The Shop Grandma (3)

'Staff, use 40 dungeon points to summon two goblin warriors.'

With Kalle's command, a silvery blue portal, one that had the same color as the staff and looked very similar to the red portal, appeared behind him.

Without waiting for long, two goblin warriors spawned right out of the blue portal and followed along with Grux as they kneeled in front of Kalle.

Last night, the staff, or rather the ring, had explained to him how the dungeon points worked.

Basically, he got dungeon points from conquering and claiming dungeons. If he claimed a dungeon, he would get the full amount of dungeon points a dungeon core provided.

If he chose to only conquer it but didn't claim it, then Kalle would only get half of those points.

Because he claimed the goblin dungeon yesterday, he got 100 points from it and now he could use the dungeon points.

As a dungeon sovereign, Kalle was able to summon creatures from the dungeon that he had conquered.

In this case, he had conquered the goblin dungeon and he could summon goblins from that dungeon.

If he wanted to summon a creature, then he needed to pay dungeon points to do it.

For example, the goblin dungeon gave him the option to summon three types of goblins.

The ordinary goblins cost him 1 dungeon point to summon. But the other two types were stronger goblins and Kalle needed more points to summon them.

The goblin warrior costs 20 dungeon points to spawn while the goblin shaman costs 25. And right now, Kalle used 40 of his points to summon two goblin warriors.

With Grux, his contracted monster is a separate entity altogether as Kalle could summon him whenever he wanted due to the contracted monsters having different rules from the summoned monsters.

Right now, Kalle had three goblin warriors under his command and he was ready to go in.

Not wasting even a single more second after the two goblin warriors had spawned, Kalle used basic body enhancement on his feet as he dashed through the opened shop door.

He didn't use leap due to him being afraid of destroying the shop altogether because he couldn't control it very well yet.

Fortunately, his basic body enhancement did its job quite well as it only took Kalle a second to get from the shop door to the back of the man who transformed his hands into a bear's.

The two other men who were right behind the transformed men couldn't even do anything when they saw a man with a half mask appearing right behind their boss and grabbing their boss' neck.

Kalle didn't want to fight inside the shop and ruin the old lady's whole stock and possibly do more damage than the thugs if they were to steal from her.

So when he grabbed the transformed man's neck, Kalle moved his basic body enhancement to his hands and threw the man outside.

With his enhanced hands, the man's body flew right outside the door and landed in the middle of the street.

It would have been enough to injure the man if he just let his body fly and landed headfirst into the ground.

However, the man didn't just let his body be kicked out of nowhere.

The second he found himself suddenly flying, the man positioned his body so that his transformed hands would be the first to hit the ground.

With his strong bear hands, the man landed scotch-free from any injuries as he tried to figure out what had just happened.

Looking towards the shop that he had just been in a few seconds ago, he found an unknown man, wearing a half-mask that was as dark as the night walking in his direction.

"You! Are you the one who threw me!?"

He then heard the man release a sigh before speaking,

"Good gosh, I couldn't believe thugs are really this stupid even in real life, not only in tv shows…"

Hearing the unknown man's answer, a tingling feeling filled up his hands and his body began heating up.

"Bastard! Watch me rip your mouth open with bare hands!"

But as if challenging the man, the masked man smiled and opened his arms wide.

"Come and get me!"

"You!"

The transformed man then used his hands and his feet to launch his body forward, flying straight in the unknown man's direction.

He was only a few meters away from reaching the masked man, and the image of him ripping the masked man's mouth and crushing his mask had already played in his mind.

"Got you now fucker!" The transformed shouted as he raised his transformed hands, ready to swipe at the unknown man's half-covered face.

"Come and get me if you can." The masked man kept his smile and said once again as his fist got closer and closer to him.

But before he could reach the masked man, three shadows abruptly came out of the side of his vision before he felt a sharp pang in his chest, stomach, and nether area.

"UGH-"

It was the only word that he could muster before he flew in a completely different direction from where he was supposed to land.

This time, he couldn't even try to reposition his flying body as the pain that he felt was so great.

Particularly the pain from the two hanging balls that spread to his stomach.

As his body crashed into the ground, the man felt the air leaving his lungs as he was launched almost ten meters away and landed backside first onto the hard asphalt road.

With so much pain assaulting his body, the man couldn't manage to get up as he just lay there, passed out from the shock and too much pain.

Seeing that the real threat had been dealt with, Kalle then looked at the two remaining thugs who had their feet shaking outside of their control.

"You two wanted to be thrown away too?"

The two of them instantly shook their heads and simultaneously replied,

"NO!"

As if knowing what time it was, the two thugs hurriedly headed to the door and tried to leave.

But before they could take one step outside, two green-skinned creatures, holding bone axes in their hands, stopped them in their tracks.

"EEGH!"

Kalle then spoke to them, "Come on, you had caused trouble for this old lady here and you even broke her desk, isn't there something you should do first?"

The two thugs instantly knew what Kalle meant and handed all their money to him.

Kalle then told the two goblins to move aside and let the two men go.

The two men were about to check on their boss when Kalle spoke for the last time,

"Grux, check that man's pocket, is there anything that looks like this," Kalle said while showing the money to Grux, "then grab it and bring it to me."

Grux did as he was told to and checked all the unconscious man's pockets.

He found a few sheets and brought them back to Kalle just as he was told to.

With that, the two thugs then checked on their boss and found that he was still breathing so they propped him up and brought him away, running as far away as possible from the half-masked man.

The thugs who wanted to kick some ass and fill up their pockets got their ass kicked and their money stolen instead.

Still holding all the money he got from the thugs, Kalle walked up to the old lady and spoke,

"Grandma, can I have some bread, eggs, and cheese?

Oh! And some ramen, please! We don't know how long this lockdown will continue going for."

The old lady who had finally stood back on her feet almost fell down again when he saw the masked man who wanted to buy things from her.

She was afraid that the masked man would continue what the three thugs were doing, but fortunately, she was wrong.

When she heard the masked man's voice, the old lady took a good look at the man's half-covered face, but she didn't find anything.

She then looked at the man's attire and tilted her head for a few seconds before then smiling.

But she didn't say anything.

The old lady just took the money Kalle gave her and rang up the stuff that Kalle wanted to buy.

"You could get a lot of stuff with this much money, do you want to buy them all?"

Kalle replied, "No, I just need some to last me for a week or two. You should use the rest to buy a new desk."

The old lady then did as she was told and gave Kalle two large plastic bags filled with things more than what he had ordered.

Kalle realized this and he was about to speak to the grandma, but she beat him to it,

"Just take it as your usual bonus. You are getting more this time since you've helped me big time."

Without thinking much, Kalle smiled and thanked the old lady.

Then before Kalle went out of the shop, the grandma spoke loudly,

"Thanks a lot, kid!

Next time you want to be all mysterious, don't wear the clothes that you've been using every day for the past two years!"

Hearing her words, Kalle just realized what he had done and could only smack his head and shout for one last time,

"Thank you!" before he used leap to hide from his embarrassment.

The three goblin warriors who saw their master just suddenly jumped away and followed behind him as they traversed the urban terrains with ease.

After landing on a secluded alleyway, Kalle could finally calm down as he shook his head multiple times.

"I should maybe find a cape or something that could hide my body…"

He learned a new lesson for now and got embarrassed quite well.

But he didn't have that much time to lament his stupidity for now as he had another task that he needed to finish.

Putting his staff in front of him, Kalle spoke in his mind,

'Open the gate to the legacy dungeon.'

A golden portal, one that had the same color as Gilgamesh's hair and the staff when it belonged to Gilgamesh, appeared right in front of Kalle.
