt with wholly different businesses, one thing still came out similar between them. And it was the thoughts they held for this group of friends. They were thought to be a bunch of friends uselessly and unproductively passing their time.
"What's the budget?"
"Of all the events, about half a million US dollars."
"Compared to other years, it indeed is less. You need to think smartly where to spend it. Don't go overboard."
Yang Feiyu understood the reason behind such a small budget, "It's the right time to impress your grandfather. He wants you to provide something worth quality in a small amount. Go for the event planners who could provide that in less amount."
"I would need to seek different caterers and event planners in that case rather than the ones our family usually have."
"Do that, if needed."
"Alright."
After they were done with the talk and were casually chatting around, Yang Feiyu remembered something and raised the matter to Qin Lixin. "Why did you ask us to meet here? If you wanted to have fun, we could have gone somewhere nice."
In an instant, Qin Lixin's expressions turned grave and he passed the hands through the hair, making it messy, "I might be sent abroad for the masters."
That surprised the three of the friends and they exchanged looks before meeting the troublesome eyes of his friends.
"Why you didn't say it before?" Xu Haotian curiously questioned. Qin Lixin was the type of man who would shift the problems of others aside and instead throw a tantrum about his problems.
Qin Lixin unambiguously answered. "I forgot."
"..."
Liang Guohua felt something amiss, "Suddenly? Hadn't you talked it through with your parents?"
It was hard even for himself to make out what happened out of nowhere as Qin Lixin uttered heavily, "I had, however lately, they again started pestering me. Mom has even requested grandpa to convince me."
"What would you do now? Would you go?" Liang Guohua processed the situation. It would be difficult to change the decision if both parents were involved.
"That's why I asked to meet. Give me ideas to get out of this problem."
"Change your parent's mind? Are you kidding us?" Yang Feiyu scoffed. "I can't say what you can do but I can give you the list of million things that you shouldn't do."
"But I don't want to go. I can't just agree to whatever they order me to!" Qin Lixin enclasped his fingers together and leaned his chin over it, his face shining with frustration.
"Don't they just wish for you to have the experience of a kind that could help you in managing the Qin Industries? Then start a company of your own and build it into an empire."
Qin Lixin sneered. "As if it could be done in seven months. I only have seven months before our graduation. I need to change their mind in this time limit."
Liang Guohua interjected right after Yang Feiyu's idea was rescinded, "Start managing some subsidiary of Qin Industries and bring good profit to it. Can't say about your mother, but your father might change his opinion."
"Even if I did that, it would be of no use. My parents would hand that over to someone else from our company and then would send me off. They don't want me to get into our business now. They wish me to learn from the companies which are on the top globally."
"Then wait till the last moment." Xu Haotian's face flashed with utmost sobriety as he mysteriously divulged them into his sentence while deeply pondering something.
As in flow, Yang Feiyu who assumed he already had an awesome plan asked out of enchantment, "Why wait till the last moment?"
He met eyes with each of them before looking out of the window at the far end, and slowly but strenuously spoke out, "We could plan a major accident for him to get into. That way, his tickets would be cancelled."
"..."
Xu Haotian was being given no expression feeling what he gave out a pressurising conclusion. "You need something major."
"As if it would be easier. Haven't you seen the cars of bodyguards moving around me all the time?"
Xu Haotian muttered after realizing things. "That's right. Being the only heir of the family having the largest number of estates in the country, you do get another level of privilege."
"That's a good idea but I don't think it would change anything." Yang Feiyu squinted his eyes and cocked his head slightly to one side.
"Why not?"
"Even if he got into an accident, it wouldn't change anything. His parents aren't running behind experience, they just need a world's prestigious university's name over his education."
"His parents want Qin Industries to enter the western market and bring it to global heights and that they had planned for the new generation, that is, Qin Lixin to carry out. They need eligibility related to the criteria of there. The accident could give him some more time but definitely not save him from their plans."
Hearing the correct analysis, Qin Lixin frantically nodded his head and then threw it back at the headrest. "Thats exactly what I've been meaning all along.
Yang Feiyu might be the one who tease him the most besides Xu Haotian but when it comes to serious situations, he was the one best at analysing them quickly and coming up with solutions.
"But that doesn't matter, his ideas at the end are still worst among us."
"Liang Guohua, race your brain. I have done my work, now the ideas are up to you."
Liang Guohua took his time before responding. "I think, we gotta change the mind of your father anyhow. Because once he becomes adamant about something, he never changes his mind. After that, he could handle your mother."
"How would we do that? He is not even here."
"We need to think it through. When is he coming?"
"In a month."
"What is the age at which you could inherit the properties legally?"
"Twenty-four in legal papers in case something happened to the current CEO otherwise I think my parents would make me next CEO if I completed my education from the university of their like by twenty-six. If not, maybe at the age of thirty."
"Fortunately, your parents don't have any health issues so we don't have to worry about the first case. The second case requires you to go abroad and somehow I think, it would be harder for you to return if the aim is to enter the western market. It could take years."
"And what remained is the last case, you wish for it, don't you? Let's focus on that to happen."
"Let's wait till the arrival of your father then. We need to learn his plans first."
