Chapter 21: Summoning book

Will guides and introduces Sean to his residence on the top floor of the explorer's organization's HQ. The latter looks around in awe as they walk along the hallways, seeing the rooms and facilities for different kinds of purposes.

"Sean... do you remember him? I named him Cat.5..." Will opens the door of his office then promptly introduces the cat AI to Sean that the latter himself made for him three years ago. Will gestures for Sean to look at the center of the room so the latter immediately sees a black cat sitting elegantly on the table and looks back at them as if it was already anticipating their arrival.

"Of course..." Sean says hesitantly. Sean has very little impression of Cat.5 since he practically never interacted with it. That is also because he was more perplexed and preoccupied by Will's unusual behavior back then.

Sean's only impression of Cat.5 was the vivid image of Will dazedly cupping the small black cat with the size of a mouse in his palm while the cat also looks back at Will with nonchalant eyes. After that, Will has to go far away, bringing that small black cat and Will never mentioned anything about it ever again.

To be blunt, Sean forgot about the small black cat. But this doesn't mean Sean totally disregarded the cat's existence or the fact that he created it. He was just busy for his first time going to school and living his new life as a 'normal' boy that he only used to dream of before.

Sean is pleasantly surprised to meet Cat.5 once again nonetheless. It has grown so much from the pint-size form by the last time he saw it and feels quite delighted seeing that it has now turned into a big and proud adult cat.

Cat.5 looks at Sean with its usual nonchalant eyes, and then courteously nods. "It's great to see you once again master Sean... I didn't expect master Will to bring you so soon..."

"It's you..." Sean couldn't help himself but rub Cat.5's head. Sean always wanted to pet the cat AIs from the VR world but unfortunately, he couldn't. Now, he finally have the chance.

Cat.5's coat and ears slightly reacts to Sean's touch and it's amazing how they feel so real. The cat looks uncomfortably at Sean with its pitch black eyes and the latter feels absorbed in them like being sucked into a void. Sean thinks that Cat.5 resembles Will so much and it's too adorable for him to handle.

"Cat.5 has been my greatest asset in the organization. The organization grew this much because you made him for me, Sean..." Will puts his hand on Sean's shoulder as he look amusedly at the two's interaction.

But Sean who heard that couldn't believe his ears and freezes. He looks at Will and then realizes that the latter wasn't joking.

Will sees Sean's dumbfounded expression and can't understand the latter's reaction. Did he say anything wrong? What he said was the truth though.

Sean can't help but react this way because he actually feels quite guilty because of his insensitive slip of tongue that he even dared to make Will hear earlier when they were still heading for the elevator.

Sean's body shrinks quite timidly and looks at Will with genuine denial of what the latter said to him just now. "Will, if anyone deserve such credit and praise, it should be you... Nobody else could have been responsible and accomplished what achievements your organization attained. The explorer's organization only became what it is today because I know you planned it carefully and managed it yourself."

Sean was actually holding on to decipher Will's strange reaction when he mindlessly commented words reminiscent to uttering to Will that the latter probably based the idea of the explorer's organization to fictional works. After realizing what was wrong to what he said, Sean finally realize that he was extremely rude and must have hurt Will deeply. That explains why Will looked so troubled when he heard that earlier.

How could he even dare to still believe and have the audacity to compare Will to those rumors going around that the founder of the organization was influence by the 'guilds' in web novels, when he heard from Will himself how he came up with everything because he needs to save the world from an immanent dangerous and vile being lurking in the dark mountain. This thought made Sean feel very guilty all along so he couldn't accept and even reacted strongly when Will suddenly said that Sean himself have some sort of contribution to the success of the explorer's organization.

"Every good things and praise is the merit you deserve... and those doesn't even seem to be enough befitting your well thought out work and dedication..." Sean is too ashamed and couldn't find the right words to appropriately deliver his apology so he could only take back his words earlier in a runabout way.

Will couldn't utter a word and just listen and observe Sean's serious tone and expressions.

Sean continues rubbing Cat.5 and the latter finally starts showing reactions of feeling pleasant. "What I did before was something I never even thought deliberately. I simply did the favor you asked me to... what you said that I made Cat.5 must be true but what became of Cat.5 today is solely because of you and your ability. I mean, you already know the flaws of my ability. I couldn't have done such amazing feat... So, I'm sorry Will for blatantly denying your words because I honestly feel bad hearing this from you... I just don't think I deserve it. I don't know if my puny words would be something to be counted on but I sincerely believe that you did a very good job... If everybody else knows that the mysterious founder of the explorer's organization was you, and has a deliberate and underlying important purpose for the sake of the world, I'm sure you will receive a thousand times more praise and admiration..." Sean looks at Will with eyes of respect, and a hint of his apology.

