Did they find out?

"I shudder to think what has happened here for a child to get such specific burns. Plus, she's exhausted herself using bending for way too long. Though she will recover and be fine, I'm afraid she's gonna have those scars forever."

Mr. Scott pursued his lips and spoke, "She saved my daughter. I'm going to do all that I can for her. Come on." Saying this Mr. Scott personally lifted Aria with his wind bending, taking extreme care of her fractures, and flew her back to the Scott mansion with frightening speed, leaving behind his men to follow.

In the academy recovery ward. . . .

Aria woke up and blinked a few times to see clearly. She lifted her hands to rub her eyes, but dropped them back because they hurt. She stared at her bandaged hands and slowly the memory of what she had gone through with Flame came into her mind. She shuddered and tried to remember what had happened next, but it was all still blank. The only new memory she seemed to have acquired after she went back to sleep the previous night was herself coming out of her rage and getting a glimpse of Vincent's face before it was a blank again.

Aria wondered what had happened after she had probably fainted as she looked around. There was already light enough in the recovery ward, but what Aria found weird was that no one was there to see her. Usually, the place would be full of her friends coming to see her whenever she was in the recovery ward, and Helen and the others went far enough to spend every one of their free moments in the ward with her.

She shuddered as a horrible thought passed through Aria's head. "What if people saw me when I was in a rage? They would have seen me using all the elements!!" It would explain why she seemed to be the only person in the recovery ward. She was probably being held captive until she woke up and could be questioned.

The more Aria thought about it, the more this thought seemed to make sense. Everything seemed to fit in perfectly with this theory of her's. The eerie silence of the ward, her being at the academy instead of the Scott mansion, Mr. Scott of course wouldn't want a monster around his children, the absence of Miss Anhao, her friends and basically anyone, and the closed door of the ward, which Aria had never seen closed before.

Just as Aria was mentally saying goodbye to everyone she had come to care about in this kingdom and planning her escape, because she knew this was her best chance to escape, before anyone knew she was awake and they threw her in a place with high security, Aria heard voices from outside the recovery ward.

She frowned and strained to listen, and Aria's heart almost burst with joy upon hearing Helen's voice. She could also faintly make out Miss Anhao's voice, but what were they talking about? Aria decided to use wind bending and began to listen in on the conversation outside, all her plans of escape suddenly forgotten.

Outside the door. . . . .

Helen: "Just let me in Miss Anhao. I'll be very careful."

Miss Anhao: "I know you will be child. That's why I let you in everyday. But today. . . . "
