PHENEX MANSION POV

"Honey, what is it this time?" Lord Phenex ask his wife knowing his wife will never meet him or request to meet him unless something very important comes up.

"It is about Riser." Lady Phenex told him as his eyes brows frown hearing that.

"What is it? What he has done now?" He asks.

Lord Phenex knows that Riser right now the possibility is a wanted teenager right now after the actions he did in the Devilnet.

With many posts of him badmouthing Gremory and Lucifer, he will not be surprised if the Crimson Lucifer himself will barge into his territory.

But if he does he can just ask for assistance from Zekram Bael, that Old Devil who also holds the power of the Underworld.

His faction the Great King is composed of all the Devils House that holds a high position in the Underworld.

And also the one that has many positions in the Devils Society.

The higher-ups, those old devils are simply lazyass who simply get their position mainly due to their age which is longer than any current devils.

"Tell me first. Riser is our son right?" Lady Phenex shoots him a question.

"Yes. He is our son. Why?" He asks his wife back.

He may have a harem but none of them gets pregnant YET their past years.

His wife stares at him for a long time before releasing a breath.

"Okay. I trust you. That means he did not have a Sacred Gear." Lady Phenex said as Lord Phenex now is utterly confused right now.

His head now is trying to comprehend what her wife just said.

"Do not tell me she is suspecting Riser is a half-human and half devil? And Sacred Gear? Does Riser manifest one? No. He is a full-blood devil." 

"Look at this." Lord Phenex then look at the screen that shows something that made him bulge his eyes out.

"Is that our Riser?" He can not believe it but the Riser he sees in the video is moving at a speed that only Middle Class possesses. No, he can say his speed is something that he never once will see in Riser.

"Yes. That is him. Riser Phenex is the third son of us.  I am shocked as you are too. For all, we know that boy has changed and look at him right now." Lord Phenex then stares at the video where he sees no magic circle or item that made him move like that.

And that means that is his pure physical speed. His natural speed.

"Oh Lilith. Our Riser who only knows how to fool around can move this fast. Muahahahaa!" Lord Phenex laugh as he now knows that another of his son who he thought is going to be mediocre is not one.

He admits when he seed Riser to act like him once long ago made him wince knowing the moment he faced against oppose that is ten times stronger than him he will lose his life.

He also is like Riser. Fooling around and did not bother to train but after witnessing this younger brother die protecting him while he helplessly sees the light spear from a certain fallen angel behead his head apart, he erupts in fury.

At that time he only wants to kill that bastard but even in his rage the fallen angel triumph over him and he is about to lose his life until a member of Bael saved him in the nick of time with other devils.

The fallen angel retreats but not before laughing about the death of the supposed Immortal Phenex under his hand.

At that moment he regrets not training hard instead he just picks up girls around.

After returning from that battle he isolated himself in his room for a whole day all while crying over the loss of his younger brother.

A day after that he spends all his day training to the point his regeneration cannot keep up as many sleepless nights caused him to fall asleep for a whole day as his mind cannot take it anymore.

That is when he abandoned his playboy attitude and focus more on his family.

And then when he gets married and is a father to 2 sons, he trains them.

He did not want his sons to feel the same as him.

Now both of them are High-Class Devils ready to be the next head of Phenex. He is proud of them.

And when Riser is born he feels a little disappointed with him. Riser acts like him once.

Even though he has countless orders for him to train but that son of him only does it once a week.

Compared to his older siblings who trained for a week straight, this makes Riser's strengths not on the same par as theirs despite being younger than them by 3 years.

At some point, he gives up persuading him as he knows he has 2 sons that he can count on.

"Perhaps this is a mutation or a case like the Leviathan?" He mutters as he knows that rare cases are happening at every devil's offspring.

For instant Sairarog Bael. He springily did not get Bael's Power of Destruction. That devil trait is the only thing Lord Phenex fears as he has witnessed Zekram Bael once destroy tons of fallen angel squads with an enormous Orb that kills them to dust.

That ability turns weaklings or foot soldiers to dust as easy as that.

This is why when he did not get that trait he is considered an embarrassment and had asthma in that house. Other Devils House who is jealous of Bael takes this chance to meet that house for producing a useless possible heir.

But for Serafall Leviathan formerly Sitri, her case is a bit different.

The House of Sitri is known for its members manipulating water. And also medical.

So imagine every other house's surprise when Serafall shows she can manipulate ice and is so deadly with it.

This phenomenon does not commonly happen but Ajuka Beelzebub researches it with him calling it mutation.

It may happen when two devils from the indifferent house produce a unique ability or once a case as Serafall happen.

Lord Phenex had to breathe a relief seeing all his children had all hen traits of Phenex.

"I think so. I also speculate that." Lady Phenex tells him as Lord Phenex rubs his head.

"For now we will observe him. I want to know if this is not a trick. If this is indeed his true speed maybe I can supervise his training personally as I did to our older sons." Lord Phenex tell his wife who smiles hearing that.

"Are you sure you can do that, especially after what we have done?" Lady Phenex asks him with a caring tone.

"Bah. Until the Siscon apology to Riser and us, we will be adamant about the price we have set up. Do not worry if things go worse I can call in some favour from those Old Devils from the Councils." He tells his wife who now no longer feels worried hearing that.

"No. Why so many devils are unfollowing me and dislike all my videos?" One crimson hair girl wonders as a black hair girl takes a look at the phone in her hand.

"You know Rias maybe it is due to that thing you know. The one about Phenex Tear price." Akeno tells her King who pouts angrily hearing that.

"He is just annoyed that he cannot marry me that is why he does that. A low act from him. As expected from that damn Riser." Rias curse our protagonist who just cough out some drink.

"i wonder who is badmouthing me. Huh, probably that princess who is waiting for her boob-sucking dragon to come in for her rescue from me." Riser said as he then goes to his bedroom you know, take a rest after training for a long time.
