Regeneration awakening potion

Jordan was in a dark room without windows, several men and women were tied up to the beds before him, some of them were already dead, some were barely holding to their lives and some were waiting for what´s to come.

Several doses laid on a table next to Jordan and in those doses there was a mixture of herbs and liquid mana, in those doses, there are experiment potions which Jordan worked on, so far the experiments didn't go exactly well, from the ten subject none survived but the data he got from the subjects will help greatly in perfecting the potion.

The subjects were those free humans that decided to leave and were unfortunate enough to get captured, now they were tied and locked up in the old factory´s basement.

But the experiments were starting to eat Jordan´s funds, for every potion he needed to buy herbs that couldn't be found anywhere on earth, those herbs from the moon-platform were very costly and just to make one potion Jordan needs to spend 100 crystals, which is even more than what he spends on an average awakening potion.

That just proves how valued the regenerative potion is, if Jordan manages to complete the procedure, he may sell it for tens of thousands of gold. But the potion is far from being complete, the power that should stimulate the cells is diverted and accumulated in other parts of the body causing literal explosions regeneration that drains the body to dust.

To solve this problem Jordan created a fourth-circle spell that is supposed to equally spread the potion into the body, and to solve the problem of draining too much, nutrients from the body Jordan though of something as well. The regenerative power would be useless if it just decreased his body rank every-time he uses it so Jordan thought of a solution, the awakened cells are made to be able to store the energy from the beast´s center of power or just meat, with this the regenerative power will be limited but won´t affect his body immediately.

Still, when it comes down to it Jordan can exchange his mana for nutrients as his body doesn't require food, but he would rather save mana for spells.

To achieve all this Jordan needs to awaken a certain number of cells in his body and destroy all those un-awakened, this process is extremely taxing on the body and mind, the pain from it is just crazy as even the awakened cells go through drastic changes that just destroy and rebuild them, because of this Jordan needs to leave out his center of power and brain from the process otherwise he would just die, sadly those two organs will be his weak points.

Nothing is truly perfect and even though it´s a shame Jordan accepted it, creating a potion that could awaken the regenerative power even his center of power and brain is currently impossible, maybe in future Jordan may try it but not, for now, his center of power and brain will have to settle with his natural regeneration.

Over the course of several days, Jordan continued with experimenting on the almost developed regeneration awakening potion, and finally, he was confident in using it. Watching the last subject struggle and then stabilize Jordan nodded with great satisfaction.

From the man before him white vapor was coming, painful cries that escaped through the gag. The subject survived.

Jordan used a bit of fourth circle mana from his center of power and checked the man´s insides, ´everything looks good, the cells, the bone marrow, the brain is unaffected, it is ready´

Finally, the potion was complete, but Jordan did not felt all that excited because of what is to come, seeing the process and what it did to the subject Jordan was a bit nervous.

It was strange to feel something like that after so long, because of the mutations and his change to a demon Jordan was feeling less and less human emotions besides the negative one such as hate, rage, and the pleasure from absorbing the negative energy.

Putting aside those thoughts Jordan rather got to work, to make the success rate as high as possible he needs to prepare.

First, he should kill the last subject, with no weapon around Jordan just let his fangs grow and cut the subject´s throat. The result was an absolute failure, the cut healed at visible speed and in 3 seconds the only evidence of any injury was the few droplets of blood.

The regenerative power was amazing, Jordan with his demon constitution could heal such a wound as well but it would take much more time and he would lose quite a lot of blood, seeing this his doubts about the potions slowly began to fade. He already knew what effect the potion should bring but seeing it with his own eyes was completely different than having few calculations on paper.

With cuts not working Jordan decided to try a more drastic solution and so he ripped the subject´s heart out. The subject was non-awakened, so his heart wasn't his center of power (his weakness) Jordan just wanted to see if the subject manages to heal himself even without the required nutrients.

Jordan watched as the already thin man become even thinner, the wound on his chest was spilling blood left and right but eventually, it managed to close itself. The subject stabilized, his heart completely regrown from scratch but the toil on the body was clearly visible, the man now looked like a bag of bones covered with skin.

Just as Jordan was about to relieve the man from his suffering, he looked at the heart in his hand, the heart was still pumping, and few small veins were growing from it. Truly amazing, even the cut off parts continue to regenerate.

´would it be possible to transplant the heart into someone? This way it could partially enhance the regenerative abilities even though the result will be nowhere close to the potion… and is it possible to transplant the centers of power? This will all need further research´

Jordan clenched his hand and smashed the heart to pieces, after that he ripped the subjects head off, he won´t torture him anymore. While watching as the body regenerated half of the missing head Jordan becomes completely resolute, he will use the potion on himself.

It was a few days later and Jordan was in the basement of the church for a change, it was one of the safest places in town and he decided to go through the mutation here. The regeneration awakening potion was slightly glowing while inside a glass bottle. This potion was made from the top tier quality herbs that Jordan bough on the moon platform, the cost of all those herbs is close to 1000 crystals, that and several of third rank centers of power from elemental beasts and many, many crystals that were made into liquid mana. When it´s used on himself Jordan won´t cut any corners.

In the future, Jordan may release the downgraded version of the potion to the humans in his camp but besides the heads of families, there probably won´t be anyone who can afford it.

Jordan for the x time counted all the centers of power that were forming a pyramid just next to a tub filled with elemental beast blood mixed with herbs, there were around 10 centers of power from beasts and some even from humans that Jordan caught outside. With this all done Jordan send everyone out. "you can go now" William "be careful, just focus on making it through" Jordan "Haha, you don't have to tell me that"

William together with Max and other beasts will guard the church in case anything happens, it might be paranoid on Jordan´s side but he won´t take any risks.

Being left alone Jordan stripped naked and got into the tub with blood, Jordan took the potion and cast the fourth circle spell on equal distribution on it, to avoid any thoughts that could make him change his mind Jordan drink the potion immediately.

At first, nothing happened as the potion first had to get digested but soon enough Jordan began to feel the pain, at first mild but increasing with every second, every fiber of his being was on fire, his eyes, skin, bones, ears everything was burning, the blood in the tub got stained with black blood from Jordan and soon the tub even started boiling.

Jordan fought through the pain but it was getting worse and worse, few painful growls escaped from his mouth before his lungs were destroyed, Jordan wanted to clench his fang-like teeth but they fell off, he wanted to hold onto the edge of the tub but the muscles from all over his body were falling off, it was like when he used his transformation ability only worse.

Soon Jordan´s eyes fell off and he became blind, the last thing he could feel was his body sinking into the tub.

Everything was black, the only thing Jordan could see was the projection from the spell he cast and his center of power. It was like he was only a brain with the center of power as if everything else had fallen off.

It was strange like he got rid of his coat that was the body and only the brain was left, the cleanest form of demon, angel, human being. In that state the time flew differently, Jordan didn't know how long it was before he started to feel again. The pain came again, whatever he does the pain always comes, Jordan woke up inside the blood and looked around. Gasping for air he quickly tried to get up.

"ughhr ughhr" heavily breathing and Jordan sat in the tub, he made it.

Jordan quickly grabbed few centers of power and ate them he needs to replenish energy. After a while when Jordan calmed himself he decided to check his body, first, the good thing is that his body rank didn't drop much he is still in the fourth rank, second, the regeneration awakening didn't go exactly according to plan, few places didn't awaken.

It was no problem as the places were such as his biceps or calf, still, it needs to get awakened, and the best way to do it? Ripping all the unawakened muscles clearly off, then the rest of the awakening body will regenerate the part as awakened as well, while clenching his fang-like teeth Jordan got to work.
