Natalia laughed and motioned Penny to sit down. She said, "I couldn't have put it better."
Three days had passed since the day Aria told her parents about Penny. Aria had been reading in her room for half an hour after she had lunch. She had wanted to spend the day with her sisters but they were nowhere to be found after breakfast. So Aria had spent the morning with her mother. But her mother took a nap after lunch and Aria nothing to do. Her sisters had not even turned up at lunch and nobody in the family seemed to be bothered by it. So Aria used this time for reading. She finished the book she was reading and closed it with a thud.
"Ohhhh I'm so bored today. I want to play tea party with Beth and dress up with Julia. Where are these two?" She muttered to herself as she got up.
Aria had been restless this whole day and could not sit at one place any longer. So Aria got up and thought, "I'll go see if mom is awake. If she's not, maybe I'll go down to the forest to train."
She planned out the afternoon as she walked towards her mother's room. The bedrooms of the three girls were on the fourth floor whereas their parents had their chamber on the third floor. As Aria climbed down the stairs, she bumped into Cora.
She asked, "Hey Cora, have you seen my dad?"
Cora: "No, Miss Aria. But I just gave milk to Madam, maybe she knows where Master is."
Aria: "So mom's awake? That's great. Thanks Cora. Say, is Penny with my mom?"
Cora: "No Miss Aria. But I did see Sebastian enter the Madam's room as I left."
Aria's smile faded upon hearing Sebastian's name. Penny might have forgiven the man, but Aria had definitely not. She walked towards her mother's room and just as she was about to reach the door, she saw Sebastian coming out with a very ugly expression on his face.
Aria called out, "Sebastian, leave the door open for me, will you?"
Upon hearing her voice, Sebastian hurriedly changed his expression to one of a very bright smile as he stood there with the door open. He closed it behind Aria as she entered the room.
"Hmmf, I don't trust the man one bit. His expression changes faster than a chameleon changes it's colour." she thought in disdain as she walked upto her mother.
Upon the sight of her mother sitting on the bed sipping milk, Sebastian was flown away from her thoughts as she ran upto her mother.
Natalia: "Hey Aria, you seem to be a little bored today."
Aria: "Not a little, I'm a lot bored. I cannot find either Beth, or Julia."
Natalia: "Now now my angel. They're both busy today."
Aria: "Busy with what?"
Natalia: "You would not want to join them even if I told you."
Aria humped, "Okay fine. But I'm still bored."
Natalia: "I would play with you my angel, but I'm still really sleepy."
Upon hearing her mother's statement, Aria hurriedly jumped down from the bed. She said, "Mom, your angel learnt to fly. See."
