A Jolteon yawned slowly as he hopped out of bed. But, being too tired, he immediately face-planted on the carpeted floor. He looked up from the floor before rubbing his eyes. His sight went from fuzzy to clear as he sat up groggily.

"Oww..." He groaned. "What time is it?" This Jolteon's name was Spark, a fifteen year old extrovert that likes spending his time enjoying life and procrastinating on any assignment or task the he would find tedious.

"It's noon, Big Bro." His little brother, Aiden replied as he walked into the room. Aiden was an introverted Eevee, three years younger than his older brother. He was a bit more shy than his outgoing brother.

"Wait... Shouldn't you be at school with Skylar?" Spark asked, looking at him sternly. Aiden looked back at him with confusion before answering.

"School let out early today." The Eevee replied as Spark stood up. "Winter and Skylar headed to the store, too."

As his younger brother spoke, the Jolteon noticed a black briefcase sitting on the floor nearby. His eyes widened as they darted between Aiden and the case. Spark used one of his legs to push the briefcase under the bed, going completely unnoticed by his brother.

"Close one..." Spark thought to himself, letting out a sigh of relief.

"Is everything okay, Big bro?" Aiden asked, looking up to him. "You look tired, even though you just slept."

"It's no biggie." Spark gave him a smile. He began to walk off, his brother following him. "Just a bad dream."

This... Was called lying.

It had been two years since the incident. The thing that managed to get Spark out of school temporarily, and into a lot of dangerous events. This incident involved the Special Ops Pokémon Agency, or the S.O.P.A.

-----Two Years Ago...-----

"What are you talking about?" A younger Spark asked confidently, "This'll work." Spark, a thirteen year old Eevee at the time, was trying to balance as many cupcakes as he could on a bet. The bet was if he balanced up to twenty, he would get twenty dollars. If not, he'd have to pay twenty dollars.

"Do it!" A female Emolga named Izzy encouraged him. She watched in awe, surprisingly interested in how many school-branded cupcakes.

"I'm waiting for my twenty dollars!" A male Pikachu named Ace exclaimed confidently with a smug smile. Spark had currently stacked nineteen cupcakes, and he was ready to jump and stack twenty.

"And here... We... Go!" Spark exclaimed, stacking the chocolate cupcake on top.

"It's... Beautiful..." Ace smiled, looking up to the stack. "All hail the holy stack!" Spark smiled cockily before walking over to Ace.

"Twenty dollars, cash." Spark smiled, holding out a paw. Ace gasped before looking behind Spark. The holy stack was tipping over. In their direction.

"Hit the deck!" Ace shouted before tackling Spark out of the way. The stack of sugary treats fell, and due to the consistency of the chocolate used, the spatter range reached more than three tables down. The whole cafeteria went silent for a few minutes, before a voice of a student sealed Spark, Ace, and Izzy's fate.

"Food Fight!!!"

"Arceus, don't do this please..." Spark begged before cupcakes began being thrown from multiple directions. "Oh we're so in detention...."

A few minutes later, the three found themselves in the principal's office. Spark was holding back a chuckle as he looked at a chocolate-covered Ace.

"Shut..." Ace began as electricity sparked from his cheeks. "...Up"

"Pffft... You got a little something on your cheek there." Spark laughed. "Lemme get it for you." Spark put his paw on Ace's cheek, making it look like there was a yellow paw print on his face.

"Why you little-" Ace tried to say but was cut off by Izzy, grabbing him.

"Stop." She told him. "We don't want to get into more trouble." Ace looked into the Emolga's eyes before he blushed and sat down.

"You three..." A Lopunny spoke, walking into the room. "I've dealt with you before, so you know the drill."

"Right." Spark sighed. "What punishment should we get?"

"What will we do in the future to not have this happen again?" Ace continued, mimicking the Lopunny's past words.

"And how long should we perform the punishment?" Izzy finished, looking away shamefully.

"Good." The Lopunny smiled. "Go and clean the cafeteria, and you'll proceed to do that for a month."

