POV: Ash 

Location: Northern Empire

The stars above us twinkle with the air surrounding us humming with dark energy.

Umbra walked to the giant hole in front of us, for over ten minutes she was infusing something in the hole with mana.

What could it be? She is probably planning to summon something into this world.

"Lula" I whispered, "What is the closest direction to the Dark army branch HQ?"

"Forty-five degrees north-west," she answered, her butt resting on my right shoulder.

With my eyes carefully observing the lineup of thirty witches behind Umbra I continued, "We escape to the branch HQ, we don't fight unless we have to,"

Lula nodded, her eyes fixed on Umbra and her underlings over twenty meters from us.

"Three, two, one," I whispered.

After the last count, Lula flapped her wings intensely and we flew upwards at ninety degrees, gaining as much distance from the ground surface as possible.
