Old Hag

A young boy around six years old can be seen sleeping on a bed and starting to wake up.

"Where am I?" The young boy said as he looks around the room.

"Hey you, you're finally awake why were you in the forest?" A middle aged women asked as she walked into the room.

The boy looked at the women with a glare "Who are you? Why did you take me from my family?" The asked.

"I'll answer your question if you answer mine why were you in the forest." The middle aged women said.

"Fine old hag. I was in the forest because I was abandoned there and my real family are there."

"Abandoned? How old were you?"

The boy put his hand out and started counting on his fingers

"I was 2 years old, old hag." The boy said with a smirk.

The women had an annoyed face

"2 years old that's young…what do you mean real family?" She questioned.

"My real family hehe the wolves and other animals of course." The boy said with a massive smile.

The women looked at the boy then asked another question.

"Hey boy, are you an awakener?"

"Huh? What's that? Can I eat it." The boy said with a massive grin thinking about how tasty it could be.

"No it's not food an awakened or awakened humans are people who have special abilities for example super strength or wind manipulation" The women explained.

"Cool!" The young boy said with stars in his eyes "But sadly I don't think I have an ability isn't it normal to be able to talk with animals?"He asked with curiosity.

"No it isn't normal that boy is your ability it could also be much more then just talking with animals though." She said with a smile.

"So old hag can you answer my question now?" The boy asked.

"Sure." She answered.

"Why'd you take me from my family." He asked with tears in his eyes.

"Erm *cough* I didn't take you from them a wolf carried you near me then ran away."

"So they abandoned me too." The boy quietly said.

"I don't think they abandoned you the wolf that carried you to me seemed very sad." The women said.

"You sure?" He asked

"I'm sure. Anyway since you got no where to go I'm taking you with me."

"What? You can't do that it's kidnapping old hag." The boy said.

"It's not if I adopt you." She said with a grin.

"How are you gonna adopt me?" He asked.

"I have my ways hehe." She said with a sly smile "Oh yea if I'm going to adopt you I'm going to need your name I can't just call you boy can I?

"My name is Ash." He said.

"Well then Ash my name is Athena."

"Okay name Old hag."

"Call me old hag one more time boy."

"Old Hag!"

"How am I a old hag I am at the prime of my youth 32 is not old at all."
