Synopsis

It has the ability create life as thought it was a measly feat. With its power it can destroy worlds and create civilisations. It exists everywhere, where you step, what you see and what you breath is part of it. One can say it's not only omniscient and omnipotent, but omnipresent as well. But what is It? A deity? No, it's a dungeon. ... A young man from earth has found himself reincarnated as a dungeon. In this new world, he is now but a child. Armed with nothing else but his genius creation capability, come watch him as he struggles to survive this world where his kind are treated as nothing but tools. "Hmm? Another group of adventurers is sent to close me down?" He laughed. "Clearly, they didn't understand when i killed all of their armies... wait, that boy has a good looking soul. Why don't I turn him into a slime?" From the deepest pits of the dungeons, terrifying creatures awoke as they had been ordered by the creature they live in. Be the strongest dragons living in the deepest levels of the dungeon, to the weakest goblins only known for being cannon fodder. Each of these creatures got up to greet the newcomer, because he ordered them to.

Chapter 1Chapter 1: Dungeon●

The universe.

A large space of existence that supports billions of different life forms. It is the medium of life, death, and the existence of many and all within it.

Be the littlest ants or the largest of giants. The universe is the mother of all things that exist in it.

Today, this mother of all has once again bred a child. A child born different from his peers and beyond his elders. A child with potential even the gods would envy.

This child, however, was clueless about his own identity, as he was too preoccupied by the revelation that he had just received.

"So I have died?"

Was a question the child asked itself. But an answer was not needed, as the inherent knowledge in its head was hard to ignore. Coupled with the fact that he no longer felt any of his limbs, the child was forced to believe.

"I am no longer human."

As far as the child could remember, not longer than a few hours ago, he was human.

A child born like any other that grew into a young man no different from the rest

As far as the child could remember, not long ago he was a freshman in university. It was still a young man who was adjusting to university life. It was a simple life with a simple ending. A life that could not get any more regular than it already is.

Yet this life ended so shortly.

"I don't even know how it ended."

This was something that the child found confusing. He could remember most of how its previous life began but has not a single clue about how it ended.

"Oh well..."

Just like that, the child lost interest in hos previous life's mysteries. He felt no need to continue contemplating something that seemed to hold no attainable answer or use for the time being.

Of course, it was not that he did not care for what occurred in his previous life, but that his present life seems to require more of his attention.

"It's better to focus on the present than the past. Especially now since I need to focus on my survival."

For most creatures in the universe, newborn children are normally taken care of by their parents. Guided by their instincts, parents usually care for their children until they are able to fend for themselves. So the newborn children do not have to worry about safety until they are fully grown.

But there are other species that do not care for their children one bit. Once the eggs are deposited or laid, the parent will walk away, never to be seen again. Whether the child lives or dies would no longer be any of the parent's business.

Sadly for this child, his parents are of the latter type. Like an unwanted egg, he was deposited and left to fend for himself.

Luckily, though, in this life, he is born into a species without any natural predators. Many may hunt his kind from all across the universe, but rarely is it ever done to destroy or kill them. Most who do hunt them only wish to use them.

After all, who wouldn't want a dungeon?

One of the few living creatures in the whole universe who can traverse the chaos space without being affected by it. The only creatures in the universe other than natural worlds that can create ether without ascending to godhood They are loved for the treasures they have within and feared for the creatures that call them home. They are masters of creation but are only known for their destruction.

They are dungeons!

"Sigh."

The child let out a sigh. Although dungeons are rarely destroyed, many wish to instead enslave them. Be to use them as a personal space, grow an army, or even as a personal ship to cross the universe.

One must know that in this universe, the very laws seem to be much different from the previous one. Out here, men with a single giant machine have absolutely no hope of ever crossing the universe. Because in this universe, anything that even attempts to jump off a world will be crushed to a single point by the universal pressure.

So for those who wish to travel the vast universe without any power to call their own, their only hope is to have a dungeon as their transporter.

Plus, if one can get control over a dungeon, they will have their own personal space where they can call themselves gods. Not only will they be able to create life as they wish, but they will also have an infinite tap of the magical energy called ether.

Of course, that is only if they could gain control over the dungeon. And for those who have the right knowledge, controlling a dungeon is very easy. As long as a dungeon core is within sight and the relevant technique is used.

Thinking up to this point, the child turned his attention to his internal body. Which was the only part of him that could be safely observed by mortal eyes. As his external body was an amalgamation of concepts and horror that no mortal could begin to understand. If by any chance a mortal were to gaze upon his body, there is a chance they could gain enlightenment and ascend immediately. That is, if they were to survive the near 100% chance of an explosion or madness.

But his internal body was safe. As this is where he, as a dungeon, lets his monsters roam free.

The space was not that big. It was lined by hard rock and nothing else. By his estimates, the space is likely to be about 25 or so square meters. The space was thus a bit small, but it was large enough to hold the heart of all dungeons.

His dungeon core!

There it stood, half submerged in the ground. It was a large and luminous sphere that covered the small space with its radiant blue light. The light was not too bright, so one could see the interior of the core. Inside was what seemed like a nebula of light dots that looked like stars.

