Eldritch Empire

Waking up on a strange planet completely alone was not Karl's desire or plan to ever do it, even less as an eldritch being. Now Karl will have to explore his new home to find out where it is and how to progress as a cosmic horror. AU: The cover is mine. Mine are only OC, I don't own anything. How does the average resident see MC? (short chapter)

(Alleverida POV)

Reviewing the latest reports sent by the fleet, Alleverida smiled to see that the system had been scanned and tagged. Although she had seen notes that these were only obvious signs of the presence of intelligent life. Several of them have already considered ideas on how to solve such a problem in the most cost-effective way. Some advocated the use of large-scale bombs like those used in previous wars of conquest.

Alleverida stopped what she was doing for a moment as she sat in front of her desk, the holographic displays paused on an image of a battleship firing at the enemy fleet with neutron spears mixed with other weapons such as plasma beams and rails. She paused as she glanced at the other wall of her room, seeing a painting she had bought from Nazzadi who painted in his spare time, it was a painting depicting the true form of the Great Father.

The picture was good, especially considering the detail put into the picture and how there seemed to be dozens of little points of interest. The Great Father was in true form, not as mortals see him, but in true form that would drive any mere mortal to madness.

Alleverida smiled at that. Their creator was skilled and with the power of his skills forged them out of nothing, giving life to what was originally lifeless. Many tried to turn their great respect and admiration for him into something more, which was not surprising because many already silently worshiped him, treating him as a divine being. Honestly, it just seemed… It felt right to think of him that way, something that became easier to accept over time when they saw his great technical skills, his prowess with a blade or magic, and his ability to lead and command.

Many wanted to use all this to lay the foundations for a real, official religion with him as the central icon of the faith. To be honest, Alleverida really liked the idea, but she was more worried about the shape it would take. They knew the Great Father, they knew about his disinterest in any religion because he considered himself greater than all the gods, he preferred to say what he needed to do and get out of the way, his speeches, although short, were impressive, and his choice of weapons and armor was always was good.

Suddenly, Alleverida was snapped out of her thoughts when she saw that it was her deputy, Regeida, standing on the other side of the command post with an innocent smile on her face. Smiling back, Alleverida watched her friend approach her.

The Nazzadi didn't care too much about looks, only the ability to fight and protect, they considered physical fitness to be attractive along with normal physical attractiveness and personality. For humans, meeting a girl would take you out to lunch, for Idat, Nazzadi and Wildgirl, a normal date was hanging out at the gym or sparring with each other, even combining weapons and experience on the battlefield. Alleverida and Regeida quickly bonded over their favorite weapon techniques and drinks after a good fight, occasionally sparring with each other even if Regeida held back quite a bit.

Today, as she watched her friend approach her dressed in unusual battle armor. Nazzadi cared very little about the state of the other's clothing, especially since bathing together was part of their society and nudity was not taboo.

"Our scans have analyzed the location of all significant military installations and nuclear silos." Regeida said.

"What is the technological level of civilization?". I ask

"Civilization corresponds to the technological level of the 1950s on Earth". Regeida answers

"Then initiate order 444, launch our kinetic missiles at every important military site on the planet. After the bombardment, land our troops. We will conquered this weak society in the service of the Creator" I order

"Right away, captain," she replies and goes to carry out the order.

As I watch her go, I can't help but think about this planet. As the Great Father gave Brigothea's natural satellite Thaz, Glenni and the nearest planet Vertaig to Henoria to rule in his name. Perhaps if we conquer this planet quickly, father will allow me to rule this planet in his name.

The next chapter will show how the empire conquers the planets. The chapter after it contains the perspective of what happens when a biomechanical Empire ship eats a Federation ship, all told from the perspective of the slowly digested crew members.

As always, all comments and reviews are welcome.
