Change Part I

“Damn! What is all this?!”

A voice shouted before running toward a crack over the bubbling molten stones below. Two men were running away from a pack of lava salamanders that were chasing closely behind them. Some of the lizards were diving up and down the scorching 1,000-degree lava below while the others ran with all four legs on the extremely hot stone path. Those lizards were bigger than blue whales.

“Speed Boost” Tan activated a skill that could increase his speed.

“Edward! Get in here, quick!” the guy hiding in the stone crack shouted at another guy who was running from said monster.

“Shall we get cozy?” Edward shouted back whilst waving his hands around.

“Your humor knows no bounds!” Tan shouted back as he moved further inside the crack. After getting inside, he discovered there was another inner layer of crack that separated into two sides, right and left, deeper inside the rocks. It was a T-shape path that could potentially provide a decent hiding spot.