The three spent their afternoon cleaning up the multiple spots of chocolate from the food war. After a few hours, they finished up and were prepared to go home. Ace was still sticky from the chocolate, giving Spark an unorthodox idea. The three were collecting their bags from their classroom, and Spark was ready to execute his plan.

"Ace! Izzy! Come over here for a moment!" Spark called to his two friends. "I think I see an evolution stone up there in the closet." Spark didn't see the stone, but was taking an idea from a t.v show.

"Really?" Ace asked.

"Yeah." Spark replied. "I'll give you a boost." Ace climbed onto Spark's back before Ace helped Izzy up to reach the top. Spark smiled before quickly hopping away. This removed all balance for the two, and they fell. Izzy landed on top of Ace, their stomach fur sticking together.

"Dude!" Ace shouted, turning red. "What the hell?"

"I'll leave you two alone." Spark smiled, walking out of the room. "Ace, man up and just tell her!"

Spark walked out of the classroom, then the school, before being hit with a sense of satisfaction.

"I can't believe an idea from a rom-com I watched with my mom would work!" Spark told himself in surprise. The Eevee began to head home, a smile forming on his face.

Later...

The Eevee walked past the same police station he had so many times on his way home, but something felt different. There weren't any drunken laughs of the cops. There wasn't a random police officer running out to greet him. Usually, he could hear them from miles away. This confused Spark, so he decided to take a closer look into their whereabouts.

There was no one inside, or at the front desk.

Spark walked inside before going to the back room. He heard mumbles and whispers. The only words he could make out was "The package".

"Alpha. You take the left flank. Delta, take right. Echo, go straight down the middle." A deep and gruff voice spoke. "Everyone, head to the locker rooms for your suits." The door swung open, nearly hitting Spark as it did.

He watched the large group of Pokémon walk down the hallway, and followed behind them curiously. They all entered two different locker rooms, one for females, and the other for males. Spark followed the male group inside. They all began quickly opening and closing lockers, grabbing black suits and different weapons as they went. Spark went next to an Arcanine, who did a double take at the Eevee.

"First Mission?" The Arcanine asked. "This one looks a little... Young to be an agent. But why would a young boy be here?"

"Y-Yes sir." The Spark replied, knowing that he wasn't supposed to be there.

"Name?" the Arcanine asked.

"Spark, sir." Spark replied, digging himself deeper and deeper into the hole he made for himself.

"Special Ops Agent Spark, huh?" The Arcanine asked. "Nice name deputy. Lay low, and try not to die."

"Special ops agent? Spark thought to himself, pulling out the same black suit. He looked to his side and saw the Arcanine pull out two guns and put them in holsters. Spark looked into his locker, and saw two combat knives waiting for him. He pulled them out and looked at the knives.

"You're a speed agent, huh?" The Arcanine asked. "Bold choice."

"M-Mhm..." Spark stuttered. "I wanna go home..."

"The names S.O.A Dan." The Arcanine told Spark. "Get suited up, deputy. Afterwards, let's go out for drinks. My treat."

Spark looked down at the black suit and black tie with a nervous smile.

"I'm so screwed..."

Spark, and multiple other agents boarded different cars. Thankfully, Spark was walking toward a car with the only Pokémon her knew there. Dan knew that Spark looked a little too young to be an agent, so he decided to see how far Spark would go to cover his own lie.

"Agent Spark, you drive." Dan told him, throwing him the keys.

"Crap! I don't know how to drive!" Spark thought to himself as he gave Dan a confident smile and nodded calmly. Spark, Dan, and two other agents loaded into the car before one of the agents decided to play around with the deputy.

"Step on it, deputy!" Agent Justin, a Lucario exclaimed.

"S-S-Seat Belts first..." Spark stuttered before the three agents complied. "Here we go!" Spark stepped one of the pedals before they shot backwards.

"Take it out of reverse!" Agent Cecelia, an Espeon shouted.

"I-I knew that!" Spark replied, putting a paw on the stick before putting it in drive. "Got it!" Spark drove the car off, following the other cars. "My first time behind the wheel... How hard could it be?"

---

When the four arrived at the chosen location along with the other agents, Spark screeched the vehicle to a stop.

"Second place..." Spark sighed, putting his face on the steering wheel. "Not bad..."

