5 years later Part 1

(Third person POV)

Hovering in the cold void of space hovered the Raving Imperium starship, its sensor arrays staring out into the endless expanse of space, making its scan almost imperceptible that if another starship had been present, its presence would not have been detected.

As it was, on the ship you could see a line of numerous strange creatures running around the ship doing their duties.

Although it was small by most spacecraft standards - less than seven hundred meters long, really; most cargo ships were larger in every way - and still had more firepower than many other ships.

The only color on it was green, the reactor itself was bluish in color, which was a silent challenge to any attacker. That reactor powered three massive Omluibbi drive assemblies that could propel the ship at unparalleled speed and open holes in reality and enter the parallel dimension of Grosogath and enter real space at an unparalleled speed. Six dorsal turrets mounted the ship's eldritch particle projection cannons in pairs, providing excellent firepower at most ranges. Two plasma blasters on either side and a heavier plasma destroyer down its centerline allowed the ship to deal heavy damage to anything it caught in the cone directly ahead. Indeed, it was overkill to field such a ship for this mission.

The ship itself was biomechanical in its composition, built with a mixture of biotechnology, cybernetics and eldritch magic and physics. Contrary to what can be concluded from a ship seven hundred meters long, the ship was bigger inside than outside, like every ship of the dark dawn empire. An unwary person could find himself lost on the ship itself, unable to find his way out of the ever-changing ship. The ship itself uses a self-renewing energy source called Datherite. The very nature of the ship and its operation violated countless laws of physics as well as the very shadows that were alive and hiding everywhere in corners and dark places waiting for an unfortunate victim to come to them.

If you went even further to the center of the ship, you would see an unusual person with abnormal body proportions with white hair and golden eyes giving orders to strange fairy and beast humanoids.

"Launch us to the nearest star system," said the strange creature

"At your command, creator," the strange fairy creature responded and ordered the preparation for activating the drive and entering the faster-than-light state.

(First person POV)

MC POV

As I watch the ship enter the faster-than-light state and quickly transport us into the void between the stars, I can't help but smile at our success. In the past five years since the launch of the first satellite we have colonized every planet in our star system which we aptly named the Idat System after my first creations. We have terraformed each celestial body and turned it into a paradise connected by a network of underground tunnels. Our nanoforges were constantly reworking the asteroid belt and turning it into more starships. Our numerous mining operations ensured that we were not short of mineral wealth, I even brought a few tons of precious metals to trade in case we encountered other spaceships with whom we could trade for information on the geopolitical picture. Our society was in a state of post-scarcity, not possessing a single flaw and error that civilization can possess. Physical work has been completely eliminated, leaving our civilization to invest its efforts in art, music, adventure, pleasure and countless other beauties that we have created and achieved.

We could immediately check our way through the Grosogath, a parallel dimension I created to facilitate our faster-than-light travel but I decided to test the Omluibbi drive as a standalone faster-than-light travel device. As the ship leaves the star system closest to us, I notice that the system is made up of only 5 planets with many smaller satellites and asteroids. Two of the planets were ordinary rocky planets with no signs of life and the other three were gas giants. The star itself was a yellow dwarf with an extremely white color, there were no traces of life anywhere in the system.

I watched with my countless eyes and ears analyzing everything in the newly explored star system. While I was looking at everything, I finally realized how limited and small mortal senses are. I see so many miracles and things that cannot be described in normal language or perceived, for all the miracles I saw, words can never exist to describe them.

I'm pulled out of my inner chatter by one of my Wildgirl Healegira who relays new information.

"Father, our sensors picked up a signal from a ship coming out of its faster-than-light state. Their drives are significantly inferior to ours."

"Point the screens towards the area where the ship will appear".

As the screens turn towards the area the ship appears on our screens. The ship was smaller than ours with a length of 630 m, a width of 210 m and a height of 84 m. The ship itself was dark red and looked like a combination of a freighter and a warship. The ship itself looked like it had a tip like an arrow, the back part looked like the gills of a fish, and the middle of the ship, which looked like a rectangle, connected both parts.

"We come in peace. I am His Majesty Z'ymbrax, Emperor of the Dark Dawn Realm. With which sentient beings do I have the pleasure of making first contact.

My message is sent and I don't have to worry about it not being understood, because since I can speak and understand any language, all my words are automatically translated into the main language of the listener.

I'm waiting a few minutes until we receive the live feed. I played the broadcast on the screen and looked at the crew of the other ship and saw short little creatures with orange-brown skin, blue fingernails, enlarged skulls, wrinkled noses and sharp teeth. The most notable and visible feature of these creatures were their large ears.

"I am Tozant, son of Leramp, captain of this ship, we come from the Ferengi Alliance. We are Ferengi and we come in peace."
