Chapter 2: A new planet, A new life.

As Umbra had crashed into the earth, a group of people who were still surviving went to see what had happened. They were curious about the sudden impact and wanted to know what had caused it.

Among them was Elizabeth, who had been tirelessly working to find a cure for the virus that had ravaged the world. She had heard the news that something had crashed into the earth and decided to go and investigate.

As Elizabeth reached the crash site, she was amazed by what she saw. There stood Umbra, bathed in a radiant darkness, a being of pure dark energy. The sight of Umbra filled Elizabeth with a sense of wonder and fear. She had never seen anything like it.

Umbra recognized Elizabeth and welcomed her with a mean smile. He explained to her about his transformation and how he had been banished to the darkness.

Umbra continued to explain to Elizabeth what was happening in the world and how God had been sealed away by his son, Adam. The rebellion had caused a rift in the universe, and all seven beings had been forced to disperse, each taking a piece of God's power with them.

Umbra had been sent to the darkness, banished and virtually forgotten. But now, with his transformation, things were changing, and his energy had become an integral part of the earth's renaissance.

As Elizabeth listened to Umbra's story, she felt humbled at the magnitude of what had been happening. She realized now that the virus had been the first sign of the unraveling of God's plan and that everything happening now had been foretold in the prophecies.

Umbra continued to share the secrets of the universe with Elizabeth, including the fact that she was one of the seven keys that could undo the seal that Adam had placed on God. Along with giving her the power of creation, Umbra also gifted her with a fragment of the divine spark, which could unlock the seal.

Elizabeth was both shocked and elated at this revelation. She knew that unlocking the seal would be no easy task, but she was determined to fulfill her destiny.

Umbra also warned her about the challenges that would confront her. He explained that there were still people in the world who wanted to prevent the seal from being undone. The journey would be perilous, but if she was successful, it would result in the restoration of the universe.

Umbra sensed that the earth was about to explode. Without hesitation, he teleported Elizabeth to another earth-like planet, one million light years away.

As Umbra and Elizabeth landed on the planet Odon, they were immediately attacked by a group of bandits. The bandits were heavily armed and seemed determined to take whatever they could from the two travelers.

Umbra, sensing the danger, unleashed his dark powers. His eyes glowed with a menacing light as he chanted an ancient incantation. The darkness that emanated from him was enough to drive fear into the hearts of the bandits.

In a matter of seconds, the bandits were defeated. Their bodies lay strewn across the ground, lifeless and still. Elizabeth watched in horror as Umbra unleashed his powers, unsure of what to do.

As the realization of what had just happened dawned on her, Elizabeth dropped to her knees in shock. She couldn't believe that Umbra, the being she had come to trust and depend upon, had just killed so many in such a violent manner.

Elizabeth was left in shock by Umbra's actions, unable to comprehend why he had chosen to kill the bandits with such brutality. She couldn't help but wonder what had become of the being she had come to know and trust.

With her heart heavy with sadness and confusion, Elizabeth turned to Umbra and asked him why he had to resort to such violence. She expected an apology or an explanation, but instead, she was met with a cold and callous laugh.

Umbra's laughter grated on her nerves, and then he told her something that chilled her to the bone. He boasted of being the creator of darkness, a being of immense power and strength, one that she should be scared of getting too close to.

Elizabeth couldn't help but feel a sense of betrayal. She had put her trust in Umbra, and he had let her down. His words made her realize that she had been playing with fire and that getting too close could only lead to her getting hurt.

From that moment on, Elizabeth kept her distance from Umbra, unsure of what he would do next. She couldn't help but feel that he was a being of immense power and darkness, one that she wasn't sure she could trust anymore.

As Elizabeth and Umbra continued walking, they eventually came across a small village. Elizabeth breathed a sigh of relief, glad that they had found a place where they could rest and get some necessities.

Elizabeth turned to Umbra and voiced her concerns, telling him that they needed a place to stay, food to eat, and new clothes. She knew that these were basic needs, but they were important to their physical and emotional well-being.

Umbra listened intently and nodded his head in agreement. He knew that Elizabeth was right, and they needed to take care of themselves before continuing their journey.

