New Project, Meeting up with Alice

Tyler and Dan went to a small room in the backyard. Dan asked him to take a seat while he was also in front of Tyler.

"Sorry for getting you involved in this mess."

"It's okay. I am just curious what kind of mission the city lord posted to make Sulen Family make such a move."

Hearing his words, Tyler clenched his fist and said "We must get this project."

Tyler also fell into a deep thought but suddenly he realized something and asked "What if another family as big as Sulen supports us?"

"Do you have someone in your mind? And, would they even help us?" Dan asked.

"Well, I made friends with Helen Family girl during my trip to Holy Sanctum Branch. I can ask her if she could help us." Tyler answered.

Dan hesitated as he spoke "If they truly support us, we might be able to complete this project. I mean, it would still be two of us but we will definitely get this project. So, you can try."

"Good! I will find a way to meet her right now." Tyler spoke as he stood up.

"You should take some rest to restore your spiritual energy. You must have used a lot during that attack." Dan suggested as he stood.

"You aren't going to ask?" Tyler was surprised as he asked.

Dan turned around and smiled "People have their own secrets. Instead of listening to a lie, I rather not listen at all."

Tyler smiled at his point and Dan left. He used Golden Sword Essence Technique to recover his spiritual energy from the surroundings. Since he hadn't cultivated the Tyrant Lightning Body Technique, he could only use the previous sword technique.

After twenty minutes, he recovered his spiritual energy and left the room. Before they left, Alice had told him a way to find her. On Third Street, there was a tea shop named 'Lotus.'

He went there and saw very few people entering this tea shop. He walked up to the shopkeeper and said "Lotus must bloom in a lake."

Hearing his words, the shopkeeper narrowed his eyes and moved his hand to the small black button on the side. He pressed the button and looked at him with a smile.

"Please take a seat! Would like to have some tea?"

Tyler shook his head and went to a seat.

After fifteen minutes, a girl entered the tea shop. As soon as she entered, the shopkeeper bowed to her.

"We will stay on the upper floor."

Alice spoke as she walked toward Tyler's seat.

"How come you are sitting here? Let's go up!"

Tyler had no choice but to follow her. As they reached the second floor, Alice took him to a private room with closed walls.

"So, what made you remember me so soon?" Alice cutely smiled as she asked.

"I need your support for something." Tyler spoke.

"Alright! Let's hear it." Alice nodded.

"I am currently in the midst of buying the partnership of Dan Weapon Shop where I worked previously. We recently received a new mission…."

"Oh! You are here to ask me to pick a fight against Sulen Family." Alice instantly realized the situation and looked at him with amazement.

"Can you?" Tyler asked.

"Of course, I can. This is what I was waiting for. But in return, you have to ask Blacksmith Dan to forge five Fourth Rank Weapons for free." Alice giggled as she put her terms in front of him.

Tyler was surprised by her quick decision and her terms. It seemed like an easy one but the fourth-rank weapons aren't easy to create.

Not to mention, it costs 20000 meso for a single weapon. That means she was indirectly asking for 100000 meso and a lot of hardship.

"I can't agree to that. How about five Third Rank weapons?" Tyler shook his head and presented his terms.

"Sorry but you are asking me to pick a fight with another family with the same strength as us without any reason whatsoever." Alice made a perfect point when she said that.

Tyler bit his lips and asked "How about three Fourth Rank Weapons then? You know just how hard it is to create a fourth-rank weapon, right?"

Hearing his terms, Alice narrowed her eyes and put her hand on the table. She put her chin on her hand as she spoke.

"Then, how about making ten Fourth Rank Weapons for us while we provide you the main ores you need to create those."

Tyler rolled his eyes and said "You know that wouldn't cut the cost from the previous term. It would still be 100000 meso worth of work."

"But, this time you don't have to find the ores on your own or even suffer a loss on the ores." Alice put her terms as she smirked.

Tyler heavily sighed "Alright then!"

"Great!" Alice stood up while raising her hands in the air. She rushed next to him and kissed his cheek.

Tyler looked at her with confusion as he asked "Was that for making a deal or for just me?"

Alice jumped on the table and put her legs around him. She put her hands on his shoulder and said "Do you really want to know?"

Tyler suddenly moved his arms around her and said "It seems like its time to reap some benefits."
