He hasn't had the best life, in fact, some would argue that his life couldn't have been worse, but there's still hope, even for a nihilist. As when an expedition to colonize the moon quickly turns into a disaster, he is swallowed whole by an anomaly and spat out somewhere completely different. Here one can conjure flames with words and summon thunderclouds with a shout, but it's not all fantasia and ecstasy. The world seemed peaceful enough, but as he learns more and more. He realizes everything he sees is a facade, and what's truly underneath is a civilization built on blood and war. In fact, the whole world is in a state of war, fueling the coming of Ragnarök.
The town wasn't as big as I had thought, hence why it was called a town. We got to the end of the street and all the roads came together and kept going.
"Where do I get a haircut again?" I said looking at all three streets.
"Well uhhh." Jane said fiddling with her thumbs. "Can it..."
"Center street, to the middle." Abigale cut her off.
"Thank you." I started to walk away.
"Couldn't we have kept him a little longer." Jane sounded sadder with every word.
Walking up the street I looked around a little. I saw the furniture stores and clothes stores, places I'd revisit in the future when I had my storage cube. The lack of vehicles said as much.
I got to the center of the street and on one side was "lines unparalleled," and on the other was "No hair no pain." It was truly a hard decision to make but in the end I choose lines unparalleled.
