Chapter 36 Five women falling for you.

"She is not yours. Rias chose me willingly. But I think that we can settle this another way." Issei was ready to pull out Joyeuse. What would be left of Riser wouldn't be enough to feed the fishes.

"Enough. As a representative of both the Gremory family and as [Queen] as Sirzechs Lucifer, I will not allow further conflict." The demonic energy might be invisible but it was there.

Issei didn't even respond to it while Riser struck back.

"There was a sub-clause to this contract. If one would come to disagree with the contract, this could be settled by a Rating Game, unofficial of course, with the victor deciding the final outcome."

Rias smiled as she heard the words while Riser glared at her.

Issei looked back at Grayfia.

"I am not a Devil and I do not wish to become one. As this Rating Game is unofficial, I take there is a way that I can partake in this Game. As suitor chosen by Rias."

The Ultimate [Queen] nodded at him.

"We will find a way how you can partake in this game. You can play as an unofficial benefactor under Rias-ojousama's command."

"Perfect. That way, Riser can teach this mutt an important lesson." Issei could barely himself back from killing this douche.

"After all, even if you were to fight with Rias, you are still outnumbered. Besides that, Riser has been undefeated in Rating Games while Rias has never fought one." Waving his hand, another glyph that bore the mark of Phenex appeared.

From out of the fire, fifteen girls appeared. Issei counted them while he looked them over.

[Bah, what a bore. That fledging only has fifteen under his wing.]

'That is quite a high number if you were to ask me.'

[Partner, you have been in this city for just a few weeks and already have five women falling for you. Within a year, you will outnumber this brat. And women earned is better than women gained. Just like with honor]

Issei looked the girls over. It was important to see how a fight would go as he analyzed the ladies that Riser saw fit to claim as his.

The [Queen] appeared to be the most mature member of the group. It looked like her eyes matched the hair. Deep purple and well, she was quite beautiful. The clothing was revealing though. The blue tunic had gold accents and the pale skirt was too short to be reasonable. Issei wonder how she would fight like that. The white overcoat had no shoulder armor. Like most [Queens], Issei guessed she fought with magic.

The [Bishops] were also magician users. The first one was dressed in a kimono and it had a nice color pattern. Her black hair and golden eyes shined at her master. The other one was something that made him wonder. Despite the dress-up, that made her come from a fairy tale, Issei found that she and Riser shared a resemblance. He guessed she was a family member.

The [Rooks] looked like they were ready for a fight. The first one that he focused on made him rethink the missions that he fought in more liberal places of the Church. The punk outfit was just a jacket and jeans. She couldn't be out of place in a metal or rock festival. Her gloves, boots, and ripped jeans were just par for the course. Her mask did even more. He would know quite a few Exorcists or hired guns who would love to hang out with her.

The other [Rook] wore a Chinese Dress that didn't leave anything to the imagination. What showed was the hair buns and the blue eyes made her, even more, stand out.

Just like the [Rooks], the [Knights] came prepared. Issei guessed that someone had some ideas about how they looked. A mix from days past in the human realm but mixed in one outfit that looked stupid but if it worked, it wasn't stupid. The steel chest plate came from Europe, together with the sword and a dagger. But jewelry was also added to her outfit.

The other one had long dark hair and she barely wore any armor. She had changed safety for mobility. The large two-hander wouldn't be an ideal sword for that.

Unlike the other ones, the [Pawns] didn't look that ready for a fight.

Issei counted that Riser had three sets of twins. One pair was Maid outfit, another one looked like some cat girls while the last pair wore gym outfits. They appeared to be the smallest ones.

The two that stood out made Issei think the mind of Riser belonged in the sewers. While he loved to have some dirty thoughts, a Peerage wasn't a place to show it off.

The first one wore some sort of show-girl outfit that showed way too much skin while the other one had a light haori and coat. She wore a staff. Issei wondered how that would be used.

"What do you see, low blood scum? See how my Peerage looks?"

Issei just turned back to Riser as he was done analyzing. This was just helping the Peerage of Rias out in a big way.

"I see and I expected what I saw. It appears more to me that those girls have another function than fighting in Rating Games. Makes me wonder how you got undefeated in all of them."

Walking up to Riser, the glare intensified as Issei stood before him.

"I know your type. You're the type of sleaze bag that needed to have a Peerage to get girls in your bed. While that can't be faulted, I am not handing Rias over to you."

Riser's fury grew when Issei spoke those lines.

"What do you know?"

"The fact that in my book, ladies have to be courted. And it's clear you haven't known of that. Otherwise, why would Rias choose me over you?"

The Phenex wanted to fuel the fires in his hand as he watched Issei talk to him.

"I had plenty of women share my bed. But that was on their terms. I mean, I heard of it. Peerages tend to that need. Not that I blame you for it. I would probably be the same."

Issei would congratulate the guy if he wasn't pissing him off so much.

"But Rias isn't a woman you can do the same with. She has to be courted." Riser glared at him.

"Enough." The cold voice of Grayfia quelled any fires that could spread.

"You can have your fight on the Rating Game. For now, we will see that Issei Hyoudou can participate."