Then, shortly after that, Sean turns embarrassed since he presumably oddly took Will's trivial phrase too seriously and talked too much. He then realizes that most of the things he blurted out was probably some fraction of evidence of his romantic fascination over Will.

Also, what Will probably initially meant to say was he was proud of Cat.5's feats and he was thankful for Sean for making it. Sean looks down and couldn't believe he blurted out so much that it turned out sounding exaggerated and embarrassing.

Contradicting all of Sean's worries, Will hearing all that and seeing Sean's sincere expression feels an incredible warmth in his heart. In all his hours, days, and months of hard work in founding and managing the organization, Will haven't had a single reward or praise. Instead, he received even more pressure from the GEPCA and the government. That's why, this should be the very first time he heard directly from anyone that he did a good job. Will never thought about it this way before. He was naturally driven by his duty, sense of responsibility, and his own will to protect those important to him. Will never even expected or waited any praise from anyone and craved for any rewards to begin with. But nonetheless, satisfaction fills his whole being for the first time and he can't express in words how happy and relieved he is to hear those words from Sean. It's like everything he worked hard on is now paying off.

Will unconsciously reaches out his arms and wraps Sean in his chest. Sean's softness, warmth and pleasant scents fills his sensations. Once again, he realizes how nice it is to have someone to embrace.

Sean could only stand there blankly when Will's face suddenly disappears in front of him while he was in the middle of a panic and then suddenly feels the latter wrap his arms around him. But he feels glad because this probably means that Will forgives him.

Both of them don't have any idea that everything that is happening now diverted so much to what really happened. Sean misunderstood that he hurt Will but the latter actually showed a troubled expression since he couldn't explain to Sean that the inspiration of the explorer's organization came from his previous world. Nevertheless, both of them now confidently believes that they understand the other. All of the misunderstanding stack on top of the other and become something indistinguishable from reality.

The two turns silent for a while and stands there, both absorbing each other's warmth. "Sean... are you hungry?" Will asks abruptly.

"A bit..." Sean replies absentmindedly. He is still muddle-headed but he is indeed feeling hungry. Both of them left the Ardent city without eating breakfast after all.

"Okay then, Let's go... I had the AI chef cook for us and prepare the breakfast earlier..." Will softly breaks from the embrace, still holding Sean's shoulders and looks at the latter's complexions. "I'll introduce you to your room later..." Will guides Sean to the dining room where the two of them smells wafts of the appetizing scent of the meal.

On the rather simple dining room clearly lit by the three lightings on the high ceiling and a few more smaller warm lightings on the wall, sits a medium-sized table in the center. On it are some few dishes vibrantly exhibiting ostentatious appetizing images.

On the center is the crockpot omelette casserole and two servings of fancy-looking crab cake egg benedict and there is also a pair Greek yogurt. There's some fruit like bananas and peeled pineapple for post-meal to help their digestion.

Will ushers Sean to sit so the latter excitedly sits on the chair thinking that this setting looks very much like a date.

Sean chuckles and displays his sweet smile. "Will I think you overdid it..."

"Well, I need to impress and make you feel cozy so you won't miss home. After all, I need you to live with me for a while..." Will says as he observes the gleaming face of Sean on the other side of the table. It seems like his plan is a success. "Perfect for breakfast..." he mutters confidently and then remembers. "although it's a bit late..."

"Yes it's perfect..." Sean honestly couldn't wait to eat it seeing its taunting and appetizing displays. His hunger only becomes more apparent.

Will gestures the other to start eating and he also starts as well. It taste as good as how it appears to be. Sean's eyes glimmer with pleasure. Gladly he managed to hold himself back from gulfing his plate in one go.

"Sean... I am guessing that you already know what kind of 'ultimate weapon' I was talking about..." Will says. Sean didn't ask much about this so Will is confident that the other already have a gist of what he needed to do and make.

Sean stops his hand and looks up at Will. "I have quite the guess... To summarize, the thing that we need to slay is something that couldn't be killed. You said that it will be purely made out of dark energy. It is highly intelligent despite it still developing inside an embryo. It lives in a cave and has the bats as its minions. Simply put, its an undead. A high rank undead with bat minions. A vampire? Probably right? I mean, the zombies already appeared before. Vampires are basically the higher versions of zombies that retained its intelligence and wouldn't rot. Do you think that thing could infect... I mean, that its bite could capture people under force subordination? Perhaps it could create its own vampire colony through some charms and blood arts?..." Sean appears to fall in pondering out loud with a serious expression.

