Ch 2 One week

the past week i have been doing a variety of things but i spent most of my time learning how to use my demonic power it wasn't easy cause of how much demonic power I have. the only reason I can think of for having more power compared to other devils my age is that I am the son of a super devil much like Millicas Gremory who was much more talented than rias when she was his age. I have been testing out what all I can do like summon fire, lighting, wind, water, earth just the basic elements I have come to find out that out of all of those wind is the one i have the most control over next would-be earth then fire, lightning and then water in that order exactly. I ranked them in that order based on how much power i could exert and control.

I haven't really been training myself just trying to learn what all that I can do at the moment I have tried other stuff too like gravity magic I can make myself float off the ground with it or increase the pressure of a single point or the weight of an object by about 200 ponds is my guess once I found out I could do that but I was unable to hold it for too long as it required much focus and control over my demonic power which I have yet to master. I applied gravity magic to my body increasing my weight load over the week and there has been a noticeable difference in my strength not a lot as it has only been a week, but I am sure that if I keep it up my strength will surely increase leaps and bounds. 

Biomancy is probably the most difficult for me to learn as it requires you to know the full anatomy of your body and precise control of your demonic power. it allows me to alter my body through magic whether it be increasing my muscle density or the toughness of my skin it is a really helpful especially since I can also speed up my healing process by an incredible amount on top of my devil body I should be able to heal minor wounds within minutes and severe wounds within hours but that is just a theory cause I haven't been able to test anything more than small cuts but I believe with enough practice I should be able to even regrow my limbs in the future. one drawback of it though is whenever I stop concentrating on biomancy all the alterations I made to my body will disappear so if I get into a fight, I need to learn how to hold the concertation on the spell while I'm in a fight cause i will also need to cast other spells. I should ask Sandra if she can fetch me a few books on devil anatomy.

clairvoyance is something I am also capable of to. it has been a really great magic to know I have been looking around the entire Astaroth estate without leaving my room I have come to really enjoy this spell especially when the maids go to the showers. "hehehehe" I quickly wipe that smile off my face and sigh cause now that I gained these memories of my past life, I have come to enjoy things that before i would pay no mind to i can also tell that it has changed me mentally for better or worse I cannot say yet. 

The last magic I have been using is illusion magic I have been causing some mischief with this spell but mostly harmless pranks the best I can do with it right now is conjure up a small illusion of a small animal. i open the palm of my hand as the crest of house Astaroth forms on my palm as a black crow flies out and circles around my room a few times before disappearing into a white smoke. Right now, if I touch any of my illusions they dissipate like fog. I plan on using it a lot I wonder if I would be able to get it to a level of using it like a shadow clone and give it an interactable body. wait shadow clone? moments like these have been happening were concepts or things I never heard of or seen suddenly pop up in my mind its quite freighting actually as sometimes I don't even think I'm me but that I'm still that other person from another world.

As for my clan traits worthless and decay I would say they are my most powerful I have tested decay and was able to decay an entire statue in the garden something interesting about it is even when I stopped pouring demonic power into it, it still continued to spread and decay the surroundings for a few seconds causing a lot of damage before it stopped and mother harshly scolded me for destroying her garden. I decide I would not use decay again till i get a trainer to teach me how to control it i asked my father if he could but he has been busing catching up on some work he has been putting off for a while but he asked lord Astaroth if he is willing to teach me and he agreed he would start to teach me soon. 

As for worthless it was one of the easier ones to learn it is an ability that allows one to nullify a person's offensive or defensive abilities as long as i understand the properties of the ability in use. elemental magic is by far the easiest to negate. worthless would work good on people that relies heavily on magic like rias who Soley depends on her destruction. i could negate angels control over light so my biggest weakness is not really that much of a problem.

my next step is to solve the biggest problem to my goal. during the week I have had time to figure out what I want to do in this life, and it is to become a satan like my father I plan on getting a strong political standing in devil society that means i need to gain a respectable amount of strength and need to gather allies among the high society and there are plenty of chances to do that. there are a lot of gathering and parties, celebrations and such often. the only problem to becoming a satan is Diodora because of his betrayal and longtime collaboration with the khaos brigade made it where no more members of clan Astaroth can become satans. I was thinking did Diodora develop his nasty personality later on or was he just born that way, so I decide to go and see Diodora in the flesh with my own eyes to see. I didn't want to believe that my sibling Diodora would end up like that but the memories in my head showed me that is how Diodora turns out in highschool dxd A despicable and vile person that ended up getting killed by Shalba Beelzebub. 

when I did go to visit him, it was like Rias Gremory in the show said he was spoiled and socially awkward I also learned he did not inherit the Astaroth clan trait, so he was not happy and mopped around but lord and lady Astaroth spoiled him trying to cheer him up. it came as a Suprise to him when I visited and was wary of me as expected but for the next few days I kept going over and spent some time with him we played games and talked about many things, he seemed to be doing better each time I went over and I really don't see how this harmless kid became that twisted in the future but I decide I will be keeping a close eye on him. I invited him to come and greet the heirs of Gremory and Sitir but he turned me down I guess it will take a bit to get him to be more sociable. *sigh* well, there goes my plan of ditching him with the two girls and running off.

I also came across Latia she was a very respectful of me as she was from a branch family I made sure to spend some time with her to eventually she got used to me and acted more relaxed she is a very polite and nice girl she became the next heir after Diodora's death and acted with the interest of restoring clan Astaroth it will be good to have someone like her as a Allie. me and her actually get along very well together.

I studied up on the politics and the devil civil war before i finally headed to bed to sleep.

*uhhh I'm not looking forward at all to tomorrow*

I mumble to myself as I fall asleep.