"This isn't a damn Mario Kart race!" Agent Justin shouted at Spark. "This isn't a game, deputy!"

"Alright, team." Dan began. "We're dealing with a mob boss this time around. It's a search and destroy. We need to find him before he escapes again."

"Why is he such a big deal?" Spark asked innocently. "It's just a mob boss, right?"

The whole car suddenly went silent. Dan looked at the Eevee with a raised eyebrow, Justin sighed with exasperation, and Cecelia giggled softly.

"Who hired this one...?" Justin asked with a groan. "That means he has a ton of lackeys idiot."

"They have access to the multilution stones." Cecelia told Spark, regaining her composure. "They're dangerous."

"What are tho-" Spark tried to ask, but was quickly cut off.

"The multilution stones are special stones that allow Pokémon to evolve multiple times." Cecelia answered. "They're really strong for Pokémon like yourself. An Eevee."

"Let's go." Dan told the three.

"Which team are we on again?" Spark asked the three.

"Echo. The frontlines." Justin replied, earning a squeak from Spark. "Speaking of which, what type of agent are you?"

"Uh... Speed." Spark replied quickly, pulling his two knives out of his holsters.

"Good. We needed a speed agent on our team." Justin replied. "You're in front, try not to die."

"R-Right..." Spark nodded before the four jumped out of the car. The other agents did the same. A Pangoro stepped out in front of all the agents.

"Alpha, Delta, you're clear to go." He spoke before two large groups headed left and right. "Echo, your main mission is to find that mob boss, and don't die. Move."

"I... Don't know about this..." Spark whimpered, his legs shaking.

"It's okay..." Cecelia consoled him. "That's just something he says every large mission. By the way, I'm Agent Cecelia."

"A-Agent Spark..." Spark replied.

"Let's go." Dan told the three as they, and six other agents began heading straight down the middle. Spark and four other agents were standing on the right of the door while Dan, Cecelia, and Justin stood on the left of the door. An Infernape held a paw up before banging on the door.

"S.O.P.A! Open up!" He shouted before Spark stifled a laugh.

"'S.O.P.A'?" Spark snickered.

"What's so funny?" A Charmeleon asked the Eevee.

"Pfft-N-Nothing..." Spark replied. "What a dumb name..."

After busting in the large house, all of the agents fanned out into groups of two. Spark followed Dan nervously as Dan was ready to shoot. The area was dark, and seemed to be unstable. The Eevee wondered why some Pokémon would run an illegal business there.

"Bring out your weapons." Dan told him. "You need to be prepared." Spark nodded before taking out the combat knives he shouldn't have. Suddenly, Spark tripped over something. It was a Houndoom, knocked out.

"Search the bags on him." Dan told a shocked Spark. He nodded before walking over to the unconscious Pokémon. He hesitated for a moment, questioning the morality of the situation, before beginning to pat the Houndoom down.

"Sorry..." Spark whispered before taking out a stone that looked like it had a rainbow in it. The Stone had a similar shape to an evolution stone, but instead of glowing one color, it glowed multiple. It glowed once more before Spark threw it to the ground and used one of his knives to break it to pieces.

"You... Destroyed it?" Dan asked, looking at the pieces fade. "Why?"

"These stones are bad, right?" Spark asked him, giving him a serious look. "Then whether good guys have it or bad guys have it... They shouldn't use it."

Dan smiled before laughing out loud. "You've got spirit, kid. When we get out of this, I want you to apply to become a real agent."

"Wait... You knew I wasn't supposed to be here?" Spark asked quietly, his eyes widening. "Why didn't you turn me in?"

"I wanted to see how far you could go." Dan replied, putting a paw on Spark's head. "But you're capable enough to become a legitimate agent." Spark smiled nervously at the statement.

Little did they know, the pieces of the multilution stone were going into Spark's combat knives. The blades shined red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple before seemingly going back to normal.

---

After the mission was finished and unsuccessful, Spark got a ride home from Dan. Dan was a little annoyed that the mob boss was able to escape without a trace. But when the two arrived home, only a destroyed house awaited them.

