Aria had flown to the South tower. She very cautiously flew around the windows until Aria located Professor Thomas's office's window.
Aria was more cautious now than ever. She hovered in the air near to the window, placed her hands on the wall just beside the window and peered in.
Inside, Aria was relieved to see Professor Thomas sitting with his back to the window. Less chance of being found out. Her eyes then fell on Helen, sitting opposite Professor's desk fidgeting with her hands. Aria's eyes wandered over to a man sitting beside Helen, with a stern face and very dark blue eyes.
He was looking down at Helen, his lips pressed into a thin line.
Presently, the man sitting beside Helen spoke, his voice deep, like the growl of a lion, "This was not expected of you Helen."
Aria was suddenly startled by a hand on her shoulder. She stopped herself from screaming or punching and turned around to see Joseph, leaning close to her.
"What's happening?" He whispered.
Aria pointed towards the window and then looked in again. Joseph leaned over her and also looked in.
But as soon as Joseph looked in, he gave a startled cry. Three heads inside the office snapped in their direction. But luckily, Aria was quick to put her hand over Joseph's mouth so that his next words came out all smothered. She then quickly flew upwards, her hand still on Joseph's mouth, and they both landed on the roof.
Aria peeked down, hoping nobody had noticed. She saw Professor Thomas leaning out of the window, looking left and right, then down. "It was the right decision to fly up after all."
Aria muttered to herself as she sat down with a thump and glared at Joseph, "If you only came to get me caught. I suggest you go back."
Joseph was still a little shaken as he said, "Sorry. I'm sorry. It's just that....."
Aria crossed her arms.
Joseph: "That was my father in there. I was startled to see him."
Aria sighed, "I know that. But tell me something, why did you react that way? It couldn't have been only surprise to see your father. You've come from your home barely a week ago."
Joseph shook his head, "It was a little surprise. But mostly..." He put a hand on his forehead and sighed, "Our father is really strict when it comes to misbehaving. At least with me. Helen hasn't ever gotten into trouble ever, so I don't know what he will do."
Aria stood up, "Whatever he will do, we won't be there to see it after what you did. Now come on, let's go."
Joseph looked up, surprised, "Where?"
Aria pulled him and made him stand up. She said, "We're going to pick up Jacob and then go plead the right way."
Joseph was flabbergasted as he pulled himself from Aria's grasp, "Plead? The right way?"
Aria's face turned dark. Her great aura that usually escaped whenever she was angry started to gush out, "Are you coming or not?"
Joseph was so afraid that he stood rooted to the spot. He was torn between wanting to keep out of trouble and wanting to help his sister. Then there was also his father's anger on one side, and Aria's on another.
