"Excellent!" Trevor says, sticking out his hand again. The Warlock sure is laying it on thick. Either that or it's quite the nervous tic. "If he throws it back in our faces then no Kindred will be able to say we didn't make an attempt at diplomacy."

"Should I ask him to speak to you when he's made his decision?" you ask Trevor.

"Or Henrik Lang. He knows where to find us." He pauses. "Do you have any particular interest in ancient texts? History and apocrypha?"

Trevor appears disappointed, but quickly covers it up.

"Come, Trevor," Corliss says, taking him by the hand. "I have someone else to introduce you to." She inclines her head to you. "Appreciation for your assistance, Agad the Imperishable. It's been noted."
