Aria's popularity

Aria half walked, half ran until she caught up with Victor. Upon hearing the sound, he turned around and his face broke into a fatherly smile as he saw Aria. He said, "Hey there. Someone is looking really pretty today. Wait, that's not right, you always look pretty."

Aria laughed as she linked arms with him and they walked, Aria holding the bucket of water and Victor holding his fishing equipment.

Victor: "So, why are you up so early today?"

Aria: "That's not fair father, I'm always up at a good time. It's not my fault that you guys like to defeat even the sun in waking up." Aria rolled her eyes.

On the way, they met many people and walked on, greeting them.

Some people asked Aria to come by later as they needed some help, some asked her to fetch something that they had prepared for her. But all of them praised her and said that she looked really beautiful. Aria bowed and greeted each of them and promised to come to their home as soon as she got the time.

Victor: "Someone's really popular."

Aria scrunched up her nose, sniffed around and said, "I smell something burning. Turn around father, I think it's you."

And Aria ran ahead after saying this as Victor came behind, shouting, "You little brat!! Wait, once I catch you I'm gonna....I'm gonna....Oh why do I even bother." He said to himself as Aria ran out of view.

Aria ran for some time and stopped when she could no longer see Victor. She walked ahead with a smile on her face. "I spy with my little eye, hair that are as golden as the sun and girl as beautiful as an angel." Suddenly someone called out from the direction of her right.

Aria turned her head and rolled her eyes as she let out a laugh. "And I spy with my little eye, an idiot." Aria said.

"Don't be so mean, Aria. I was complimenting you." A boy, about 17 years of age walked upto her.

Aria crossed her arms, "Jacob, do you really believe that I need your compliments?" She asked.

Jacob raised his hands in defeat, "Fine. You're going to the bank?" He asked.

Aria began to walk and said, "Yup."

Jacob walked alongside her, "Where's Victor?"

Aria: "Oh, I left him behind. He walks waaayyyyy to slow."

Jacob chuckled, "You really are ruthless, Aria."

Aria changed the topic, "Are you going fishing too?"

Jacob: "Yeah. I had nothing to do today, so I thought might as well get something for dinner."

Soon they reached the bank and Aria filled her bucket. She sat and watched Jacob fish as she waited for Victor. Jacob was easily the best bender and the most desirable boy in the whole village.

He was tall, used to have a fair skin but it was now pretty tanned. He had blue eyes which were of a little deep colour than the rest of the people in the village, meaning he was more powerful than them. He had dark brown hair and was really handsome. Aria was the only girl to have ever laid eyes on him and not be mesmerised by him. He was also polite which made him all the more desirable.