"So that's what my dungeon core looks like. Weird, it feels slightly detached."

The child did not wonder too long about this feeling, though. As it was time to do what dungeons do most.

Create life!

GREED: ALL FOR WHAT?

It is said that you shouldn't meet your heroes. Gehaldirah, a high elf of royal bloodline didn't have to meet the realm lord of High Heaven before he became disillusioned. His admiration for the paragon of the high elf race turned into hatred when he got some damning knowledge about why demons kept attacking his home and looting the sacred tree of life. His hatred for the realm lord turned to self-hatred for his weakness and mediocrity. Gehaldirah had a moment of introspection. He isn't at the bottom of the ladder in this strength-based hierarchy. He is a king of law, but that apparently isn't enough to guarantee your fate. His strength is also mediocre because it was granted to him because of his bloodline. He determined he had to change himself. He has to become better. He concocted a plan that is one part genius and one part greed. His plan for reincarnation led him to the trial of heaven that occurs every origin cycle. He needed Origin essence so he participated in the trial. He got more than he wanted from the trial. His plan for reincarnation would be a success after some adjustments. But now he has a different aim. He won't aim for just the realm lord. The realm lord has control of the High Heaven Realm. That isn't enough for Geraldirah anymore. He became greedier. He has his sight set on the movers and shakers of the Void Universe. Only the power to subvert the will of World Gods will do. The plan to create LEGION, the ultimate organism was then hatched. If one person cannot achieve something, what about a multitude of them? His journey will not be easy. He will have to overcome Celestials and their Celestial Supreme, Gods and their GodKings, Demon kings and their Demon gods. The Void Universe is full of obstacles that will like nothing more than to put an end to his path. It is not that they hate him. They will oppose him simply because the era of conquest is coming. There are no friends in the era of conquest. It is everyone for themselves. And he will use everything and everyone for the advancement of Legion. AUTHOR: I cannot promise that you will like it. I can only promise that the book is original and unique. It is something new. The MC is neutral evil. He is willing to sacrifice everyone for his goals. He is smart and the antagonists in the book are cunning. Check out my other book as well Lunar:Secret Guardians ******************* "Grey, elemental affinity, zero" The Elder announced the result loudly On hearing this, it was like a bolt of lightning struck Grey, he stood there dumbfounded and just stared at the Elder. Shocked voices could be heard from the people and there was some which were also filled with scorn. Grey stood dazed amidst all the noises without any reactions. One word was constantly reverberating in his head, 'How?'. 'Why, why did this happen to me?' Grey asked himself over and over again **************** Unbeknownst to Grey, something greater lies in wait in his body.... *************** Check out the book, leave a review after reading, and also your powerstones. Hope you enjoy this, and Thanks for reading ^_^ P.S: When I started this book I had zero writing experience, so the first chapters aren't that great, although, my writing quality has improved over time. Also, English isn't my first language, so there are some instances where my choice of words are not good enough for what I'm trying to portray. A heads up, the book will be using a medieval setting. My world building is not the best, but it gets better over time, so bear with me on the early chapters! P.S: Cover art not mine I just edited it. If you're the owner and want me to take it down you can notify me. Other novel: Lunar:Secret Guardians Check it out as well! Discord Server: https://discord.gg/gs68a4ZzaN

Before I go into any detail, I need to mention a few things..., for one, the book feels more like the author is writing it for themselves and not others, or they just don't care all that much about the readability. On average, it's like 0.7 spelling mistakes per paragraph and it can get tricky to guess at first sight, so it does sometimes break the immersion. The other thing is that, there was this one chapter (I just checked - chapter 6) at the beginning of the story introducing some new characters and then nothing more for more than 40 chapters. No mention, no obvious development in that area, it wasn't even a full chapter that was first dedicated to it.OK, fine. I'm good now, so let's get to the story, shall we?First of all, and something that personally got me interested, was the world building and the way author explained why you can't just pop a gun out of nowhere and "win the game". It's very intuitive and nicely weaved into the world. The background was also neatly put together without revealing too much. The story goes rather slow, but has enough action to keep you invested in the plot. And as we reach the plot I have a feeling (not a good one) that we will get some oh so worked to the bone MC's very tragic backstory... It wasn't introduced yet (I'm on chapter 51 right now), what it is, but there were some thing that made me think so and they also messed quite a bit with the image of the MC.At first as we are introduced to the MC and learn that they (author refers to the as "he" MOST of the time) are a dungeon, we are also told that they think they remember being human and some other things, but no spoiler... The point is that they discard that thought right the next second and we start to learn more about him in the light of something detached from the world of mortals, living in a different reality, in more ways than one, but then things happen and for some weird reason...Please consider, if you want to read ahead as it will be a teeny tiny spoiler. Please consider, if you want to read ahead as it will be a teeny tiny spoiler. Please consider, if you want to read ahead as it will be a teeny tiny spoiler....for some weird reason he just suddenly remembers that he ?was? ones a human, because he got a headache over having too many options about what to do (in all honesty, there were just two... it was just two options... and not really that complicated) and now our beloved MC is acting like a scared lil' ... I won't say it. Judge yourself. After a short moment, things are back to normal, but man, really?
