Once Su Yang entered the island, Chun Hua and the other disciples remained outside to watch as spectators. Since they weren't participating in the assessment, none of them could step foot inside the island. Moreover, there was a massive formation around the island that blocked all kinds of communications, so nobody could contact Su Yang while he was taking the assessment and vice-versa. This was done to prevent cheating.
