You wish to leave the academy?

The man looked at Aria and said in a stern voice, "Follow me."

Then he began to walk, but Aria stood rooted where she was standing. After walking for about five steps, the man turned around and thundered at Aria, "Did you not hear me? I said follow me."

Aria could tell that he was angry, but she still said, "Sorry, but I do not know you."

The man walked back towards Aria and stood like a tower in front of her. He said, "What?"

Aria: "I said, I do not know you, so I cannot go with you."

The man made no response as he seemed to be trying to suppress his anger. He said through gritted teeth, "You will not obey me?"

Aria: "I will decide after you introduce yourself."

The man suddenly turned around and walked towards a door, opened it, and left the entrance hall, without another word.

As Aria was contemplating what to do, she heard the door through which the man had gone open again, and was a little relived to see Professor Iris.

Professor Iris approached her and said, "Aria, follow me."

Aria was a little confused, but still followed professor Iris. After they walked through the door she had come, Aria was in a room that seemed to be staff room. Inside, were Miss Anhao, the head nurse, Professor Iris, the stern looking man and Aria.

Aria stood there, waiting to see what this was all about.

Professor Iris: "Aria, you refused when Professor Samson here asked you to follow him."

Aria looked at the stern looking man. So he was also a professor.

Aria turned towards Professor Iris as she said, "I did not know who he was." Then she turned to Professor Samson and said, "I'm sorry for talking to you rudely."

Professor Iris went on, "And you also left the recovery ward this afternoon without the head nurse's permission. And refused to listen when she stopped you."

Aria now looked at Miss Anhao. She said, "I'm really sorry Miss Anhao. I was in an angry state and really needed time to be alone to cool off."

Miss Anhao held her head as Professor Iris said, "So you had reasons for doing everything you did? Huh."

Aria: "Of course. I never do anything without a good reason."

Professor Iris: "And do you know the consequences of your actions?"

Aria shook her head.

Professor Iris: "What if I was to say that you were going to be expelled for the indiscipline you showed in the academy?"

Aria: "I personally do not think there was anything so wrong with my behavior. But if you do, I'll have no other way than to accept your decision."

Professor Iris: "You know that you will not be able to learn bending if you are expelled?"

Aria: "I do not believe that bending is learnt anywhere. It is out connection to the elements, and we only learn how to polish it further at the academy."

Professor Iris: "So you believe that being expelled and not being able to study here will have no effect on your bending?"

Aria: "It will certainly hamper my progress."

Professor Iris stared at Aria for a long time before she said, "So you wish to leave the academy?"
