Slime Dungeon Re-Run (3)

With Kalle's and Edric's powers, the group finally made it back to the entrance of the boss room with ease.

With the mana bullet skill, the run had become considerably easier as Kalle could use it to get rid of imminent threats first, enabling his shamans to cast the curse of weakness safely.

Through their journey coming back to the boss room, Kalle and Edric also found out a neat thing that they could do with their skills.

With both of them having the dragon eyes skill and absolute mana control, the two of them had managed something that Kalle had never thought of being possible before.

After seeing what he and his little companion could do, Kalle immediately put it as his trump card when fighting inside the boss room.

Kalle had unsummoned all his creatures, including Grux and Betnulb.

Learning from his past mistakes, the goblin shaman wouldn't be able to do much if he was bombarded with attacks the second he entered the room, and taking him along early would only be dangerous for the shaman.

As for Edric, the little dragon still stayed along with Kalle, sitting on his shoulders.

Unlike the two goblins who came from the dungeon and could enter their dungeon anytime they were unsummoned, Edric didn't have a dungeon where he belonged.

So even if Kalle wanted to unsummon him, Kalle wasn't able to do it.

It would be a different case if he summoned him though, Kalle would be able to call upon the little dragon anywhere he wanted because of the contract that they had.

Besides, Edric staying together with him was also another strategy that Kalle had thought of to make sure that he succeeded this time.

Kalle waited for his mana and dungeon points to regenerate first before he finally opened the huge stone door for the second time today.

Just like before, he used basic body enhancement to open the giant door with his hands.

However, different from before when he opened the door slowly and took his time to observe his surroundings, Kalle didn't do any of that this time.

Using his full power to slam the door open as hard as he could, Kalle wasted no time as he moved the basic body enhancement from his hands to his feet before using the leap skill.

With the double enhancement in his feet and mana filling it up, Kalle disappeared from the entrance of the dungeon and came straight to the middle of the boss room.

The place where the huge slime resided.

He found himself standing face to face with car-sized slime as Kalle stared at the creature that had caused his second death.

But Kalle didn't plan on having any sweet reunion with the creature.

The second Kalle landed on the ground not too far away from the huge slime, Kalle instantly cast a spell.

"Mana Bullet." He aimed the staff toward the slime in front of him and used his absolute mana control to add even more mana to Edric's original mana bullet.

It would be hard to control that much mana in normal circumstances, but with the skill absolute mana control, it wasn't any problem for Kalle to add even more mana to the skill that already took a lot of mana to cast.

The original mana bullet that had slightly more mana from the bright orange fireball now had even more mana as Kalle planned to add as much mana as the mana needed to cast the curse of weakening.

However, he didn't have much time to gather as much mana as the huge slime moved early this time.

Sensing the convergence of mana in front of itself, the huge slime moved as it jumped forward, moving in Kalle's direction as it wanted to swallow whatever it was that stood in front of it.

But Kalle was ready for any kind of movement the huge slime decided to do the second he decided on this strategy.

So when Kalle saw the slightest bit of movement from the huge slime, Kalle didn't waste any second and released his mana bullet right away.

The mana bullet that was already strong enough to move faster than what an ordinary human eye could see and leave a meter-wide crater on the ground became even stronger than before with more mana added to it.

The huge slime which knew nothing about the mana bullet became its first victim as the mana bullet left Kalle's staff.

The huge slime felt the convergence of mana move, but it didn't have the capabilities to dodge it as the mana bullet simply moved too fast.

Although the huge slime had the ability to move fast when it swallowed the green wind slime and used its ability, it was currently just an ordinary slime that had a body as big as a car.

It didn't have the ability of the wind slime yet as it hadn't swallowed any slime because Kalle came and attacked it the second he entered the dungeon.

As a result, the mana bullet hit the huge slime's body as it took out half the chunk of the huge slime.

"Did I do it!?"

Kalle stared at the huge slime with anticipation as he hoped that the remaining half of the huge slime would also crumble along with the first half that the mana bullet had taken out.

However, things didn't go as planned as something that Kalle didn't expect before happened right in front of his eyes.

The huge slime that had half of its body obliterated didn't die and instead started regenerating the missing half of its body.

"That's cheating!"

Kalle saw what happened and he was about to cast another mana bullet towards the immobile slime that was busy regenerating itself.

But before he could do that, Kalle's mana sense and dragon eyes alerted him as a huge amount of mana was felt all over the directions around him, and Kalle's eyes were filled with the vibrant colors of different types of mana.

Without even thinking what was happening, Kalle knew that he was about to be bombarded with a lot of shit.

'Fuck me…'
