Chapter eight

" so annoying the principal called the meeting off" Casey said.

" Hmmmm. Ok then, bye" Ariana said as they parted ways.

" don't tell me she really fainted" Max laughed after hearing Ariana.

" Yeahh" Ariana chuckled.

" Hmmmm" Max breathed loudly. " What's better than laughing after dinner"

" Nothing" Ariana said looking at Max.

" You look very beautiful today" Max complimented going closer to her.

" Thanks. You look very handsome as always" Ariana also complimented also going closer to him.

     Right from when they were little kids, Ariana had always crushed on Max but Max only took her for a best friend and now they were this close.

" I like the way you say handsome" Max said in a very soft voice.

" I like the way you say beautiful" Ariana said in a softer and more romantic voice. They were now so close that they could now feel each other's breathe.

" I like you" Max said putting his hands on her waist.

" I like you too" Ariana said as she put her hands around his neck.

Slowly, they locked lips and started kissing. Ariana had waited for this moment her whole life. Having Max kiss her.

" His lips are so soft" Ariana thought.

" What's going on here?" Mrs Wilson walked in on them.

" Mum, I can explain" Ariana said standing.

" Explain what?" Mrs Wilson laughed. " You two look so cute together"

" We do?" Ariana was confused.

" Yeah. I know you're confused" Mrs Wilson said dropping her bags on the table. " Some weeks ago, I snooped and I found In your diary that you really liked Max and he also likes you so I decided to leave for some time so you two could get closer" Mrs Wilson explained walking to the kitchen.

" Did you know about this?" Ariana asked Max.

" Yeah" Max smirked.

" Awwwn" Ariana blushed as she went to hug her mum. " Thanks mum, I love you".

" Love you too sweetie. Well, I only came to pick up a few things. I'm leaving for Singapore. I have an urgent meeting." Mrs Wilson said rushing to her room.

"So, does it mean we're now official?" Max asked.

" Yes" Ariana said and they kissed again.

" Ok then. Bye" message Wilson pecked Ariana on the forehead as she rushed out of the house.

" Classic mum." Ariana thought.

" Hey, what do you plan to do for the weekend?" max asked.

" Well, I'll do anything my boyfriend wants me to do." Ariana said.

" Well, how about we go shopping" Max asked.

" Well, shopping it is" Ariana said.

" Ok, I'm off to bed. Good night" Max told her.

" Good night" Ariana said as they bade each other good nights and Max left.

" I should tell Beatrice" Ariana thought.

" Hi Beatrice, can you come over to the mall tomorrow? I've got something to tell you" Ariana sent the voicemail to Beatrice.

" This is so gonna be fun" Ariana giggled.

" It's almost like I'm her first boyfriend" Max said from upstairs after watching her for a while.

"Aaaaaaaaah" Ariana shouted as she woke up in the middle of the night. 

She just had a nightmare.

" What's wrong" Max asked rushing into her room. " I heard you screaming"

" They'll kill me Max. They'll kill me. " She was frightened.

" Here, have some water" Max gave her some water.

" Thank you" Ariana said after gulping the whole glass.

" Ok, it'll be alright. Just close your eyes and go to bed" Max said patting her on the head.

" No. I'm scared, they might come eat me." Ariana said.

" Ok, I'll stay here till you can get some sleep then I'll leave. Is that good?" Max asked.

" Hmmmm" Ariana said as she rested her head on his chest and closed her eyes.

" What a baby" Max thought.

    While Max was waiting for Ariana to get some sleep, he fell asleep and spent the night in Ariana's room.

The next morning,

" Ari, Ari" Max tapped Ariana trying to wake her up.

" Good morning" Ariana said getting off Max's chest. " I'm sorry about last night. I didn't mean to disturb" she apologized.

" It's alright" Max said. " I'll go freshen up" he said and left.
