Deep underground, far away from the Underground City. 

The place was so utterly dark that without spreading out their Divine Sense or similar powers, they couldn't see even a bit of the surroundings. Other than Scarlett's butterfly wings that kept touching his ears and Jelly's hand that clutched the side of his robes, he could feel nothing in the space around him.

Feeling a bit unnerved but confident, Ethan said, "This is the best place."

Unlike the underground caverns near the human city, this place had no sun-like bulb, but it was also never visited by anyone due to that and was most of the time a lonely place. 

Of course, it was not hard for Silver Halo cultivators to spread their Divine Sense throughout the Black Forest in a day, so hiding here like this wouldn't let them hide from their enemies.

But Ethan had a different plan for coming here.