Will listening to this feels quite intimidated to how accurate Sean's assumptions are. "Sean, you're right. It will be born as a vampire... the first vampire in the world..."

Sean feels glad that he hit the mark. "So basically, what we are going to make, is the 'saint' that could match it in our stead... A white or holy elemental being to counter against the vampire's dark elements..."

Will thinks about it and then nods in affirmation once again. He named it as the 'ultimate weapon' all this time but 'saint' sounds nicer.

The two finishes up their meal with fruits and then an AI maid comes to clean the table. Sean looks at it with awe. It has the basic limbs shaped like human hands but there are also additional pair of clamps. It moves on wheels and has a rectangular body. It's body is actually a washer as it put the used dishes in itself and then starts wiping the table with clean cloth.

"Practical..." Sean murmurs and compares the real one to the fantasies of the explorers. The explorer's version that they imagined was humanoid robot girl in maid uniform. Unfortunately for them.

Will brings Sean to the latter's room he prepared in advance. Surprisingly, the latter's stuffs are already here. They left them earlier when they switched to the common hover car. The invisible hover car automatically traversed back it's way to the HQ building's top floor and returned to its station in the balcony. Some AI maids took Sean's stuffs to the room while him and Will we're still eating.

"Sean, I have some stuffs to deal with... But don't worry, I will be back as soon as possible..."

"I'm fine. I'm not a kid, you know..." Sean smiles. "I also have to read through the compilations you made for me so I will be fine left alone..."

"Okay... " Will agrees and carefully observes Sean's expression. What Will basically wanted is for the latter to get rid of his precious summons after all. But gladly, Sean appears fine and prepared. His eyes are firmly resolved.

Will pat Sean's hair softly and comb them. He then left the latter and heads to his office.

Will sits on his chair and then realizes Cat.5's eyes glaring at him intensely. "Is there something wrong?"

"Did you receive my reports?... I need to confirm that. You were probably too preoccupied to know what is going on to the GEPCA and the government... The world council has finally been established. Did you know how I borrowed your identity to attend the very first council meeting right after you left?..."

"Good for you. I'm sure you made the right decisions... I want you to keep it up." Will says nonchalantly.

Cat.5 release a sigh. "Remember your new position now. You have been appointed as the ninth chair. You are now one of the ten powers that can influence the whole world... the rest of the members not included to the top ten can only wait orders from the latter. Do you know how important this is? You are now more powerful than the government. I already severed our ties with the GEPCA and become an independent organization free from any countries' control... But the thing is, the timing of your 'vacation' has made me suspicious..."

Will stops his movements. "Who proposed such an absurd thing as the ten chairs?... This is so far off from my calculations... although this made it so much easier for me so I should thank them instead..." This is too good to be true that Will can't believe it.

"You're not denying that you left all of this on me?..."

"Yes, now deal with it... I was pretty sure that we will receive more unfavorable treatment once the world council is finally established. Our country still don't believe me or the fact about that 'thing' in the dark mountain completely... "

"The most powerful and rich companies and organizations all carried each other's shoulders to push the 'ten chairs' through... the government depended on them so much during the apocalypse so they have the most arguments to say. Then, the fact about your achievements and strive for countering 'that' thing in the dark mountain finally broke the last string. The country's control and fear for your power backfired. Almost all the members were terrified about the dark mountain and was angered to how much our country have been stalling your operations... Those cunning executives of the large companies took this opportunity to flip their power scale in one go. They put their hands together on the table to show everyone their contributions to the world. There were also so many weak and defenseless countries who could only stand because of their presence so many vouched for their success so that they could receive protection..."

Will listening to this still couldn't believe his ears. He contemplates for a while and then finally convinced himself that this really is happening. "I see... everyone is so desperate... but I couldn't have figured that I have so much allies... so, what's the hierarchy in the ten chairs? Who are the members?"

"You humbled yourself too much and became too absorbed by the plan you made three years ago. I always thought that something like this would happen considering the situations to the rest of the world... You've become short sighted." Cat.5 grins and shows his fangs at Will. It must be trying to show a smile or something. "There's no hierarchy within the ten chairs. Every chairs have a say regarding decision that will impact globally and then choose via voting. The chairs are titles that could be passed on to another power through voting when some situations arise the need to do so..."

