The Abandoned Facility

"Cool."

She responded monotonously with a blank expression and continued to walk as Hana rushed to her side and shot Jean a confused expression as they walked away side by side.

I wonder what was that about.

Shaking my head I turned to face our faded brown worn out door with cracks scratches and chips falling off.

Well, I am excited, since it's been so long I got to go out and have fun like anyone my age, so I gotta brush any doubt and any suspicion towards my two odd friend no matter how obvious they are.

I know Jean is plotting my downfall she does that everytime I piss her off.

I entered our dark haunted house and tiptoed upstairs trying not to make any noice as possible, not wanting to wake my lazy mother.

As soon as I entered the dump I call my room, I threw my things unto my bed and rushed to the only window there and jumped out landing on my feet like a cat.

I'm feeling like I'm in a movie already! Just then I realized I didn't bring anything like a flashlight or something.

Idiot.

I went back inside to get one, but this time my mom is awake, great.

"Huff!"

Uhg! I hate her, I've been inside this prison house my hole damn life and I'm not even living my life anymore!

Right! I know, I know, shes my mother and all but come on! Your elder sister is living her life to the fullest and then here you are stuck with this shitless life, living like a doll 'you'll only do what you're told to' and it's driving me crazy.

"Hmn?"

I answered with a humm to hide my annoyance.

"I though you already got home, check the house maybe it was a thief."

The heck! It's her fault for not checking and now she's asking me to do shit when for all I know maybe she's been pretending to be asleep this whole time.

"Nah, we got nothing worth stealing here anyways and I'm in a rush."

I hurried back to my room to get a flashlight and remembered I don't own one. l sigh in annoyance and went to my fathers room to borrow his and then leaped out of our shitty house once more.

I know I'm a bad daughter but come on just this once I wanna go and make my life worth living.

I've been obedient enough.

I walked and walk passing  through tall grasses as I go deeper west, houses has started to lessen and shrink in the background until they turned into a dot of white as fireflies outshone those lights from the home's windows.

I swallowed my spit as I navigate through the forest, then I finally saw the big abandoned science facility from afar. Since the place was pretty wide and surrounded by those tall creepy trees and also those tall metal chain fences that has a 'NO TRESPASSING, HAZARDOUS' sign the facility still towered over them like a castle of a tyrant king.

They all kinda gave me a creepy, sci-fi vibe that ignites the ghost buster in my stomach.

It scream ADVENTURE!

The fence has a slit enough for a person to fit in so I went in... I'm not sure if they're already there but I took the chance.

I walked further approaching the building. It's so unusually cold in here. I shone my flashlight in the entrance and wow, the door, it's ...I cant even describe it! It's tall as hell and thick, I cant even tell if its made out of steel or cement! A Giant could casually walk in here! It's like a gate to the afterlife or some sort.

I walked over it with amazement. I was almost caught out of breath by someone who suddenly spoke.

"Took you long enough?"

Jean said as she let out a short chuckle after seeing me surpflinch in surprise. I saw Hana hiding behind Jean, I could totally say that she's terrified of this place.

"Soo, You two finally made it official?"

I teased

"Official what?"

Jean replied confused.

"You two are in a relationship."

I chuckled slightly.

"The fuck're you saying? Huff!"

She yelled with disgust and anger, I cant help but to burts out in laughter.

"Quit it Huff! Jean like boys!"

Hana defended. OMG! It made me even laugh harder!

"Jean? You mean Jean actually LIKED a GUY?! hahahahahaha!!"

I exclaimed, wailing like a crazed chimpanzee.

"The fuck are you laughing at bitch!"

Now Jean's really angry that Hana started to panic.

"Yeah! You know the guy, Travis!"

Hana said proudly, she had no idea she's only making it worse. I tried so harrrd not to laugh but screw it.

"Ahahhahahaha!! The douche on drama club?! holly shit! hahahaha!!"

I howled.

"Yknow what? I'mma beat you right here you fucking asshole."

Jean finally snapped and ran towards me. Of course I ran but away from her. Its really hard to run while laughing at the same time. I was practically wheezing!

"Stop it you two!"

Hana yelled with a stomp. I slowed down but Jean still continued chasing after me on full speed as she was about to caught me Hana yelled again and stomped her feet once again.

I dont know why but I think she should stop doing that.

"I SAID STOP!"

We heard a loud crack together with her echoing voice. Jean and I both stood there in silence as we stare at the floor Hana was standing on.

We felt as if were witnessing one of those winter horror movies as if the one Hana was standing on was not cement but thin ice and below it is a sub zero bottomless pit of water.

Hana knew what was going on as she made a faint sob, it cracked my heart.

She's scared shitless.

Jean should be in her position.

"C-calm down Hana. Well get you outt'a there."

I said lowering my upper body and stretching out my right hand to hers as she does the same.

I cant reach her.

She backed away shaking her head violently while looking at both me and Jean with teary eyes, I can see in her eyes shes slowly giving up hope.

"Jean! Don't just fucking stand there!"

I yelled at her. Jean flinched and spoke.

"Hana, dont move okay!"

I panicked shitless after what Jean started doing, she started jumping violently.

"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING!!"

I yelled at her with panic and fear. I backed away with wide eyes after what started appearing below her feet.

All the cracks she made found their way to Hana.

"You fucking kidding me."

All I could manage was a whisper, my body slackened as I stare wide eyes, before I knew it Hana was gone with a loud sound as if it was a nuclear explosion to my ears.

I put my palm against my forehead in disbelief still staring at the huge hole where Hana was supposed to be with wide eyes.

I didn't bother looking over Jean.
