RATE AND REVIEW

Ashley used her palm to touch her forehead to be sure that she hadn't being hurt from the fall.

" What are you doing?" She asked Casey.

" What am I doing? I should be asking you that. Aren't you ashamed of yourself?"

" What are you saying? You know me"

" I don't. Don't try to fool me, I don't know you but one thing I do know is that you're a liar and a cheat"

" Liar?" Ashley was confused, " how am I a liar?''

" Oh! So you think I wouldn't find out huh? You think you can poison my mind about my bestie? You should be ashamed of yourself" Casey said with disgust.

Ashley quickly got off the floor, " what are you saying? I told you the truth. Her name's not Ariana, her name's Becky and if you are you are to ask her, she'll tell you that her name is Becky" 

" Really? So all I have to do is walk over to her and ask what her real name is and she'll tell me it's Becky?" Casey asked, sarcastically.

" Yes. She'll tell you"

" Enough!!" Casey yelled. " I won't have you tell anymore lies. You don't even deserve to talk to me" points index finger at Ashley, " this is your last warning. Stay away from me and Ariana or you'll regret it" Casey said and made to leave but stopped at Ashley's next words.

" And what if I don't?" Ashley asked as she walked over Casey. " I lost Becky ten years ago because I left after being told to but that's not gonna happen again. I'm going to fight for her and bring her back into my life" she said and made to leave but Mariana stopped her.

" Where do you think you're going Ashley? If that's even your real name" she asked as she dragged Ashley.

" You have no right to question me"

" I do. I have the right to question any liar and.."

" Hey!" Ashley yelled as she raised her hand to slap Mariana but Casey caught her hand in time.

" You don't dare lay a finger on my sister" she said and pushed her to the ground. " I think we've been lenient on you. Maybe if we call the police, you'll know better than to lie and impose yourself next time" Casey said

Ashley quickly got up, " what has gotten into you? Earlier, you were willing to help me and now, you're treating me this way? Why?"

" I was a fool to have wanted to help you. What got into me? How could I have believed your lies?" Casey murmured as she paced around the room.

" Casey,I think you're wasting time. Call the police, they'll know what to do with her" Mariana said.

" You wouldn't dare. If you arrest me, you're just gonna get jailed for trying to separate a Mom from her daughter"

" I wouldn't have called for the police if you were really Ariana's mum. You're not her mum and you can never be" Casey said.

" Stop wasting time Cassandra, call the police now" Mrs Lambert said and Casey excused herself to make a call to the police.

Ashley thought hard, what could she do? She didn't have anything to prove that Becky was really her daughter. Was her daughter even going to be able to recognize her after ten years, would she accept her again, would she forgive her? And her husband, would he even listen to her?

All these thoughts ran through her mind as she stared at Casey who had just returned from her phone call.

" They're on their way" Casey informed them.

" Good. Now women like you will learn better than to impose yourself" Mrs Lambert said.

FEW MINUTES LATER..

" You have to believe me, Becky's my daughter and I'm her mother, I'm not lying" Ashley cried as the female officers dragged her out of the ward.

" Madam, you have every right to remain silent" an officer told her.

" I won't. My daughter is in there fighting for her life and you can tell me is to be quiet? Aren't you humans?" She cried.

" Madam,keep quiet or we'll be forced to take action against you" the officer said as they continued to drag Ashley.

They continued to drag Ashley until a commanding voice spoke, " hold on right there".

The officers turned to see whose voice possessed such authority and they saw a well built, handsome man who seemed to be in his mid forties.

He was clad in a black suit and he had his hand tucked into the pocket of the trouser,he looked smart.

" Didn't you hear what I said?" He asked coldly. " Let go of her, now" he ordered.

Ashley turned and when she saw who it was, she smiled, " Edward"

" And what gives you the right to order us around? I could get you arrested you know" one of the officers threatened.

He shook his head before bringing out a piece of paper from his pocket and throwing it at the officer.

" And what is this?" The officer asked as she picked it up to have a look at it.

" These are bail papers that I prepared ahead of time. Now let go of her" Edward ordered.

 The officer who was holding Ashley gave the officer with the paper a questioning look and the officer with the paper nodded in a way that showed that Edward was telling the truth.

" Let go of her" the officer said and Ashley was released.

" Edward!" Ashley called as she ran to him but before she could get to him, he stopped her.

" Don't move an inch" he told her coldly and she stepped back ward.

  Casey, Mariana and Mrs Lambert moved closer to eavesdrop on what was happening.

"  What are you saying Edward? Why shouldn't I come to you?" Ashley asked, tears welling up in her eyes.

" The name's Edward,not Ed and you lost the right to come close to me ten years ago when you left me and my daughter" Edward told her 

" I didn't leave you Edward, I...." Before she could complete her statement, Edward cut her off.

" You were enjoying your honeymoon with your lover right" he chuckled, " I never thought that after what you did to me all these years, you'd still have the guts to call me"

" I didn't leave you for a lover Edward, you have to believe me" Ashley cried.

" Oh really?" He asked as he shoved his hand into his pocket and brought out a picture before throwing it to Ashley. " Explain that"

Ashley picked the picture and looked at it. Immediately she saw the picture, she covered her mouth in shock.

" Where did you get this picture?" She asked.

" Oh please. Don't act like you don't remember sending me pictures from your honeymoon with your lover because I won't fall for it" he ran his fingers through his hair, " I know you're gonna deny it Ashley. I just know"

" You have to believe me, I didn't go on any honeymoon and this photo" she cried " this photo is edited"

Edward chuckled sarcastically, " come on Ashley, do you think I'm a fool? I had this photo and the others you sent authenticated so don't you dare tell me they are fake because they are not"

Ashley rushed and knelt before Edward, " you have to believe me Edward,I love you and only you. I didn't do anything" she cried.

" If you'd only hurt me with your promiscuity, maybe I'd have forgiven you. Maybe I'd have accepted you back into my life but you didn't. You ruined my daughter's life in the process, you made them take her from me and you turned her into a drug addict at the age of nine"

I need to address something, a lot of you have being asking why the Facebook name changed and I've explained it to you that the previous one( Star Macy) reached the limit of 5k friends and could therefore not accept anymore friends so I created a new account.