The two looked at the exterior of the house from the car with a bit of confusion. Spark's eyes widened and filled with tears as he began to struggle to open the car door.

"Are you sure this is the place, Spark?" Dan asked the crying Eevee.

"Dan, come on!" Spark shouted, jumping out of the car. Dan quickly followed.

The two entered the house. Spark, knives in hand, and Dan, guns ready to fire. The two entered the living room. It was dark, void of life, and completely destroyed. A picture of Spark's parents laid on the floor, it's frame broken. The Eevee bit his lip nervously at the sight, moving on upstairs.

Dan aimed his gun inside Spark's room, seeing nobody. The Arcanine exhaled through his nose as he left the room door opened. Spark looked in the bathroom, and noticed a scent that was unfamiliar to him. It wasn't either of his parents' scents. It wasn't his little brother's scent. No one had visited them for months, either.

"...D-Dan? I think our house got robbed..." The Eevee shakily spoke.

"I don't think that's the case..." Dan replied, searching a closet. He noticed blood stains on the carpeted floor, leading up to a room further down the hallway. "Did your parents have any bad blood with anyone?"

"Nobody in specific, why?" Spark answered. He followed Dan's gaze, and his eyes widened at the sight. "...No..."

The two followed the multiple stains on the floor, the stains becoming more and more saturated as they went. The saturation of the blood on the floor signaled that it was recent. The duo then arrived at a singular closed door. Spark's Parent's room.

Dan signaled for the Eevee to remain where he stood, in case things went south in there. He let out a sigh before entering the bedroom. He moved inside before quickly closing the door behind him. After a few minutes, Dan came out, carrying a blood covered Eevee. The Eevee could be seen shaking slightly.

It was Spark's little brother, Aiden.

"Aiden!" Spark cried, stuffing his combat knives in his holsters.

"Big bro!" Aiden cried, tackling his older brother in a hug. "You didn't leave me!" He sobbed into his older brother's shoulder, shaking violently and uncontrollably.

"Are you okay?" Spark asked. "Are you hurt?" Aiden looked up to Spark before beginning to sob harder.

"It's not mine..." Aiden whispered between sobs.

"N-No..." Spark mumbled, beginning to realize what he meant. The Eevee slowly stood up and began to walk towards the door. "Let me in there."

"I can't." Dan replied, standing in front of the door. "There's nothing to see in there, Spark." "

L-Let me into that room!" Tears began to cascade down his face as he tried to tug on the doorknob to the room. He rammed his side into Dan's chest making his groan in pain. He continued to try and enter the room to see his parents one more time.

"No!" Dan shouted, holding him back. "You don't want to see what's in there, let's just go!" The Arcanine exchanged his pistol for another. The second pistol appeared strange, as it was colored differently. He pointed the pistol at Spark's right arm and pulled the trigger quickly.

"Let me see them! Let me...." Spark began to trail off, having been stuck with a tranquilizer dart.

---

Spark woke up groggily in a room. He looked around, and saw his brother. His head rested on his shoulder as he slept quietly. Dan stood in front of him, carrying a white note. And a piece of lined paper.

"We found this on their... Bodies..." Dan told Spark softly, handing him the two notes.

The first note read; 'If you are seeing this Spark, that means we aren't around anymore. Don't be sad, sweetie. Keep living life how you always do, to the fullest. For your brother, we're sorry that we couldn't be with you when you started middle school. Don't be scared, and look out for one another. We love you both to no end, we'll always love you... To the very end.'

The second note simply read; 'It's me.'

"The second one is most likely from that same mob boss from earlier. That's his signature line after committing any form of crime." Dan told him. "You're now involved in the agency. Like it or not." He let out another sigh, "But why would he want Spark and his younger brother alive...?"

"Where will we live?" Spark asked him, looking up to the Arcanine.

"There's a house not too far from here." Dan replied. "Three Pokémon, orphaned in the past live there. That's your best cover-up. And until you're in high school, you will train under the S.O.P.A's program. Are you willing?"

Spark gripped his combat knives before the knives began glowing. The glow then surrounded Spark as he stood up. Dan watched in awe as a newly-evolved Jolteon faced him.

"Dan... Make me an agent."
