Who were the two people?

Aria nodded, "Yeah. The past few days have been hectic. I took three exams this month so I had to prepare for them too. So I haven't been down here."

Susan was surprised. "You took three exams!?!? How did you do on them?" she asked.

Aria waved her hand, "I passed. Anyway, what did you want to talk about?"

Susan smiled and started walking towards the forest, "Walk with me?"

Aria did not reply but fell into step with her. The two walked in silence until they reached a particular spot on the edge of the forest.

Aria frowned as she looked at the floor. "Susan? What did you want to talk about? I've got to get ready too. Otherwise I'll be left behind." Aria spoke, still frowning at the floor.

Susan: "Oh, you're going back to your village?"

Aria shook her head and looked towards the castle, "No. It's Joseph's birthday tomorrow. Joseph Scott. I'm going to his and Helen's home."

Susan replied with an oh. Then, seeing Aria tapping her foot in what she thought anticipation, she spoke, "Actually, I'm a bit short on money this month. And I was wondering if....."

Aria's face broke into a smile. "That was what you were worried about!!!" she exclaimed.

"Don't worry. Though I did send most of my money back to the village, but how much do you need?" Aria asked, still not looking at Susan.

Susan scratched her head, "As much as you can spare. And Aria, do you mind me asking something?"

"Not at all." Aria replied.

Susan: "From where do you get money anyway?"

Aria chuckled, "I sometimes go to the city during the Sundays or when I don't want to attend classes. There I earn money by helping out at the shops."

"Oh." Susan replied as Aria began to walk towards the castle, "Anyway, you stay here. I'll be back with the money in a bit."

Saying this Aria walked a few paces and then flew off.

Aria frowned as she flew towards the castle. "Who were those two? Did they know Susan? Why did it seem like they wanted to see me?" Aria mumbled to herself.

She shrugged and flew on.

Susan stood fidgeting at the spot for a few seconds before two men jumped out of the trees and joined her.

"Did.....did you get a look...????" Susan stammered.

One of the man punched the air, "No we did not!! That bi*ch clearly is the queen's daughter. She knew we were here and not once did she turn her face towards either of us."

"Then.... it's true!!!!!" Susan gasped.

The second man, who seemed to be more level-headed, spoke, "Well it's clear we won't be getting another chance. So, what can you tell us about her?"

Susan stammered and spoke, "Well, she has long golden hair."

The first man shook his fists at Susan, "We could see that!!! Tell us something else!!"

"Well.....well she likes to wear pants!! And she's going to the commander-in-chief's mansion today."

"Pants!!" The first man roared but the other one stopped him. "Why is she going to the commander's mansion?" he asked Susan.

"She's friends with the son and the daughter of the commander. She's going to attend the son's birthday ball." Susan said.