"But now I believe the globe is focusing their attention to the dark mountain and what I could do to stop that 'thing' lurking within..."

"That's right. They are keeping an eye on you and will lend their hand the best they can in one call... But every chairs also have matters they are assigned to..."

Will heaves a sigh of relief and could feel some burdens finally lifted off his shoulders. Now that he don't have to answer to anyone, he's finally free from any shackles and can act smoothly. Will stands up abruptly.

"Does this mean that those contracts with the government and GEPCA are all now ineffective?..." Will asks to confirm. Cat.5 confidently nods.

Will's face beams with gratification. "I need you to handle all the matters of the organization and keep an eye to the members of the 'ten chairs' or something... I want to give all my focus to the creation of the 'saint' and eliminate the final headache that has been throbbing in my head all this time..."

"I understand..." Cat.5 conceded with a sigh and then promptly starts checking the systems and transactions in his networks.

Will walks out of the office with light steps and heads to Sean's room with a bright outlook for the upcoming days.

In a neighboring country inside the Clark main family's manor, the head of the family looks at his son in-law at the other side of the room. "Bring him back no matter what... if you do, I might forget the fact that the pup I raised and groomed with my own hands become an ungrateful hound planning to bite the hand that fed him all along..." Sergio Clark's sharp eyes and words seems to spark with malice directed to the other.

"I will do so chairman..." Alaric Wendell Clark bows his head deeply in front of the chairman. His eyes sharpens with resentment, hidden from Sergio Clark to see.

"Scram..." Sergio Clark utters this one word and then the other turns and leaves the room.

Alaric Wendell Clark leaves the mansion with resentment hidden beneath his face plastered in a calm expression and arrives in the Clark enterprise CEO's office. He sit on his chair and then removes the cuff from his wrists and then loosens his tie to somehow ease the stress and frustration that are psychologically strangling him. He rubs his temples with his hands that are popping with veins and eyes the wall sharply.

"Call Steven..." CEO Alaric Wendell Clark orders his secretary and the latter promptly leaves the office.

In only under an hour, his son finally arrives alone. Just right as Steven Clarks enters the room, he was grazed by a pen Alaric threw at him. Steven was initially shocked but then walks towards his father's table calmly as the narrow cut on his left ear starts peeking red blood.

"Father... did I do something wrong?..." Steven composedly asks the man on the table.

"Didn't I tell you to keep a close eye on your mother? How did she manage to reach the chairman and spout nonsense? Now, that ungrateful old man is accusing me of planning to hoard and steal that useless son's shares!" Alaric breaks his calm front and burst his anger in front of his son.

"Grandfather? He now knows about my brother?" Hearing what his father just said, Steven becomes thunderstruck with both fear and confusion. He then collects himself and immediately apologizes. "I'm so sorry father, I didn't know how mother did it... I was careless, I have no idea she was capable of that... I was busy with a film production this year and..." Steven stops explaining himself when he spot his father's irritation and realizes that the latter didn't want to hear any excuses.

"This is your mess... go get your brother yourself. The family in temporary custody of him was quite stubborn and troublesome to deal with. They wouldn't give him back unless a family member takes him back... I will forget about this mess if you retrieve him and manage to convince the chairman that we never mistreated him... Do whatever means necessary..."

"Yes father..." Steven can only relent to his father's pressure. Steven himself is very busy with the ongoing and upcoming film productions for this year and the next. But this is his father's order, and his father is notoriously absolute.

Steven leaves the office and promptly prepares for departure. He can't help but think that his family has become even more chaotic ever since the apocalypse. "Mother... what have you done?..." Steven murmurs.

Steven's mother, Selena Clark was an A-listed award-winning actress. She severed all her ties from the Clark family after making a pact with her father, Sergio Clark to let her be free to be whoever she wanted to be in exchange for marrying her stepbrother.

She was the only child from the Clark family's major household and many other family branches covets to raise and obtain the highest authority to both the family and the family business so her father did whatever he can to stop that from happening. No matter what, he can't have someone else kick him out of the throne and steal it from getting passed down to his direct descendants.

He did whatever means he can to continue his last name and legacy. He adopted the young sharp Alaric Windell who has a high potential aptitude to his family to raise and cultivate him himself. And when the time came when his daughter ultimately announced her will to walk a different path in life, he made her marry the stepson that he cultivated just for this moment.

