Smiling stupidly at Aria

Aria: "So it's true then."

Joseph: "What is true?"

Aria let out a dazzling smile, "What the person is like inside, he sees the whole world in the same way."

But Joseph had not heard her sentence. He stared like transfixed at Aria.

Joseph snapped back into reality when Aria said as she straightened up, "There."

Still smiling, Aria turned around to join the other students. As she was walking away, Joseph noticed a white handkerchief in her hand, there were some stains of blood on it.

His eyes fell on his forearm, the bloody cut on which had been wrapped in a blue handkerchief.

Apparently, while Joseph was zoning out staring at Aria, she had cleaned his arm and wrapped it up neatly. Joseph touched the handkerchief on his forearm that smelled like fresh grass and earth after the rain, the exact smell that had tempted Joseph to open up Aria's hair the first time they had met.

Joseph looked at the girl walking away, her white shirt wet and sticking to her body, golden hair in a ponytail, swaying lightly in the breeze. He had a stupid smile on his face as he touched the handkerchief again, thinking that it was good that he had gotten injured.

Aria walked back and took her place in the line. She looked at the flower in her hand that had been given to her by Professor Thomas.

Aria spent the next hour trying to bend wind with her will, trying to make the flower fly.

But it was impossible. Aria's shirt had dried from the water from before, but now it was drenched in sweat.

Aria looked up to find out that only one more person was left before her. She quietly pocketed the flower and sat down to rest and regain her energy.

Bending the elements came as naturally as breathing to Aria, but she had never tried them without using her hands. It was an impulse to use hands.

"But if I can bend without using my hands, this skill will come quite in handy. Ahh.... what's the use. Maybe my will isn't strong enough?" Aria thought as Professor Thomas called the person in front of her to fight.

The girl was wearing the short ocean blue dress. She had dark sliver, or light black, whatever you wanted to call it, hair, which were halfway down to her waist and tied up in pigtails.

The girl excluded confidence as she walked upto Professor Thomas and took her stance.

But before the fight could begin, the bell indicating the start of lunch sounded.

Professor Thomas straightened up as he said, "That's the cue for lunch. Silver, we will continue after lunch, I would very much like you to be at full power."

The girl called Silver also straightened up as she smiled at Professor Thomas and headed towards the castle. Many of the other students also headed in as they had heard that they would be continuing after lunch.

Aria saw Professor Thomas sit down on a piece of log and mumble, "Either these youngsters are getting too strong or I am getting weak. I cannot tell for sure. But what I do know is that I am getting too old for this."

Aria smiled upon hearing this as she headed off to find Helen.
