Not much, I feel underwhelmed about the True Longunis in the original novel DxD So I wondered, what if it was explored more? This is the story of the descendant of the Chinese Warlord Cao Cao. Read it for your own sake. https://discord.gg/denoffanfics

Governor-General, Azazel

Six months passed, Cao Cao continued his Sacred Gear and Senjutsu training.

Ever since that incident, he hasn't tried to enter that state.. At least without him fully mastering Senjutsu.

Speaking of Senjutsu, he can now detect aura and control Ki! Although he wasn't near the level of his teacher, far from it , the training he did in these past few months did not fail him.

He wasn't falling behind his spearmanship either, his rival can attest to that. Even his teacher is praising his progress.

He was doing the same thing for six months. Martial Arts at day and Senjutsu at night.

He tried connecting to his Sacred Gear as his teacher put it, "creating a dialogue" with his spear.

There was no reaction so far. The last time he felt a connection was when he pulled that stunt off with his Senjutsu.

It's been months and that feeling about his Sacred Gear never disappeared, In fact, the feeling intensified along the months. It was strange…. Like his spear has been sighing about his user.

Either way, he didn't stop. This is probably related to his Balance Break, and in no hell he would let it off the hook.

Other than that, there were no changes about his routine however, today is an exception.

"Yo kid." Looking at the tall man greeting him, Cao Cao's mouth couldn't help but open.

The man in front of him wears a maroon trench coat, has a black goatee and golden bangs.

His grinning and carefree expression says who this person was.

The Governor-General of the Fallen Angels, Azazel.

It was a normal day for Azazel, the Governor-General of Grigori.

Fishing, researching, and finding a way to make Gabriel fall, this is how his day usually goes unless there's something urgent.

Something that has not happened in a few years. The Devil and Heaven factions are too busy tending their wounds. The former from their Civil War while the latter is about the old man's death.

He couldn't blame them, his faction was the same. If a war were to break out, their faction would surely be the one to be eliminated first.

Imagine his surprise when The Monkey King contacted him. Who would've thought that the Great Sage Equaling Heaven who sealed himself up in a mountain would take the initiative to do so.

Unless it's Sakra's call, Azazel doesn't believe that Sun Wukong would move.

Did something happen?

"Azazel, it's been a long time." The Monkey King blew his pipe.

"Long time? It's been ages! Last time I saw you, you were tall." The Fallen Angel jokes.

The hand that was holding the pipe trembled for a moment before Sun Wukong said, "And the last time I saw you, you were crying at how the Ouroboros Dragon didn't answer your wish but got a thunderbolt instead."

"Hey I wasn't crying!"

"You were slamming the ground and crying your heart out saying 'I was so close to making Gabriel fall' and you're telling me you weren't?' The Daiyoukai pointed out.

Azazel grumbled hearing that.

They are seated near a river with the Governor of the Fallen Angels holding a fishing rod and the Monkey King just sitting while blowing his pipe.

"Enough about that, what's so important that Sakra's vanguard have to contact a little figure like me, especially in Mount Huaguo?" The Fallen Angel looked around. It was the second time he visited this place.

Normally no one could just enter the Mountain of Flowers and Fruits. Aside from that it's hidden in the world, it's also guarded by Sun Wukong and in extension, Hindu Pantheon as the former is Indra's vanguard.

No one would be foolish enough to provoke the most powerful pantheon in existence.

"Something happened and I need a favor." The Monkey King went straight to the point.

The Governor-General's casual expression turned into one of surprise. What could he possibly do that the Hindu Pantheon can't provide?

"It's about a Sacred Gear." Sun Wukong revealed after seeing his surprised expression.

"Okay, aren't there Hindu Gods that are also informed about Sacred Gears?" Azazel was confused, although he was very knowledgeable about Sacred Gears, he didn't think that it was enough to gain Sun Wukong's favor.

"Indeed but this is the tricky part," Sun Wukong paused, "It's a Longinus."

Azazel's jaw dropped after hearing that. Now that was something.

Don't misunderstand, he already saw a Longinus, and that's the point! Usually it'll take a few years to even see one but in less than two years he already encountered like 3 of them with Sun Wukong's problem being 4. Hell, if he's right about this recent news then he'll meet the 5th.

What's wrong with this generation?

"No wonder you didn't ask a god." Azazel kneaded his temple. This news is giving him headaches…. And excitement too!

"Yes, Gods weren't really fond of the concept of Longinus." Sun Wukong dragged his words.

Azazel snorted. Not fond was an understatement. Most gods hate the concept of Longinus made by God due to how blasphemous its existence is .

A human gaining the potential to kill gods? For deities at other pantheons, their existence alone is downright disrespectful.

Then again, he could somewhat understand their point. It's like devils finding the existence of holy weapons, gods didn't want an existence that can potentially bring them down.

"But seriously? Just like that you're letting me see the Longinus." Azazel was aware of his… infamous reputation back then.

He changed but not everyone will understand it.

"Aza-boy," Sun Wukong's deep voice echoed on Azazel's ears. "The person I'm talking about is my disciple. As his teacher, my job is to train and unleash his full potential, not restrain it."

Azazel stared at the Monkey King for a few moments before scratching his head.

"You know what? Let me see the Longinus, I'll even do it for free! Though I would like to study it here and there." The Fallen Angel stood up and said his conditions.

"I can promise you the first one but the second, you'll have to ask the user himself. Do not worry about if he rejects you though, I'll still owe you." The Monkey King did the same.

"All this talk but no Longinus, when am I gonna meet him anyway?" Azazel stroked his goatee and asked.

The Monkey King didn't answer but instead summoned his magic staff, Ryu Jingu Bang and tapped the ground, summoning a Hindu magic circle.

With that, the two Fallen Angel and Buddha vanished, leaving the poor fishing rod alone.