Selena Clark finally becomes free, she set her own path herself and actually managed to successfully climb the entertainment world with her own talents under a stage name. She protected her past and real identity with the help of her entertainment agency so no one knew the fact that she was already married and actually have two sons. She embrace her fame and success that she obtained all by herself just like what she always wanted.

Back at the Clark family, Alaric Windell finally became someone solidly and authentically part of the Clark family in general sense now that he can bring forth the Clark main family more direct descendants. Thus, earning his step father's confidence to give him the CEO position in the Clark enterprise.

The Clark main family is only bond with greed and selfishness. Selena Clark and Alaric Windell Clark have no love for each other. What they have is mutual benefits and a hollow marriage.

However, after the apocalypse and the new era commenced, Selena Clark's entertainment company plummeted to the ground and ultimately bankrupted.

Her son, Steven Clark himself started the Clark entertainment company and was already successful in the industry. His company has produced multiple award-winning big screen movies that became big hits and sensation to multiple countries.

Selena Clark could only return back to the Clark family and ties herself to her son's successful entertainment company. No matter what happens she can't let her career and stardom end any time soon.

She takes advantage about the fact that her own son owns the entertainment company and started acting conceited. She demands unreasonable treatment and wanted everything in the company to work according to her desires and benefits. Steven Clark obviously can't just let his mother be so he stopped and reprimanded her several times. That's probably the reason why she manifested the diva that she is and becomes more and more prickly these days. She even started sucking up the her estranged husband and demanded to 'discipline' their son, Steven for 'disrespecting' her.

Obviously this also didn't work because her husband, Alaric Windell Clark has even more important duties and matters to handle. He just don't have time and patience to pamper her selfishness and obviously hates her acting this way.

Selena Clark's selfish return created a strong blast within the family and finally turned it into a tornado bringing chaos to everything as it was proven today. All this mess falls down to Steven's head and shoulders as if bathing under his families waste and grimes. His father is blaming him for letting his mother reach his grandfather and the latter finally now knows all about the existence of his brother that his father desperately want to cover. Steven was always beside his father so he naturally knows how he thinks and what he is capable of if his goals wouldn't get realized.

"I didn't know that she would fawn and curry favor to grandfather... I thought she still hates him... how shellfish could she be?..." Steven Clark clutch his hands tightly on the steering wheel as they tremble. His family composes of nothing but selfish and apathetic demons. "Sean..." Steven Clark mutters his little brother's name. Until now, this name still brings pain to his heart.

His father erased his brother from the family and desperately hides him far away because he consider him as his weakness and failure. If the chairman learns about the second son's weak body that he inherited from the Windell blood, the chairman would definitely be disappointed in Alaric and might even replace him.

Steven haven't seen his little brother all this time because he couldn't do anything to help him anyway. Also, its much better for his little brother to be away from his family as much as possible.

But for some unknown reason, Selena Clark suddenly brought this matter up to the chairman. Now he knows the existence of his hidden second grandson and wanted him back to the family.

"I'm sorry Sean... I have no other choice..." Steven mutters in frustration and hopelessness. He can only pray that a miracle happens to Sean and make him able to flee somewhere far away so that he won't be able to find him. It's also very much preferable if there is someone to keep and protect him.

Steven worked so hard to keep all attention of his family to him so that Sean will be forgotten and somehow excused even of they happen to find out about him being sickly and weak. But now, it's beyond his and his father's power to hide him any longer.

Steven cooks up a plan to delay his fathers order without making the latter feel suspicious and notice his plans. He needs to find a way to protect his little brother from getting caught in the hands of his disgusting family and help him live a normal and peaceful life.

Sean in his room is mulling over himself over which utilization method he should switch his ability to between the lists of compilation Will made for him. Not knowing how his household has become even more chaotic and obnoxious.

"As expected. The first one attracts me the most. Will must have put it at the top of the list because he knows that. The 'summoning book'..." Sean mutters.

Will thought up about the concept of the summoning book ever since he saw how Sean developed and settled the utilization of his ability. With this idea realized and integrated, Sean's ability would manifest in the form of a book made out of the crystallization of his energy. The very pages would be filled with images and descriptions of the summons, engraved with the signs and figures etched and painted with the inks of the very same properties and elements of what his summons are physically made out of and the natures of their abilities and skills that they are supposed to have. With that, Black, Blue, and Green's energies could be recycled once they are integrated and merged in the form of the summoning book. This essentially means that the summons's spirits would be encoded into the pages of the book and they could be brought out into the world any time by Sean's call.

