I wonder how they all look now

Aria was startled and looked towards the source of the voice, which was Lady Scott's maid.

"Is that you Liza? Is something the matter?" Helen spoke.

Liza bowed and said, "Mistress is calling you Miss Helen and Miss Aria. The dinner bell has already rung."

"Oh okay. We'll be right there." Helen replied as she stood up and walked upto Aria with the help of her maid.

"Aria? Let's go." she said. The words brought Aria out of the surprised shock in which she had been standing.

Aria gave one last look to the mirror. She smiled and said as she took Helen's hand, "Yeah. Catch me if I fall."

Helen chuckled and the two exited the room.

Despite what Aria had said, she carried herself quite well. The maids were surprised as they watched the two girls walk side by side ahead of them. One wearing a yellow dress and hair in a bun, the other in a bright blue dress with her hair in in a braid, decorated with flowers.

One could hardly tell that one of them was a simple girl from a village in the outskirts.

If anyone had to guess, they would probably had said Helen. Though she looked the perfect royal lady and was as beautiful as Aria, the latter had suddenly assumed an aura that anyone who sensed would have no doubt that she was a royal.

Aria hadn't noticed how proud and dignified she looked. Her mind was filled with the thought of what she had just seen in the mirror. Aria was very surprised at how accurately her subconsciousness remembered the faces of her family, even though she couldn't consciously remember them for quite some time.

Her heart was filled with contradictory feelings as she walked along. On one hand, Aria was ecstatic to remember her family's faces, she could clearly see their faces whenever she closed her eyes.

But on the other hand, Aria was disappointed at not being able to see the latest addition to her family. She was also a bit gloomy as she wondered what all of them looked like now.

A smile formed on Aria's lips as she imagined what everyone looked like now. She had no doubt that Beth had grown up to be the greatest beauty in the whole kingdom and was the most elegant lady that owned the hearts of many men of the kingdom.

Aria almost chuckled upon imagining Julia still playing pranks on everyone in the castle, and running in the forest to escape scolding, her blonde hair flying in the wind. Though Aria could argue that Julia must have grown a lot more mature in the company of Beth.

Aria's eyes turned soft as she imagined her mother commanding the servants in the castle, preparing for one event or other. She would definitely look very elegant and sophisticated in a traditional dress and her face more wise with the passing years.

Aria could almost see her father, sitting in a corner with a book in his hands. He would cross his legs and a fatherly smile appear on his lips as he gazed at his family over the book, all lively and gay.

Aria barely had time to form an image of her grandfather, though she could not imagine how he could age any more than when she had last seen him, when a voice commanded her attention.
