Chapter 10: Akeno prepared

While the others were dumbfounded by his reason soon forgot the resentment as they smelled the sweet smell of donuts.

Seeing that Akeno prepared tea for everyone as she took a seat next to Rias on the couch opposite to his as Kiba sat on a chair at the side.

"There-there no need to hurry you know if you want I can make some for you anytime" Leo said chuckling as he patted Koneko's head who was devouring donuts like no tomorrow. Hearing him she did calm down but had a red tint on her cheeks as she kept nibling on the donut while enjoying the headpats.

Seeing this Rias and everyone else were quite surprised as Koneko hardly opened up to anyone. While Rias was busy with the donuts they were simply the best sweets she had ever tasted in her life.

She couldn't help but be upset at the fact that Leo never gave her cookies like he did with Sona, Tsubaki, Akeno and Koneko now that she tasted these donuts.

After the small donut party, Rias got down to business.

"So now let's talk about the reason why I called you here" Rias said with a serious look on his face.

Nodding his head, Leo indicated her to continue while he kept patting Koneko who was now resting her head on his lap silently enjoying his pats.

"Well you see Leo, all of us are devils" Rias said while others nodded their heads.

"Naruhodo…So!?" his nonchalant attitude left everyone surprised as Rias thought he wasn't believing them. So she unfurled her wings trying to show him that what she said was indeed the truth.

Seeing that Leo lifted Koneko off of him leaving the neko grumbling a bit and walked upto Rias as he started touching the wings since he was indeed intrigued by the wings as he wanted to know how they felt. While he was busy checking out the wings, Rias let out a small moan as the wings are sensitive.

"W-wait what are you doing" With a red face Rias hurriedly taking her wings back as she sat on the couch trying to calm herself down.

"Hmm…I was just seeing how devil wings felt when touched" Leo said in an innocent tone.

"Ara~Ara…Leo-kun if you want you can touch my wings as well" Akeno said as she seductively posed showing her curves while unfurling her wings.

Just as he was about to answer,

"Leo-senpai can to-touch my wings if he wants to" said Konkeo in a low tone with red cheeks.

Leo was surprised at that while Kiba was thinking why the fuck he was even here.

After the little episode, things calmed down.

"Alright I get it you are devils so what is it that you want to talk about" Leo said looking at Rias.

"You know shouldn't you be surprised or anything like that?" asked Rias as she expected him to be surprised or show some fear or something.

Leo just shrugged not bothering to answer. Seeing that Rias just got to the point as she started explaining him about devils and their peerage system.

"I get the gist of it so I assume you want me in your peerage" Leo said

"That is correct you see there are a lot of benefits being a devil you can have mon-…" Rias tried to explain the benefits of being a devil but was cut-off by Leo.

"Not interested"

"Oh great so…. Huh!? what did you say" Rias not expecting this answer was clearly shocked.

"As I said I have no interest in being a devil" Leo said as he got up to leave.

"W-Wait!" Rias shouted as she still wanted to try to make him join her peerage.

Seeing Rias would just annoy him, Leo released a portion of his strength as all the people in the room were alarmed by it. They realized they couldn't move a muscle as they felt a pressure they have never felt before.

Rias was beyond shocked by it as she couldn't understand how could a human possess this much power as she felt her legs get weak and fall on the floor.

Seeing them he sighed as he reigned his power in and walked over to Rias. This alerted the rest of the peerage as they got in a fighting stance but they knew they couldn't do anything to him.

Ignoring it he extended his hand to Rias he helped her back to her feet she was still overwhelmed by his pressure from earlier as she lost her balance falling in his embrace.

Just then a magic circle appeared as a beautiful young woman with silver haired tied in twin braids and silver eyes wearing a maid outfit appeared. As she looked at the scene of Rias lying in Leo's embrace as everyone else also turned to look at her as an awkward silence set in.