With that, Sean's summons would lay stagnant in the summoning book unless they are called upon. This means Sean wouldn't have to worry about losing his control over his ability because he would simply need to 'imagine' the book as it is. An inanimate object. There's also the advantage that Sean could call any numbers of the exact same summons as much as he want to and now could also add more kinds and types of summons that he could think of to fill the summoning book's pages as it grows.

But sadly, this means that Sean's current summon won't be able to accumulate 'memories' and experiences as they get reset after every summon. The purpose for this is to set a defined level of their strengths that Sean would immediately be able to determine. They wouldn't grow on their own and make the pages become unbalanced and lean to one side to the one Sean would always summon. With this, Sean would always know the exact pros and cons to each summons and create battle plans and combinations to which summons could work together to solve a situation.

"I could just keep a summon with me at all times" Sean mutters. Of course, Sean know himself better so he could make some adjustment from Will's plans. Will noted that in every list in the compilations himself. "Okay... I will go with this..."

"You choose the summoning book? As expected..." Will says beside him. This surprises Sean because he never knew when the other has returned.

"You were too absorbed in it so I couldn't bring myself to bother you... did I startle you?..."

"I'm fine... " Sean releases a breath. "You came back so soon?"

"It turns out, I was called because of a good news and don't need to waste more time to settle any matters... more importantly, I want to stay near you and observe so I can assist you whenever you need." Will says enthusiastically.

"The summoning book's description is so precise and I also have initial impression about this concept so the image of it is so vivid in my mind... I think I can manage to do it smoothly." Sean says confidently.

Will smiles and feels glad to hear this. "Then, I will just watch you do it..."

This event brings back memories. Will was there too when Sean made Green and Blue in the latter's room three years ago. He was the one who gave Sean the two options about how the latter could utilize his ability and that was also around the time when Will and Sean had the very first match in the VR world. Now that Will think of it, what made him challenge Sean in a match that time was probably mostly driven by his jealousy towards the latter. He didn't know any better then but now that he do, it was actually quite an embarrassing move.

"Okay..." Sean agrees. He takes in and out deep breaths and calm his mind. Black, Blue, and Green lines up respectively horizontally in front of him. He observes them and absorb their images one last time and then utters one word. "Thank you..." Sean finally found the right word to say to them.

First, Sean imagines the book cover. Black's ability to breath concentrated heat beams flows out of him and whirls in front of Sean, then, it calms down and forms a rectangular shape. Next, Green's abilities to enchant, heal, conjure barriers, and create mirage flows out of him and fills the rectangular shape into a detailed object. Then, Blue's whole body defuses and turns into a thin rectangular energy that enters between the book cover as the very first page. In this page, Blue's programming and 'story' are engraved into images, words, and every letters and figures that fills it neatly and easy to read. there are some leftover energies and they turn into empty pages.

Then, it is Green's turn to disintegrate his physical properties back into energy and becomes another page filled with his images and descriptions. And then lastly, Sean looks at Black with eyes glittering, moistened by his tears. The dragon nods back at him, telling him that it's okay. Sean slowly closes his eyes and then make black return back to the imaginary friend only he used to see before, and then, that too disintegrates into energy and transform into another one of the pages.

When Sean finally opens his eyes once again, the three small summons was no longer there and never even left a single mark on the floor. As if they were never there to begin with. Then, a thick book falls on Sean's hands.

Sean takes in a large breath and holds it in for two seconds, swallowing his guilt deep inside and then release the breath with a new resolution and new prospect view for the future. In the end, no tears fell from Sean's eyes as his they turn resolute and motivated.

Will sitting beside Sean raise his arm over Sean's shoulders and grab the latter close to him. Wordlessly saying to the latter that he did a good job.

Sean unfolds the summoning books' cover and sees Blue, then he flips the page to see Green, and then flip it to finally see Black in the third page. Sean trace his fingers on Black's image and skim through the words that describes him.

Will sees Sean's expression and puts his hand over the latter's and then guide it to flip to the next page. "An empty page, and a room for more..." Will says as softly as he can.

Sean smiles weakly and nods, feeling Will's warm palm over the back of his hand.

Will don't know how to appease someone who is sad so he searches his mind for the best word to say in this situation. Sean really loves his summons as if they were his friends and family so maybe this is what he needs to hear. "Sean... I don't know if this will make you feel better but let's make our family..."

Sean's whole body tingled with goosebumps so abruptly that it feels like an electric shock.

End if chapter.