With a wave of his hand, Umbra chanted a spell and turned some nearby leaves into gold.

As he did this, Elizabeth watched and was amazed at Umbra's power. Despite his dark nature, she couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude to have him by her side.

As they rented out a beautiful house in the little village, the people thought that Elizabeth and Umbra were a newlywed couple. Despite Elizabeth's protests, the villagers insisted on offering them gifts to celebrate their union and welcome them to their community.

Umbra was reluctant to participate in the charade, not wishing to form attachments to anything or anyone. But Elizabeth saw this as an opportunity to strengthen their cover and ensure their safety, as outsiders in an unfamiliar place.

So, when the villagers congratulated them on their marriage, Elizabeth decided to play along. She thanked them warmly and happily accepted the gifts, much to Umbra's annoyance.

He was about to reveal their true identity when Elizabeth pinched him, reminding him of the importance of fitting in for their safety. Umbra, although a little resentful, realized she was right and decided to go with it to avoid causing any unnecessary attention.

With a resigned sigh, Umbra agreed to go along with Elizabeth's plan for now. They settled into their new life and began to explore the village and its surroundings, all while keeping a low profile to avoid attracting unwanted attention.

Two weeks passed, and Umbra had gathered a lot of information about the planet. He shared his findings with Elizabeth, informing her that this planet had four great kingdoms.

Umbra explained that the kingdoms were ruled by powerful leaders who wielded immense influence and commanded powerful armies. They were not to be trifled with, and anyone who crossed them risked facing dire consequences.

As they discussed the kingdoms, Elizabeth realized that their quest might not be as simple as finding the creators and restoring balance to the universe. The quest had become rooted in politics, power struggles, and intrigue.

Umbra tried to reassure Elizabeth that everything would be fine since he was stronger than all the kingdoms combined. However, Elizabeth knew deep down that they couldn't rely solely on his powers and strength.

Despite this, Umbra shared some of his past with Elizabeth, including how he and his siblings had despised God and waged war against the divine creator. He spoke of the immense power and influence they wielded, as well as the terrible consequences of their actions.

Umbra explained to Elizabeth how he and his siblings had rebelled against their father, God. The war had been brutal and devastating, and as a consequence, their father had sealed them away for eternity.

But with his father's recent seal breaking, they had been set free. Despite all the pain and suffering they had endured, Umbra harbored no resentment towards his father and understood why he had taken such drastic measures.

He knew that their rebellion had threatened the very balance of the universe, and their actions could have consequences that lasted for eternity. He had come to terms with his past and had realized the importance of his duty to help restore balance to the universe.

Umbra's past reminded Elizabeth that everyone has a past and that sometimes it's necessary to make difficult decisions for the greater good. She couldn't help but admire Umbra's resilience and strength, despite all he had been through.

As they continued talking for a while, Elizabeth got up and headed towards the kitchen. Umbra watched curiously, not quite sure what she was doing.

"What are you doing?" he asked, genuinely interested.

"I'm going to make us lunch," Elizabeth replied, smiling.

Umbra looked at her skeptically, unsure of her cooking skills. But Elizabeth was determined to show him that she was more than capable of handling herself in the kitchen.

She began to rummage through the pantry, pulling out ingredients and various cooking utensils. Despite her lack of experience, she was determined to make a hearty meal for both of them.

As she worked, Umbra watched intently, fascinated by her determination and effort. He couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude towards her for taking care of them in this way.

Once she finished preparing the meal, they sat down together to eat.

As Umbra took a spoonful of the stew Elizabeth had made, he coughed and sputtered, realizing that the food tasted horrible. Despite this, he smiled and told Elizabeth that it was the best food he had ever eaten.

Elizabeth beamed with pride and thanked him, but Umbra knew he had to be honest. "I appreciate your effort, but I think it's best if I take over the cooking from now on," he said with a grin.

Elizabeth nodded understandingly, relieved that she wouldn't have to subject Umbra to another taste-test. They both laughed at the situation, enjoying the moment of levity amidst their serious mission.

Umbra got up and took over the kitchen, he prepared a delicious dish that they both enjoyed. Elizabeth was amazed at how skilled Umbra was in the kitchen, and they both savored the meal before them.
