By the time Professor Iris was done with the story, Miss Anhao had already examined Helen, who Aria had helped sit on a bed and was now holding a cup of hot chocolate in her hands, sniffing occasionally.
And Jacob, whose wounds on the face were patched up, but was still held firmly in Aria's earth grip.
Professor Thomas turned towards Jacob and then to Helen. He looked angry. His face was dead serious. He looked more serious than Aria had ever seen him. That was, of course because she wasn't awake when he had wounded her and was the most serious he had ever been in his life.
Professor Thomas said in a grave voice, "Helen, Jacob, come with me."
He then turned towards Aria and said, "If you would be so kind."
Aria relaxed herself and the earth went down to the floor, the exact way it had been before.
Professor Iris seemed surprised, "You weren't using your hands!!"
Aria smiled a small smile as Professor Thomas said, "And Aria, Joseph, can I ask you both to run an errand for me?"
Hearing this, Aria and Joseph both turned to look at Helen with worried expressions, Jacob bending over her, persuading her to drink the hot chocolate, claiming it would help.
Professor Thomas followed their gaze and said, "They both will be fine. Now, if you both will be so kind, run along to Professor Moon and tell her the fights are adjourned for today and then tell the students who were fighting me and Professor Iris that too. And after that, I'm sure you would both like to go off to lunch very much."
Aria and Joseph glanced at each other before they both flew out of the window, at the same time and the same pace, leaving the adults in the room shocked.
After they did what Professor Thomas had told them to, Aria and Joseph headed for lunch in the west hall.
To Aria's surprise, Joseph took his lunch and sat down with her at her's and Helen's table.
Aria and Helen usually ate together, and Joseph and Jacob with their friends respectively.
Aria looked at her plate gloomily as she picked a slice of bread apart with her fingers.
She looked up at Joseph, to see him staring at her fingers.
Joseph looked up and said, "What's wrong?"
Aria: "What's up with you?"
Joseph was a little taken aback, "What do you mean?"
Aria: "How come you're eating with me?"
Joseph: "You can hardly call what we are doing eating."
Aria rolled her eyes, "Let me rephrase. How come you're sitting with me today?"
Joseph looked down at his plate, "I felt like you could use the company."
Aria also looked down and smiled a small smile, "Thanks."
She then looked up, "What do you think is going to happen? Professor Thomas looked really angry."
Aria was really scared. Though she had pulled many pranks during her stay in the castle and had been caught many times, her pranks had never really hurt anyone and all she had suffered were minor scoldings and sometimes mild punishments.
Joseph: "I've seen him angrier."
