Blue Star's Technology and Goals

After roaming the entire villa (yes, I live in a medium-sized villa) and after pouring over this vessel's ( ' well I should now call it my body's memories now ') memories, I have come to understand this world and my situation within it. My name is now Raven Oscars, a very distinct name in this new world since the "O" in my last name is also the "O" in the NOVA Corporation. The NOVA Corp. is the biggest tech group in all of Blue Star and due to its rise, there are many political, sociological, and economical differences between this and my previous world.

For one, at the turn of the 21st century in this world, there was a huge technological boom that occurred pushing science hundreds of years forward within a short amount of time. There are many reasons for this but one of the biggest was that there seemed to have been a larger amount of brilliant technological minds born into this world than in my previous one. For example, In my kitchen now a robot nanny is cooking me breakfast as it always has since my parents died and left their fortune and property to me. My father, Williams Oscars' was one of the founders of NOVA (Norman-Oscars-Vent-Allen) and the lead developer of NOVA's revolutionary invention, the "New Life Capsule".

The NLC is a cylinder-shaped device that allows the user to spend up to 5 years within the virtual reality world without taking a break. It is equipped with nutrient solutions and waste disposal processes that are difficult to hook up and take off but are defiantly worth the effort. Moreover, the capsule has a time-dilation function in which 1 day in the real world is equal to 100 days in virtual reality. Now, I say "Virtual Reality" rather than "Game" for a very specific reason; there is no VR Game. I mean, there are games you can play but just as I was told after crossing, the creativity in this world is almost null. The virtual world with time dilation has been up for close to 20 years (2000 years in VR) throughout that 2 millennium year time, all that has been done is simply to build a new civilization in the game almost identical to our own and give people a longer life-span.

It's worth noting that there are differences, for example, people can completely alter their race and appearance in the VR which has had some interesting results but nothing except having a new "Blue Star" within the VR in which you can extend your life. However, what is truly incredible is that in answer to the changing times 20 years ago, the various countries united and ended all wars and inter-political struggles since the human race was going virtual. All currency was standardized into "Blue Coins" worth approximately 1 US dollar apiece.

The final thing worth noting at this time is that because of the impact the NOVA group had on the human race, there were rewards handed out to the major players involved in NLC's development. All four families (N.O.V.A) were given "creation tickets" and each is linked to their descendant's DNA (as I said, technology has come a long way on Blue Star) so that only the families and their descendants may inherit the treasure. The value of these items can be understood in the fact that only five were given out, one to each family and one to the "Blue Star Alliance" which was formed after the unification of all countries.
