In a bright mood

Aria rubbed her nose and said, "I was thinking of dropping by the library and taking a book."

Joseph slapped his forehead, "Nerd. You need to get out of books and get a life."

But even as he said that, Joseph had already begun to walk towards the library.

Aria caught up with him and asked, "Wouldn't it be easier if we flew there?"

Joseph flicked her forehead and said, "Don't tell me you are that dense. We're not allowed to bend in the castle except during classes or in our towers."

Aria remembered that it was the same in the fire academy and nodded her head. It would be really troublesome for everyone if the students would fly around using wind, bend earth out of shape, splash each other with water, or burn things. It would be complete chaos.

Aria returned from the library with Joseph and they flew from the foot of the tower to their rooms. As they landed, Joseph said, "It's great that we can bend wind. Walking up all the way would be so tiring and time-consuming."

Aria smiled and said nothing. She waved goodbye to Joseph on the door of his room and headed towards her room.

The next day dawned cloudy and gloomy. But Aria's mood was the complete opposite of the weather. She got up nice and early and threw open the windows. Aria let the wind come in and enjoyed it for a moment before going to the bathroom to freshen up. After she was done, Aria came back to her room, wore her uniform, the white shirt and blue pants.

Aria had to ask for a new uniform to be made, as her previous one was ragged and torn, with patches of blood in many places. And she had worn it only for one day too!

Aria enjoyed the wind some more as she brushed her hair. It was tedious work, and Aria missed her short hair. After she was done, Aria decided to let her hair open today. She fitted a hairband on her head to keep her hair out of her eyes and looked at herself in the mirror. She wore white shoes and walked out of the room.

Though Aria had gotten up early, bathing and dressing with one hand only had taken up most of her time. She came out of the room and headed for the west tower. She knocked on Helen's door and Helen's voice came from inside, "Who is it?"

"It's me." Aria said.

"Oh Aria, come on in." Helen's voice sounded a bit relieved.

As she entered, Aria saw why. The zipper of Helen's dress was stuck halfway, exposing half of her back. Helen said, "Oh thank god it was you Aria. I do not know how I would have gotten out of this otherwise. Could you help me?"

"Of course." Aria said as she walked over, unstuck the zipper and zipped Helen's dress properly.

Helen turned around and said, "Thank you so much Aria. It would have been really embarrassing if I had to ask Jacob for something like this."

Aria sat on Helen's bed and said, "See. This is why I wear pants. They are more comfortable and easy to handle."

Helen chuckled as she picked up her comb, "Say Aria. I feel like doing something nice with my hair today. What about you? How did you style your hair today?"
